I love the Hale Street series. In some of the previous books, we’ve seen glimpses of Sin and Jilly. We’ve had a faint inkling of the challenges that Jilly has faced, but now we get the full story. Jilly is so brave and so focused on turning her life around. Her growth in this story is phenomenal and she really comes into her own. Sin is so patient and so good with Jilly. He’s a big guy but has tremendous control over himself. They make a lovely couple. They do have a clash but they don’t let it drag on and resolve it fairly quickly and maturely by (surprise) actually talking about it! I think this is my favourite of the series so far.

Another good story of a Hale Street couple. This is Jill and John’s (Sin) story. Jill is determined to put her past, which created weakness in her, behind her. She has been attracted to Sin for awhile, not realizing that he is interested in her. As everyday life keeps drawing them together, their friendship turns into a relationship. Life is not without its bumps, but as Jill comes more and more out of her shell, she gains greater confidence and strength. She stops running. Sin has his obstacles to overcome also, he needs to support her and let her prove herself. Will they work out their differences?

Wow

Jilly is recovering from an abusive ex and finding herself. John aka Sin is the head chef or hopes he is going to be. He likes Jilly and goes to protect her. This is a great story.

Wonderful Hale Street Romance…After leaving an abusive marriage, Jilly has been slowly trying to build a life by setting goals and trying new experiences. John Sinclair moved to Nashville to be a head chef at the classy hotel on Hale Street. When John spies Jilly, he wants to get to know her and to help her. These are two very interesting characters. I enjoyed watching Jilly grow and seeing John learn from Jilly. John may want to protect Jilly, but she wants to stand on her two feet. I love this book and this series. This is a place that I would want to at least visit if not live there. I recommend this book and this series. I was given a copy of this book by the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review.
