Mostly nostalgic but enjoyed this book. Although the stories got a bit repetitive.

Sgt. Rock made me. Through him and the adventures of his crew of grunts I learned to read English, immerse myself in World War II, and picked up the name "bulldozer" from my grammar school buddies. This was in the early Seventies when everyone, myself included, wanted an end to the Viet Nam War and at the same time needed heroes to worship from a "good war". Please, somebody, find me a GOODREADS REFERENCE to Rock's comic companions, The Unknown Soldier and Ghost Tank.
