Karma exists and it hits hard when it comes looking for you.

There was a time Tyler had it all, a good job, a perfect boyfriend, and friends to pass the time with, but that's all gone. Bad choices, drug addiction, and anger issue threw that all away. Now he's on his own with nowhere to go and no one to turn to, leaving him homeless and alone.

After losing his boyfriend in an accident years ago, Richard turned his attention to work. Owning one of the busiest gyms in the city keeps him busy and distracts him so he doesn't dwell on the past. His only escape is his motorcycle and the friends who share his passion and ride with him when they have time.

A string of bad luck for both men bring them together, and a quick one-night stand gives them both something they need without any strings attached. But that one night isn't easily forgotten, and as a friendship builds, so does the passion.

Still, Tyler doesn't tell Richard the truth about his situation, and when things go from bad to worse, he is forced to come clean, sharing his shame and guilt, convinced that Richard won't want anything to do with him again.

Overcoming the past is something both men must do, but letting go of the pain isn't easy for either man. Facing a future just as unsure is even harder, but together they might just find a way to survive and find a way to begin again.

**** People CAN change; they can start over and it helps to have a true friend.
* Richard
,

co-owner of the club and owner of a Gym, was gathered with his Motorcycle Club, getting organized to take a group ride. As everyone fired up and rode off, Richard's bike had trouble.
* Homeless Tyler

was at the park across the street and went over to help the man. They became fast friends as they worked on the bike, plus they had a night of hot passion.

Tyler didn't want to take anything for fixing the bike, but Richard gave him a Gym membership. Tyler was happy to take that so he'd be able to work out and shower. One night after leaving the gym, Tyler was beaten by three guys and a homeless man helped him. When he made it back to Richard's days later, Richard stepped up and got a doctor to look at his serious injuries. Their friendship bond grew and later the guys were hooked on each other. A few things happened at the Club, and Tyler found out how Richard had helped the homeless man.

Love blossomed from their time together and neither wanted it to end. Realizations were made, inner thoughts sorted, and hope emerged. Their sexy times are intense and wonderful, and escalate to awesomeness.

We get marvelous characters and a unique tale of reformation. Thank you E. M. Leya !
Highly recommended ! ENJOY !

I really did not want to read Tyler's book, I'm from Angel's team and I was not willing to forgive Tyler .... I only came to Chapter 3 with that thought ... the book as always excellent, Tyler deserved a second chance , We all really deserve a second chance and I think this book series is about that.... second chances .... really the author achievement redeem a complicated character to redeem....

I liked this one a lot better than the last few, but it still lacked something for me. I liked the beginning and the middle, but the end there kind of felt rushed. This one also wasn't nearly as long as the others.

I liked how open and honest Tyler and Richard were with each other. That's rare and I found it quite refreshing. You can say Tyler wasn't honest, but he never lied to Richard. He just didn't tell him the entire truth. But, once Richard found out it was like he wouldn't shut up. Then again, I got annoyed at Richard for being up Art all the time, too. Maybe I wanted both of them to shut up ;)

Overall, I kind of wished we hadn't met Tyler in Matt and Angel's book. I didn't like Tyler right off the bat, because he was an asshole to Matt.

Best of the series

I have loved each Rags and Riches book and this on is my favourite so far. We first met Tyler in Inked, a horrible abusive man that it was hard to like. After serving time in jail Tyler leaves homeless but determined to start a new life away from the drugs that ruined his life. Life on the streets is hard and he struggles to get out but has hope.

Richard lives a half life following the death of his partner. Not looking for love he lives for his work and his bike. When a trip on his bike ends before it begins with a broken down bike, Richard meets a man who offers to help. The two men agree to a one night stand but circumstances mean Richard and Tyler start to develop a friendship which if they both allow could become something special. This book is a fantastic read.

Redemption romance is a sweet read

So Tyler the arse who made Angel's life Hell a few books previously gets his redemption story.

It's actually a sweet read with Tyler hitting the absolute Rick bottom but knowing he has to get his act in gear and start over. He's gotten clean after a three month jail sentence and he struggles with being homeless.

A chance meeting with gym owner Richard leads to a night of hot and heavy sex but there's also a spark of something more.

I liked how Tyler fought to be a better person, how he owned up to his mistakes and was determined not to repeat them and Richard provided a solid foundation for him to recover.

There wasn't as much involvement with the homeless shelter in this one but the on going series has been a set of nice easy reads.

This was my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. A few days have passed and I'm still remembering how good Tyler and Richard were together. Tyler was ready to try to make improvements in his life after being thrown I jail for fighting and his drug us. On coming out into the real world again however he found himself alone in the world, broke and homeless. No matter what he tried he couldn't get ahead. Then he got. A good break when a chance encounter with Richard and it took off. I really loved Richard and how giving he was and supportive of Tyler. I think I'll go back and read some of the previous stories in this series.

Wow!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I didn't think I'd like this one as much as I did. After what Tyler did I couldn't see how he could be redeemed. It all came down to perspective. When we first met Tyler it was from Matt's side. Getting Tyler's view and the back story really changed things, especially adding how he is now and his feelings. The author did a great job getting us to feel compassionate about him and his plight. How can she possibly too this??

Can be read as a standalone!
Yay the asshole is redeems!
I really enjoy this one.
It takes time, both characters grow through the story, not every thing is that easy, there is not so much communication like the others. Love it!

my rating is not based on the story--it's book 9: you know what you're getting into. my problem is with the spelling/grammar errors and random underlined words!! it's so irritating it actually distracts from the story. a simple proofread would help!!!

brilliant

I really liked this book. I am glad Tyler learnt from his mistakes and finally found happiness . I absolutely fell in love with Richard and how he looked after Tyler and never judge only supported. I wished this book was longer and the epilogue was more detailed
