I’m originally from a small southern town where everyone knew everyone and their business. I was so happy to leave and move to California for college where I was originally going to be a veterinarian. Well, I met a guy (yeah it’s that kind of story) and dropped out of school to have my oldest daughter. We soon divorced, and as therapy, I started to write.

I never did go back to college, and have been writing ever since. I love to write about sex. Lots of sex. Taboo sex, kinky sex, anything but missionary sex (unless the heroine is tied up tight 🙂 ) It’s probably something to do with my southern upbringing.

I hope you enjoy my stories and if you have any kinky stories, I’d love to hear about them.

I have to admit I was a little bit surprised when I read this book. The frustration Daniel was precious at best. The struggles that he had going on but didn't it all depends on how you read the book.
The type of book has been done a bunch but this author brings a new twist on an favorite.
I would however have liked to know more instead of the drop but it's what keeps books fresh I guess.

Hot and sexy

I'm not a fan of BDSM romance and all the weird relationship dynamics it involves.
But this is entertaining, at the least.

My favourite part of this story was Daniel's inner conflict.
He bends over backwards to please his mother, please everyone else, while making himself miserable.
It was easy to empathize with him. He's relatable in this aspect, and the most interesting character in the book.

I was drawn to this book because the blurb mentioned a fiancee. It isn't everyday you read romances where the male protagonist cheats.
I wanted to see how it would be handled by the author.
Turns out he had an arrangement with the fiancee, so she was well aware of his.. proclivities.

Another great book by Tasha Fawkes and M.S. Parker. They always write such passionate and intriguing stories. This story is told in dual POV-in both Daniel and Ashley's POV.
Ashley works for a publisher and is writing her own book, using her fantasies and her dreams and they all star her hot and sexy boss Daniel. Ashley is with someone but she really isn’t happy and wants to be with her boss but that isn’t possible.
Daniel is engaged and its only really an arranged type marriage. Daniel never wanted to get married but to make his mother happy; he is going ahead with the marriage to the woman she approves of and settling down.
Daniels happens to find Ashley’s naughty manuscript and that’s when things get heated and erotic. He offers some “help” in order to help her finish. Oh but it’s all naughty. What does Ashley do? Oh its delicious and wicked. Then we get to find out how far he would go and how dominant Daniel gets with Miss Ashley. This story is so erotic and so kinky. But Daniel gets an A in the bedroom but he gets an F for not being firm with his mom or for doing what’s right and honorable with Ashley… His mom and his nasty fiancée stand between these two getting happiness.
There are so many secrets and lies, so many twists and turns that take place in this story. I was rooting for the lovebirds to get their HEA. You will need to read what happens. If you like office romances, if you are into kink and dominance, then you will love this story.

Craving My Boss by M.S. Parker & Tasha Fawkes

An aspiring writer gets in touch with her naughty side. Of course Craving my Boss is sexy. It's meant to be. However, Ms. Fawkes and Ms. Parker go beyond the illicit and tell a tale that is honest and courageous. In the process of finding herself, Ashley manages to lose her heart and at times her dignity to hear alpha boss, Daniel. People do crazy things for love and this story shows how the power of lust can turn into love.

“Craving My Boss” is the story of Ashley, a young woman who works in the publishing industry, editing romance novels. She’s had a crush on her boss, the owner of the company, for some time, and like a lot of editors in her line of work, she’d like to become a published author. Her inspiration? Her boss, Daniel, of course. It’s a common enough trope, sure, but the characters aren’t exactly what readers of this genre might exact.

Ashley isn’t a virgin, nor totally innocent and wrapped up in her BFFs, shoes, wine, self-doubt and dismal body hang-ups. Sure, she has some inner dialog with doubts, but it’s not a constant steam of self-hatred like a lot of these books seem to be. That’s a nice change, I must say. Ashley is actually more confident and independent that she seems at first blush. I was kind of expecting there to be some push-back from her work friend, Tory, over breaking things off with her not-boyfriend, but that never materialized in any way. Not sure where that went, after all the build up at the beginning.

Daniel is an interesting male character, and a change or pace in a story like this. He’s still a Billionaire, still a Dom. But he’s going through the motions, just doing things to please his mother, and not really enjoying his life. He’s barely doing anything he really wants to do, which is unusual. He seems to crave control, but in ways that count the most, he has no control at all. He doesn’t seem to want anyone to be unhappy, but who’s worried about making HIM happy?

There are some odd editorial issues with swapping tenses (past tense verbs in present tense sentences, things like that) which trip up the reader from time to time, but the story is solid and the characters interesting. Daniel is flawed and sympathetic; Ashley is more independent and stronger than she first appears. By the end, they both become better versions of themselves, and stop settling for less than they want or deserve from life and from love. A fun, pleasant read, with hot chemistry that I was happy to review.

This book was amazing, these two authors together know how to create one hot story, from the plot to the characters and story development this book was flawless (my one complaint was the ending of the story, I really felt like we were left hanging and that there should have been a few more chapters tying everything up, but maybe that means we are getting a book two????)

Daniel (boss), Ashley (employee), Ashley has had a crush on Daniel for so long that she starts writing a story based on her attraction to him, and Daniel reads it and sees great potential in the story, with a little correction needed to the BDSM scenes, he decides there is only one way for Ashley to learn and that is with hands on experience. Wow when these two get together I had to stop reading and fan myself, but as with all good things there has to be a wrench thrown in there to mess it all up and that comes in the form of Karen, Daniels arranged marriage.

Secrets are never good and the ones that Daniel and Ashley keep are ones that could destroy the feelings that they are developing for one another.

I loved the blurb….taboo and BDSM made this move up to the top of my TBR.

The Good
So, the basic plot was good. I enjoyed the way Ashley’s fantasies came to life. Daniel was a pretty interesting character; torn between family obligations and his attraction to Ashley.

The Bad
Unfortunately, I couldn’t connect with the characters. Which I always wonder why people say that since I have read and reviewed nearly 700 books and have not experienced that. I went into this thinking I would 100% love it since I am a fan of BDSM and taboo reads, but I just could not make the connection as to why Ashley would agree to Mr. Stone’s plan. I don’t usually mind cheating in books so it wasn’t really that, but I think it was the way Daniel was so soft in his family life, but then was supposed to be a Dom to Ashley….and yes she had been fantasizing about him, but I didn’t feel it.

Hero 3 stars / Heroine 3 / Steam 4 stars / Plot 4 stars / Overall 3.5 Stars

Ashley’s boss, Daniel Stone, discovers the book she’s been secretly working on and offers to not only publish it, but help her fix it’s inaccuracies too, so long as she’s willing to play his Submissive, that is.

Well as you can expect from a BDSM themed novel, it’s pretty much sexy time from start to finish. While the scenes are hot, they are particularly tame, so if you’re looking for a book about the darker side of BDSM then you’ll be a little disappointed. But if you’re looking for a book to introduce you to the BDSM world then this one may be for you, as you can learn along with Ashley. She may be writing about the subject but she’s never experienced it. While Ashley is aware that he will play with others and that their relationship isn’t exclusive, he keeps a truth from her that ultimately compromises her morals. I really didn’t like that part if I’m honest. I’m not keen on stories where people cheat on others and while he technically wasn’t doing that, it kind of felt that way to me. Still, it was an easy read, even if the ending was a little abrupt. Happy reading.

Good story boss and employee BDSM romance

This was a good read. I connected to the characters and could feel the bond growing. It's a book I would read again as well as try other books by this author.
Overview. Ashley is an editor of a small independent publishing company. She started writing her own BDSM book. The book is based on her and her boss. Ashley is not in a serious relationship just a friends with benefits. When the friend pulls some bad moves in front of her boss. Her boss Daniel, decides to read her novel before she comes into the office and he is hooked into her writing. Not just because it's about him but also about BDSM and his lifestyle. Daniel decides to teach Ashley about the lifestyle. But soon Daniel finds his feeling change not just for his fiancé but also Ashley. Now he wants Ashley and ends his engagement. But someone gets jealous and Daniel is put in a bad spot again. Will he choose love or let the past rule over him?

This book is based around a woman, Ashley, and her boss, Daniel. Daniel owns the publishing house where she edits books. Ashley is writing a book about BDSM. At the office Christmas party one of Ashley’s friends has to much to drink and accidentally makes Ashley tear her dress down the front. Daniel was getting off the elevator and saw her. Daniel offers to teach her about BDSM to help her be more accurate in her book. The story really begins to get juicy here.
The story has BDSM, hot sexy scenes, confusion, choices, manipulations, sadness, feelings, and love.
MS Parker and Tasha Fawkes haven once again taken their story line and built it and the characters until they mesh. I know you will enjoy this story of finding out if you are really into BDSM. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

While I did really enjoy this book, it wasn't my absolute favorite. Books that focus on a Dom/Sub relationship aren't exactly my thing. This definitely wasn't like some other books that take, to me, the Dom/Sub thing a little too far. It was fairly tastefully written. Another thing that made it a little difficult to enjoy the book was Daniel being engaged and basically cheating on his fiancée, all because it was an arrangement. It made me not ate for him even though I understood that him and his fiancée weren't in love with each other. Lastly, I wanted more from the ending. I guess I wanted to have them come to some kind of understanding of how their relationship would work from then on. Overall though it was still a pretty good read.

Good read

A fairly generic romance with some bdsm thrown in. Daniel is a very connected very wealthy man who has particular tastes when it comes to sex, he is in a forced relationship to please his mother but has nothing at all in common with his fiancee, he owns a publishing company that he enjoys running. Ashley is an editor who works for him, she is an aspiring writer who has a total crush on her boss. He accidentally comes across her manuscript where she has characters engaged in the bdsm lifestyle, her characters resemble him and her. Daniel being a Dom decides to teach her about the life they soon find their attraction is about more than just the lifestyle. Can they overcome all the problems that are thrown their way, their feelings won't allow them not too. An enjoyable read with a few quirks along the way.

Daniel is a complicated man, he is dominate by nature, but let his mother dictate his fiancée (Karen), now he is intrigued by Ashley (who works for him) when he read a manuscript she is writing and he is sure that he can help her make it better (and he is willing to demonstrate it for her). Ashley has lots to learn to from her boss, but she already is half in love with him, so it's looking likely she might lose her heart. I enjoyed the play of the characters off one another, the hot hot loving, and the big stir of emotions it gave me. I didn't like his fiancée (Karen), but sometimes a story is better if there is someone to dislike.

3.5 Stars. This is my first book from Tasha Fawkes, and I must say I really like the way she writes. she keeps the reader very engaged, even though the characters are questionable. I enjoyed the overall plot of the book, I just had problems with Daniel's character. I'm not a cheater type of reader, so that didn't particularly set right with me, but with such a strong Dom like Daniel, him putting up with his mother's plans for him was a bit unbelievable. Ashley's character was interesting, but the agreement she made with Daniel was a but surprising given he was the CEO of the company. This had alot of Fifty Shades references for me, but still an enjoyable read.

Daniel and Ashley

Daniel is a man at a crossroads. He is engaged to a woman he can’t stand. He’s a dominant man and wishes to live that sexual life with a woman who wants the same. As the head of a publishing company his editorial assistant Ashley is the perfect find and he can’t wait to be her dom. After perusing her manuscript he discovered that she had a crush on him. So he introduces her to the kinky side of the fence.
I gave this four stars because Daniel was not intense enough to be dominant. He came across as bossy but not intense. There wasn’t enough sexual tension between them. His feelings about his fiancé Karen came across with more emotional clarity than his dominant nature. Good story though.

Oh my gosh, what a book! I've never read anything by Tasha Fawkes, but I knew if M.S. Parker was involved it would be awesome and it was! This is such a different, creative and very hot story!

Ashley has been writing a story that is secretly about her boss that she has a crush on. He gets a hold of her story offers to publish it! She's hopeful but he has a stipulation on the work that the manuscript needs. The stipulation is HE wants to be the one to teach her the BDSM part that her story lacks. LOVE IT!

What a great story! It was so different!! I read a lot and I love when a different one comes across my kindle!

Wowzers! What a great story! I love how Ashley tries her hand at writing a D/s themed novel. Her boss, Daniel, spots her laptop open & sends her transcript to his email so he can read the whole story without her knowing he did this. As Daniel has the "hands-on" expertise in D/s field, he convinces Ashley to be the student & he would show her where her weak areas are in her transcript. With his lessons, she learns to listen to her emotions & feelings so as to better complete her transcript with conviction & authenticity. Definitely an erotic, hot sexy scenes. A must-read novel.

I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

Awesome book!!!!!

Craving my Boss by Tasha Fawkes and MS Parker is book an awesome 5 star read. In the story we meet Ashley and Daniel. Daniel being the boss at a publishing company where Ashley works. What started off as the boss trying to help out an employee turns into a roller coaster of a ride. We see how he helps her by showing her what a Dom/sub relationship entails. While being the teacher we see how he starts to see Ashley in a different light. I liked that this book wasn't overly bdsm. We actually got a love story out of it. Awesome book!!!!

This book was a delight to read, and I didn't want to setup once I started. It follows an assistant editor at a publishing house whom secretly is writing her first novel. Said novel happens to be about BDSM, which the female lag had no actual experience with. When her boss starts reading it, he offers to train get to be a submissive.

I can't honestly give this book 5 stars because it does have cheating in it, which I'm not a fan of. The writing is exceptional, and the explanations of the BDSM lifestyle are almost spot on.

Pleaser note that I did receive a free chippy of this book.

3.5 Stars

It felt like the storyline was a bit rushed. I liked the characters and their stories, but I think that the story would have been better if it was expanded more. I want to know more about what happens to go from point A to point B, instead of just the bullet points. That being said, it was an enjoyable story of a female getting some hands on experience of dom/sub relationships. I was able to relate to Ashley, the female protagonist, and felt like I better understood BDSM. It was a good read that didn't take long to finish. Overall I would rate this 3.5 out of 5 stars.

This is a very very good book! I was up until 2am finishing it because I just could not put it down. Ashley is a very correlated character so it was impossible not to connect with her on some level. I normally do not even read books with BDSM elements but I pressed on through that part because she has a story to tell and it is a very spellbinding one at that. Daniel is a piece of work aka jerk, that’s putting it nicely, as well as he manages 2 businesses & the bedroom, he is a complete wimp when it comes to relationships with women. This is so well written that I didn’t want it to end.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Ashley works as an romance book editor at a publishing house and has a crush on her boss. When her boss finds the book on BDSM she has been secretly writing, he offers to 'instruct' her. Amazed that he a dom, she agrees when he tells her that she is not completely accurate in her portrayal of BDSM. Things progress and of course he has a fiance and a controlling mother. Lots of drama and hot bedroom action, but no spoiler. Except you are left hanging so maybe there's another book in the works.

Easy read lot of cliches but insightful

Woman lines for her boss. Writes an erotic story about him. He reads it. They sleep together. She understands him like no other ..leaves his fiancee to be with her..

This book has that cliche theme...however what caused me to give it a high rating was the way the author described the bdsm lifestyle. She took it beyond the sex but the emotional side of what needs to be present to really teach a sub and be a good Dom was present ..I think the author really captured an often overlooked aspect of the lifestyle

M. S. Parker and Tasha Fawkes once again captivate their audience from page one. Craving My Boss, was a hot and very sexy story about Ashley a virgin writing a story based on her and her boss. She wants to find out what the BDSM world is all about. Then there is Daniel her very sexy boss who is all to willing to introduce that world to her. But what happens when not once but twice he walks away from their arraignment for another woman?

I voluntarily reviewed and ARC of this book for an honest review. Good read. Story was different from others I read. The character's worked well together. Ashley, a young woman working in a publishing house and Daniel the millionaire that owns it. She is working on a manual script of her own and he finds it. She was writing romance with BDSM. Daniel, who is a Dom, finds somethings wrong with her story, he decides she needs to understand what she is writing about.

Good read!

All I can say is never allow yourself to lose yourself pleasing others. Daniel had to find that out on his own. It's ok to please others just voice your limits. It's never good to keep them inside. Karen is a piece of work. She seemed too desperate to hold on to someone who doesn't want not love her. Good luck next time Karen. In the beginning Ashley didn't seem like she knew what she wanted. I'm glad to know that she figured it out towards the end.

I needed more of this story because I wanted to see more of the process where the characters connect, bond and fall for each other. This book is naughty and I liked that by really paying attention to his employee, the boss could finally break free of a life he did not want, in the wrong kind of chains and with the wrong kind of woman. Instead of settling, he decided to take some control and satisfy himself.

I had way too much hope

Started out interestingly enough. Stewart served as comic relief and so did Ashley for that matter. I never felt involved in this story like similar ones. The book ends and I still don't know anything more about Ashley and Daniel's relationship and future. Just seemed like sex and a whole lotta psycho drama. I could do without. Bang? WTH Seriously disappointing.
