Need more Red Velvet and these hot Cowboys!
Hammered was like whoa! This 4th instalment of the Red Velvet Series is funnier, more intriguing, addicting and hotter as we get to know more and more these great characters. Leanore did an amazing job writing these full of personality characters that keep you engaged and easy to follow. I love these strong women and their protective and take charge men!
In Hammered, Kanda gets to see what other firsts she can experience with her Aussie cowboy; Trevor shows Bren he's all she's ever going to need; Daisy can't run or hide from Mr I won't take no for an answer; and Travis comes back in the picture getting his ego knocked down a few notches, meeting his match with Maggie Monroe.
I can't wait for Triple Velvet! Leanore just keeps you on edge with this must read series. Must read the first three books in the series before you read Hammered.

Where's the Beef? Right here in Flatonia, Texas! So much yummy man candy had me craving a big ol' piece of meat to gnaw on! From Daisy to Bren, Kanda to Maggie the brief look into their lives was way too short! I was left with wet panties and wanting. Maggie has no idea what is in store for her and I will gladly take her place! Love the kisses on the cover- cracks me up as I remember how all those kisses came about. I can't wait to read the next book and jump back in the saddle with all these hot, sexy beefcakes.

Wham, Bam, and thank you M'AAM (Ms. Elliott)! This is a quick, sexy, read that takes us between two ranches where one is a real working ranch and the other a stud ranch...HELLO, did you hear me?....A stud ranch! Twin cowboy brothers, their sister, and all of their families and loves are all in this story and we follow them on their adventures. Love the heat and love to see Travis meeting his match...maybe? lol. The heat is off the charts and mixed in with some funny moments. Really enjoyed this quick read!

I feel like these books just get better each time,I just love the characters and what a hoot to meet Rand and Maggie they are fantastic! The only thing I would say I want more of in these books would be if there was some more substance to the story as in the world outside of each couple together like the running of the ranch, working etc so you got the full picture of their lives. I can not wait to see what happens in the next book!

I absolutely loved this book. a great read with four different plots that are all related. Bren finds her cowboy and the relationship is going strong even with everything else that is happening around them. Maggie, Bren's sister, meets Travis and can't get him out of her head. Kanda has fallen head over heels for Wade. Daisy's, Bren's mom, first true love shows back up wanting to get married. So many things happening with the four pairs but easy to follow along.

so this Cast of characters continue in hammered. Really loving Maggie and Travis's Dynamic. The humor is still spot-on. For a quick entertaining read... Get these stories. I would have given four stars if there was just a bit more substance I think to the story. Or maybe if they just made one big book. this is my honest review for a book I volunteer to read

Okay!
This book was okay. But I loved all the characters. I kept getting so confused as to who was in what scene and who supposedly where. The book was okay if you can keep up. I just really don't know. You had to really stay up with the characters. You have to really stay up with the characters to realize where you were in the story. Okay book.

This is still getting funnier! I really like this and seeing Daisy speechless was hilarious! I so cannot wait to see what Maggie has in store for Travis because he may have met his match in Maggie.....Keep it coming up because it just keeps getting better and funnier!!

love, love, love, this serial, it keeps getting better and better, cannot wait for the nest one to come along! the characters are sassy and sexy and make you want to know what will come out of their mind and mouths next!

Loved this book. This is a funny, hot romance that keeps you reading until the end. Definitely recommend this book and this author.

I fell in love with the first book in this series, Double Plush. I've been hooked, line and sinker. Or as Kanda would say 'I'm hooked, gone, done, been trapped in a ring fence.'
It's not just about sweet Bren and Trevor, Kanda and Wade, or Daisy and Rand. Little Maggie has just found what she wanted, at least the cover. She has her hands full if she thinks she can change Travis' ways, Chicken Hawk and all! He's not 'just purty on the outside... just hotter than blue blazes with a blank slate on the inside,' as Maggie said and "looking at me like I'm something he's itching for, but doesn't have to scratch to get it." I love Maggie's sweet innocent side trying to out best a cowboy who always got his way. Travis stunned by anything, especially a woman, is pure comedy!
Honestly, this series lets me see so many amazing sides of amazing full figured women, who know what they want, can out wit anyone, and have a language filled with sass, comedy, and truth.
If you love BBW, Texas and Australian cowboys, women with wicked words, their men with wicked moves, you'll love this series, and it's not even done yet! I cried (happy tears), laughed, slapped my leg, grinned like a fool and I'm craving more!!! Thank you Leanore, you are utterly amazing!! I love you more than chocolate, and that's saying a lot. I will always be pushing you to write more of this series, a constant nag, a thorn to your side. A Plush Girl for life!!

The twins, Bren, and Maggie all return to Triple K, but not without Maggie first subjecting Travis to the women of the house who molest him and a hot cowboy smart girl war begins. Arriving gets a little weird since no one knows that Wade and Maggie are related. There's a rodeo type showdown where we learn Wade is more than a geologist.
Kanda and Wade return to the Triple K after Mama K finds them out. We learn that Wade is a geologist who is doing studies on the land even though Kanda has protested this bit in the past, Mama K went ahead with it anyway. Yet, K doesn't seem all that angry.

Hammered Velvet by Leanore Elliott is an entertaining read. This book is smokin' hot. The characters make me laugh.

Honestly this book was a little confusing to me and hard to keep up with. But when I went back and looked again at it then I was able to understand. Very hot stories between the two ranches. It will be interesting to see what happens with the weddings.
