Best Lesbian Erotica of the Year Volume 2 (edited by Sacchi Green) is an erotica anthology with 18 contributions. As always the scenarios are vastly different and there is something for us all to enjoy. And hurray for racial and age diversity!
The ones I really liked where Arm’s Length by Theda Hudson, Super by Heather Day, Bicycling Puts the Fun Between your Legs by Janelle Reston, Relics by Sarah Fonseca, Fine Lines by M. Birds, Strawberry Surprise by Anna Watson, Cinema Fantastique by Victoria Janssen, Origins by Amanda Rodriguez and Prove it on Me by Carah Patterson.
Shaved by Pascal Scott annoyed the crap out of me where one of the MC’s says to the other (on their very first date, mind you):
Then I lean down, take her arms and pin them over her head, wrist on wrist. I look into her eyes. “I don’t do that,” I explain. “I’m always on top.”
“Oh,” she says. “I didn’t know.”
I release her arms and let my fingertips slide down her neck, circle one breast and then the other, down to her belly button, and into her nest of pubic hair.
“And while we’re talking about sex, I don’t do oral unless you shave.”
“Oh,” she says again.
And then she proceeds to take the other woman’s heirloom straight razor from grandpa’s civil war display case and uses it on her. I’m sorry but I would drop kick that bitch out of my home in record time.

Give This Woman Some Air
This book has 18 stories of sizzling, steamy sexiness. Some of the tales are kinky like Andrea Dale’s The Lady Inventor’s Club. This orgasmic bit is a lovely bit of bdsm bliss with a rocking horse… Some of the tales are more vanilla with long overdue make out (and more) session in the balcony in an old theater as in Cinema Fantastique by Victoria Janssen. Some of the stories feature stranger hook ups like the young woman who wants the butch to teach her how to please a woman as in Theda Hudson’s Arm’s Length and some stories are of contented couples. My favourite in this category has to be The Diary by Emily L Byrnes. A woman reads her lover’s diary to see what has been written about her. This is tender, hot and wonderful! I'm giving this three stars, but don't take that as any measure of your own enjoyment-- I'm pretty straight. The quality and intrigue of the stories were all over the spectrum, but my favorites were the ones that set the tone with something exciting and fast-paced beyond the sex.

It was fun to read an exclusively lesbian erotica collection. 🙏🏼 kinda bummed by the very hetero porn type clichés (like ”cock-sucking lipstick”) and obviously i didn’t like all the stories as much as the others.
