A charming blend of music and story. Packaging indicates the stories are intended for ages 8 and up. An issue I see with the audio version is that you lose any source or cultural notes that might have been included in the print version.

This is a really nice collection of tales from the whole globe. The narratives are beautifully crafted to retell traditional folktales. The only thing I would have preferred would have been color illustrations.
