This is a delightful and entirely useful guide to how to become your own boss. Andi is a magician (among other things) but his guidance here, as he notes, works for anything you want to be. The heart of it is this: do what inspires your passion, don't hesitate, make your focus the joy of the work over the profit of the work, and learn as you go.
This book describes almost exactly the path I took to become a writer, right down to Andi's departure from the tech world, which was much like my own. Outstanding, entertaining, and practical.
