FIVE full-length stand alone novels (1,400 pages total), each telling the story of a different member of the MC. There is no cheating, no sex outside the relationship, no abuse of women, and always an HEA with no cliffhanger. These STEAMY contemporary romance novels are not the typical MC Romance. These are MC Romance novels written by an author who has ridden in an MC (yes, he's a romantic at heart). These novels are fast-paced, filled with humor, and smoking hot.

This series gave me a book hangover and I'm just now recovering...
Oh wow...where to begin? This series was recommended to me by a (non GR member ) & (lover of romance) co-worker. She said I would love this series and I guess she knows me well because I binged on the 5 novels in this boxed set (Hard, Rough, Dirty, Rigid, and Nuts) in under a week (I can't remember the last time I did that...except maybe it was when I discovered the BDB series..?) and couldn't get enough so I read the 6th book (Thick) as well. What can I say--I was so engrossed in this unusual MC series that when I was done I couldn't think about reading anything else. This author just about ruined me!
Now I must admit, when I found out that this series was written by a man...I was just a wee bit hesitant. A man writing romance? How is he going to write the female pov? But wait a minute. We enjoy female authors writing the male pov, so maybe I should give him a chance? So so soooooo glad that I did! Although, it did take some getting used to. Not reading the female pov (which was quite good--his female characters are all strong women who have been through some tough experiences), but how graphic and violent the first book (especially) was. I mean, the guys in this outlaw MC do some bad things, but it's all for the greater good. I was okay with that. But I wasn't quite prepared to actually read the gory details. Eek!
Anyhow, I could go on in detail about each book in this fantastic series, but I won't . I haven't read too many MC books (right now only Joanna Wylde's Reapers series comes to mind as being a favorite) so I don't have much to compare it with. However, it is rare for me to get so fixated on a series that when I'm done reading it, I don't want to even think about reading anything else. That's how it was for me. I felt totally immersed in the fantastic storytelling of Scott Hildreth, the complex characters that he created, the beautiful, smoking hot love scenes of all the couples, and the raw, gritty real feeling of the plotlines.
I can't recommend this series enough. If you're like me, you'll fall in love with each of these stories, and you'll appreciate the uniqueness that this author brings to the table. 5 highly recommended stars1
All five Filthy Fuckers Books in one place, and for only $2.99. A must read if there ever was one. I gave all five of these books 5 stars (as individual reads). Collectively, they have roughly 4,000 Goodreads reviews, and a 4.5 star average. That, in itself, speaks volumes of the quality of this author's writing in these books.
HARD - Club president meets mouthy thrill-seeking reporter while she is writing an article on his MC. ROUGH - Club Sergeant-at-Arms falls for his father's nurse. DIRTY - Club protector falls for a girl 10 years his junior, only to find out that she's the daughter of his old sweetheart. RIGID - Patched member of the club is a HOT SINLGE DAD who puts his daughter first, always. NUTS- Club joker gets to know the girl next door in this slow-burn romance that is not to be missed.
Each book is different, gritty, raw, and emotional. There is no cheating, no club whores, and no sex outside the relationship. I found all of this a refreshing change.
5 stars, and worth far more that the 60 cents per book of this sale price!
Hands down one of my top 3 favorite series. If you haven't read them this is a great deal.
HARD When's the last time a Scott Hildreth book made me cry? Never until now. We all knew Hard was going to be just that, and once again the author didn't disappoint. Peyton is probably one of my favorite female characters ever. She's strong, opinionated and a little nuts, I'm pretty sure she an I could be best friends were she real. She's a reporter, given the job of writing a story on the Filthy F*ckers president Nicholas Nevarro. This assignment is going to be the best and worst thing that ever happened to her. While this book is about the MC and we do get acquainted with a few members, the MC side is sort of woven into Payton's story. Her story gets pretty dark, and yes there are triggers so please read the warnings prior to reading this book. I personally can say that it did not trigger me, it was handled shall we say with kid gloves, was well written and not graphic. I found myself seeing similarities in her way of dealing with it but it didn't bother me or make me break down. I didn't even put the book down and come back to it, I read right on through without any issue. Thank you Scott for the way you handled this aspect of the story, you made it so I didn't have to miss out on a great book just because it may bring up things I don't want to relive.
Nick and Payton are great characters, her mouth is probably one of my favorite parts of the book, she just can't stop the snarky replies and it makes for a fun read. And Peebee, I think I might have fell in love with him, more like tripped an face planted. What he did for Payton is beyond anything I'd expected and made me respect and adore him and I hope he has a book coming soon. I love it when a secondary character can steal my heart!
Hard is another hit for Hildreth. From the cover to the dedication to the very last page, which is amazing by the way, Hard pulled me into Payton's world an then into Nick's and kept me glued and losing sleep because I just could not put it down.
ROUGH Oh my God, if I thought I loved Scott Hildreth's heroines before I was wrong, Tegan just jumped to the top of the list of badass chicks. Her first meeting with Pee Bee is a complete disaster, she destroys his bike and he's not thrilled with her. She has no money to pay him but quickly finds a well paying job that should quickly remedy that. Until she knocks on the door an comes face to face with the man himself. This doesn't go well, he doesn't want her taking care of his father and has no issues telling her so. He's got a very low opinion of her which she quickly remedies. (This is truly my favorite part of this book!) Tegan is pretty laid back. She's the opposite of Pee Bee in most ways, she doesn't curse and every other word out of his mouth is filthy, she doesn't date bikers and that's what he is so when their attraction becomes clear there are some things to work through. Luckily Lex is pretty accepting of people just as they are so she doesn't expect him to be someone he's not but she also won't be someone she's not so if you want her you take her as she is, quick witted snarky mouth an all. These two are at each others throats more than not and it's enjoyable as hell to read. I absolutely love these two together, I'm pretty sure they may be my favorite couple yet. And the evolution of Pee Bee. That was pretty amazing to watch. Seeing him grow basically and become a man, well a real man under his father's guidance. That's my second favorite part of this book.
Rough is a bit of a lighter story than Hard was, yea Tegan has a past but it's not as dark as Peyton's. She really doesn't have anything to get over other than her distrust of bikers. She's completely amazing from her ability to cut a man down with her words to her spider monkey routine. The end broke my heart but I knew it was coming so it wasn't exactly a shock but I did cry during the last chapter or two damn you Scott Hildreth, that's twice now.
Best couple yet, well in this series at least. These two will be hard to top!
DIRTY Scott Hildreth has a talent for giving readers real characters, characters you can connect with on an emotional level and at times his characters struggles will mirror your own. No matter what the subject matter, how dark or evil it may be, I easily find myself wrapped up in the story fairly quickly and unable to put the books down. Another thing that pulls me towards the authors work are the heroines, yes he writes some of the sexiest alpha males with the filthiest mouths you'll read about but it's the strength of the females that I always recall. Some of his heroines have been to hell an back but they made it through and they come out stronger with or without the help of others. That brings me to Lex. After being kidnapped and going through some horrific shit she comes out of it pretty quickly figuring out that she's got to work through the ordeal to move on. She refuses to let it define her or ruin her life. It doesn't hurt that she soon finds the man who saved her is willing to spend time with her, something that helps her get to her new normal. Cholo's a badass. He's big and can be mean but he's also shy and reserved, at least he is with Lex. He sees how strong she is and while spending time with her he starts to have feelings, something he's never experienced with a woman before. He's patient. He's by her side but never pushing, he's what she needs when she needs it but it all moves along slowly and smoothly at her pace.
And yes, there's plenty of MC stuff going on as well (specifically my boy Peebee spends a good bit of time in this one thank you SD) you still get your Filthy Fucker's, a little backstabbing and action thrown in. I liked seeing so much of the other guys in this one an not just in a club capacity, their lives outside the club, working etc. Once again I have not a bad word to say about this authors work, he continues to produce story after story that I can't put down.
RIGID How in the hell do these books keep getting better? Not just these books but this entire series is kind of outdoing most of the previous ones (almost) The characters, their stories, their struggles and that oh so loved possessive, protective alpha badass just keeps getting better with each new Hildreth book I open.
Smokey is so different from other characters, being a single father who refuses to bring a woman into his daughters life made me smile. His reasons may have been a teeny bit biased but he was being a good dad and it certainly didn't hurt his girl one little bit. I loved how he handled situations, none of that flipping out and biting Sandy's head off. He took everything in stride, recognized what needed to be done and did it. He thinks before he acts, which I assume his raising a child on his own has made him that way, different than most of his brothers. An Sandy, she's pretty awesome. She's almost a minor character to me as she's easy going, easy to understand, you know how she's going to react/handle things. Not that she's not a great chick or important part of this book, she's just uncomplicated where Smokey has something about him that makes you want to pay closer attention to him and his behavior.
Nick & Peyton were awesome, PeeBee & Tegan were effing amazing, Cholo & Lex easily meant to be from the word go. Smokey & Sandy, their story was so far from the rest it almost tops every Scott Hildreth book I've read.
NUTS Once again Scott Hildreth has outdone himself. I've read every book in this series and have come to realize you just never know what your going to get. Each of these guys may seem like a typical badass biker, screwing their way through clubhouse whores without a care in the world but you'll soon learn that each and every one of them have something special about them. It may be something be it dark or just tragic that made them the men they are, led them to the MC or it may just be loneliness, the need for a close knit group of brothers to make him feel whole. Either way you don't know what your going to get other than one amazing read. Nuts is Percy “P-Nut” Larsen's story, and yes he's a bit nuts. He's also amazing. He like most people has reasons why he keeps to himself, secrets that aren't pretty. He's strong, protective and exactly the kind of neighbor I want. He doesn't trust easy, doesn't openly show emotion to anyone other than his mom (which he takes such good care of, another huge selling point for this man!!) he's a protector at his core and his neighbor is about to send that instinct into overdrive. Joey has watched him for years. He moved in with his loud bike 7 years ago and she hasn't been able to stop watching him. They became easy friends and eventually as she got older she saw him as more than a friend, realized she was attracted to him even though he'd never see the girl in oversize baggy clothes as anything but the little girl next door. So instead she enjoys every moment in his presence keeping her attraction to herself. Then the day comes that she's the one who needs defending and P-Nut is the man for the job. He changes her life in ways she never expected, a freedom, a confidence she's never experienced is now hers thanks to the only man who's ever been this close. She's changing him as well. All the things he never thought he'd have, never expected he'd want again yet he does. These two are amazing characters, both having experienced their own pain or tragedy yet being strong enough to soldier on and make a new life for themselves. Two of a kind, both with huge hearts and strong will make them one of my favorite couples. We all know I love a protective man and a strong heroine, I can't stomach whiny broken women who refuse to even attempt to stand up for themselves and Joey is so not that woman. She's been through hell but she's moving on, taking zero shit and giving zero f*&ks. 5 stars.
I am usually not big on MC Romance. However, I have followed this author on Facebook and have read nothing but great things. I am now a fan and will own every single book from this author! MC Romance usually is all the same copy cat boring and bland. I am so glad that I read his first 5 books in this series! I laughed, cried, swooned and my kindle definitely got a little steamy. Each book is different from the first and can be read separately but you will appreciate it more if you start from the beginning. So far, I can't pick a favorite character because each are so individually wonderful. One of the best compliments is that this author doesn't make women weak . As a survivor of domestic violence, one of the biggest insults is being made into being into a victim. Epically done! Looking for a good hot read that's not all hearts and flowers that still has that HEA, you have to read these books! FLOVED!
I have to say that I'm super surprised with this book. Not that I discriminate against male romance authors but all the romance books I have read from male authors usually fall short and I tend to DNF. I feel that they don't get the female grasp on our emotions. That being said. I felt like I was in both the head of a female and male's mind for all the characters. I loved 4 or the books and liked one. Amazing. I binge read them all in 3 days. I could have finished in 2 but I had some errands to run and some sleep to catch up on.
I usually don't cry when I read books but these books had my emotions everywhere. I LOL, cried, got upset and excited. It was just one of the best reads I had in a long time. Scott has just made his way into my must read authors and that's saying something since I only have a few of those.
This is one hell of a series. Fall in love with the guys from Filthy f(_)ckers MC while they fall in love with an amazing group of one of a kind women. These guys will leave you wet and wanting more. I have to say that P-Nut is my favorite FF of all.
Once again my love for MC novels made me hesitant to pick up this series. Since I am very particular about my MC books/stories, I was worried that I was going to be disappointed or let down. Everything I have heard about these books had nothing to do with the story and EVERYTHING to do with the sex scenes and I wanted more than just a book full of sex. Thankfully, this series provided!
Filthy is the the first 5 novels of the Biker MC Romance Series, previous the Filthy F***ers, and they are BY FAR the best MC books I have ever read. With each story, we are introduced to a new member of the club, we get to learn about their deep, dark secrets and why they joined the club in the first place. We get to learn about their beliefs and their morals, and we basically get an inside look into why they are the way they are. To top it off, we get to watch as they meet someone who completely catches them off guard and they fall in love.
The type of love in these books aren't your typical hearts and flowers you see in a lot of romance novels. It's the type of love that leaves you raw and exposed, where you find that one person you are willing to do absolutely anything for, up to and including giving up your own life. The women we meet in this series all have their own problems, their own weaknesses and quirks, but they are strong in their own right and it's amazing to see how they manage to completely turn the lives of these bikers upside down.
Earlier I said that I didn't like it when books focused solely on the sex, that's true. Yes, there are sex scenes in this book but they are not overdone or overplayed. They are definitely hot and steamy, sometimes making it so you need to take a small break just to cool yourself off, but they are not the basis of the entire story. In fact, they accent the rest of the stories fairly well and I felt that these books were very well written and well thought out.
Note: These books are very descriptive. There is violence, sex, and a whole lot of curse words. If you don't like that in your books then these are not for you. But, if you are like me, then you will love them as much as I do. I can't wait to get into THICK, the sixth in this series. However, my adult responsibilities are preventing me from doing so just yet.
I absolutely LOVED this series and I will most definitely be reading it again! 5 out of 5 stars!
I just found my new fav author. No, I wasn't EXACTLY describing the author but the characters have such a quirky tongue-in-cheek relationship with each other you just want to race over to the MC compound and have beer and a bbq with the guys.
Listen, all I do all day is read and doodle, the doodling bit is neither here nor there. If I read under a book a day I'm slack'n...so when I say, for this genre, you will not find a writer come close to the talent Scott Hildreth has, you can bet your sweet bottom I would not steer you wrong. Enjoy!
I have read all 5 books and loved them. This is such a DEAL. Usually you pay more for just one. Each book is better than the one before it and you don't have to wait to read the next. The author is a master at story line and character development; his dialog is stellar. AND you don't miss out on the awesome covers--they are included too. Just click it while you can.
I was addicted from the first book, didn’t think I would enjoy a MC series this much. I literally couldn’t put it down. It was like an emotional roller coaster, I laughed a lot, cried at some points and was on the edge of me seat during some. I loved being able to read the whole box set. DEFINITELY a must read! Look forward to reading more from Scott Hildreth. Happy reading!
What can I say other than I loved it way too much. This is one boxed set I will be cherishing for ever, it will be up there with all my favourites to admire and send longing looks too. Definite re-read as much as I can.
I have to start by fully admitting that I tried reading Scott Hildreth's books before, and did not like them at all, they were just not for me. However, I did like this set, and I am glad I stumbled upon it. It did leave me with questions though because it was not consistent in places and I am OCD like that when I read my books, especially books in a series. I'll list my questions at the end lol
Book 1 was ok, but not my favorite. It tells the story of Nick Navarro, aka Crip, President of the MC, and Peyton, reporter whit the local paper who got assigned to write a story about the MC. This book actually lays the foundation of the series, and even though it was my least favorite, it was enough to make me want to read the next one.
Book 2 was the story of Pee Bee and Teagan. I loved theirs. I loved how they met and how they ended up together. It was sweet and real all in one.
Book 3 was Cholo and Lexi's story. This one was a little bit more intense when're book 2 was a bit more lighthearted. I didn't like it as much as book 2, but I did like it.
Then we get to book 4 which tells us the story of Smokey and Sandy. I think this one was my favorite of them all. I loved Smokey's attitude toward everything he did, and I couldn't get enough of those two. It also got me all pumped up for P Nut's story...
And then we get to book 5, which is also the last book in the boxed set. P Nut and Joey. Well, I don't know if it was because I read all 5 books one after the other, but I had all these things jumping at me, and I was getting distracted and focusing on them instead of the story. From the previous book, I could not wait to find out more about P Nut's Goofy and Mickey tattoos. Because that's really goofy as hell and I couldn't wait to hear what was up with them LOL However, they did not get mentioned at all in P Nut's book 😕. Then, P Nut is worried that Joey is too young for him at 21 to his 30. Smokey tells him that Joey is Peyton's age. I thought Peyton was 24. Then, we are told that Joey had been living next door to P Nut for the last 8 years. But toward the end it says 7 years. Then Joey meets Eddie, Smokey's daughter, and she describes her as being petite and curvy. I thought Eddie was really tall, Smokey said she got his height, and skinny with big boobs. I'm telling you, stuff like that makes me crazy and, even though I loved their story, I did trip on these little details...
Overall though, I think it's really worth reading the entire set, especially for $2.99 for the entire thing. You can't beat that, no matter what.
I had a really hard time with all of these stories. I don't generally read MC books, but a girlfriend recommended it and it was cheap so I decided to give it a shot.
This is a very brief overview.
CONS: 1. The language made me uncomfortable. Yeah, these are alpha dudes, motorcycle dudes and there are criminal villain types, so they are going to talk to and about women using incredibly crude, crass, disrespectful language. I still don't like it. 2. The prevalence of assault, sexual assault and other violence seems excessive. I should have done more research, and the author's note at the beginning of the stories where he says "these are sexual situations where everyone involved is over 18" should have included "there is sexual assault and rape in this novel".
PROS: 1. The women are badass survivors, they own their sexuality with no apologies, and for the most part they use their words. 2. Once we got to the one-on-one scenes, where the h/h were interacting solely with each other and building their relationships, I really enjoyed the stories. The redemptions felt earned, and the characters eventually learned to communicate with and trust each other.
This is my first go round reading anything of Hildreth's. It definitely won't be my last. The passion, excitement, thrills, and emotional turmoil made this series an intriguing read. Each novel can be read as a standalone but work flow better when read together. The stories flow effortlessly and the characters are believable and evoke emotion. There's action, tears, heartbreak, violence, some good laughs and hot AF sex. Definitely looking forward to filling my Kindle with some more great books by Hildreth.
This series is a total 5+***** read. I'm a kindle unlimited member and have already read all the books in this series with my unlimited membership , but always have returned them. When I saw this series as a box set I bought it, just had to own it, good books I like to reread and these are worthy of owning and rereading. Scott Hildreth is a good read and so far I've read all his books and can't wait for his latest new releases, pure reading joy
The series balances the gritty, dirty with the loyalty, respect and family of a motorcycle club. Dark romance novels usually make me feel darker because that is what it is. After reading this series I felt like a better person and I have never been able to say that about a romance I read.
The lifestyle is not for everyone. Hildreth peels back the curtain and exposes the life with honesty, passion and integrity, bringing Good character and deep moral convictions to a marginalized community of decent but misunderstood folks. An excellent read. Thank you for this.
Loved this entire boxed set about the Filthy Fuckers MC. Loved each book and each character that the book was about. Totally recommend it !!! If you need to read a great MC series, you need to read this collection 🔥❤️🔥
My favourite MC books are The Last Riders and this set of novels equals The Last Riders. The characters were brilliant and the stories had some really laugh out loud moments. These novels had it all.violence, sex and humour
This Isn’t your average MC book. It’s more about two people finding trust in each other. Smudge will win you over from page 1. PNut we’ve met in earlier books in this series. I have to admit I love his sense of justice.
5 Stars for every book in this box set. I couldn't stop reading until I finished the set. Will admit it became a bit samey towards the end but not enough to stop me from finishing. Great read
