My 6-year-old son, who is very into Hot Wheels, was excited to read this independently while his 4-year-old sibling listened. It's easy to read. I liked that I really didn't know which vehicle would win until the end.

It was a little too simple and a bit broken in the flow of the words. I almost thing it may be insulting to kids as it reads like the author thought they were stupid. There are better starter books out there.
