Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.
Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).
Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.
And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

The Mystery Man series is actually made up of 4 books, with the fourth -Motorcycle Man- turning into book 1 of a spin-off series called Chaos. So yeah, reading about these interesting characters from one book to another is pretty great and I have to admit something I really like in books. (I guess what I should really say is I adore a good series). You’ll also get snippets of characters from the Rock Chick series, which I absolutely love!
That said, the individual books all have their own stories and each one is a very good mix of laugh out loud scenes, devastating heartbreak and awww moments. Each character stays with you, especially as they pop up in the next books and provide peeks at how their lives are going.

Tutti i tre romanzi mi hanno fatta emozionare, ho riso e pianto con i protagonisti, ci sono stati dei colpi di scena che io sinceramente all'inizio di ogni racconto non avrei immaginato. Ti lasciano letteralmente con il fiato sospeso, storie pazzesche io lo rillegerei milioni di volte da quanto è scritto in modo perfetto, e se siete amanti dei poliziotti sexy beh questo libro vi lascia dentro dei manzi doc😂😂😂.

A friend of mine loves this series. I personally couldn't get into the male lead's mindset and the bland vocabulary.

Book one Mystery Man (Hawk and Gwen)
I loved this book, I can't remember meeting Hawk in previous books I've read but I loved learning about him n his boys. it's hilarious and sexy but also very frustrating with the way Gwen n Hawk felt early with change of play. Love Lee and badasses getting involved with story. Great story n sexy biker guys, sexy commando, sexy badasses. Loved every word. Great HEA and like always fantastic ending.
Book two Wild Man (Brock and Tessa)
After Gwen's story I was not a fan of Brock. This story start straight away no build up jump right into the relationship between Tessa and Brock but at the time Tessa knows Brock as Jake and his undercover again for DEA. Well I didn't like the way Brock was with Gwen and him being undercover so I really really didn't like him playing Tessa for info. This story has drama but very rarely between Tessa n Brock so I quickly started to like the way Brock courted if not a better word Tessa. I didn't like all the swearing in front of kids I know it's trivial and I myself swear a lot but not in front of kids so through them parts I did find myself with a motherly scorn look on my face lol. This story is great feel to it, slower but funny and sweet. Great ending not as big epilogue but still as always best HEA
Book Three Law Man (Mara and Mitch)
I struggled with this story because of Mara way of seeing world and she scoring system. For Mara she didn't think her n Mitch were perfect for each other and that she wasn't good enough for him.
I loved kids they made up for Mara thinking and her always putting downer on her relationship with Mitch. Billy is strong protecter and best big brother Billie could ever have. Billie is sugar sweet and both gets to her shiny bubble world she lives in.
The story was good but ending epilogue and HEA made up for it. It even made me cry. Old characters came in briefly and I can't wait for Tack to fall

March 17, 2026È proprio vero che il mondo è bello perché è vario. Mi son detta: con un tomo solo mi tolgo lo sfizio. Peccato che non raggiungerò mai la fine di questo mappazzone di oltre mille pagine. Leggo un quinto del primo romanzo e poi desisto e i motivi sono i seguenti. Nonostante la prosa di Kristen sia apprezzabile, la trama è falsamente rosa. In realtà è un libro umoristico. Forse surreale. Probabilmente paranormale. Nella mia mente semplice pensavo che la trilogia comprendesse tre uomini misteriosi. In realtà non è così. C’è un uomo misterioso, in effetti, ma anche uno selvaggio e un uomo di legge. Dio solo sa perché la Newton ha tradotto “Mistery man”, “Wild man” e “Law man” in “Non dirmi di no”, “Dimmi che sei mio” e “Ti prego dimmi di sì”. Probabilmente sarebbero da denunciare. Ma la cosa che mi ha spiazzato non è che il primo romanzo verta sull’uomo misterioso, bensì che siano tutti onnipresenti già dall’inizio. In una sorta di fiera della figaggine, Gwen – la Lei del momento – ha a che fare con ben tre tipi sexy in una volta sola, della serie che ovunque si volti ne incontra uno. Chi è questa donna? Quale potere paranormale cela in sé per attrarre uomini alti, massicci e forzuti con desiderio di proteggerla? Non lo sappiamo. Sappiamo però, e questo fin dalla pagina numero uno, che questa tizia è ben diciotto mesi che si intrattiene nottetempo, con frequenza settimanale/bisettimanale, con un tizio misterioso che senza presentarsi le entra in casa di notte e non solo in casa. Lei fa come dicono i proverbi, ovvero si accontenta e gode. Perché l’uomo del mistero (in realtà un mix portoricano-italico-cubano) non solo se la zompa tranquillamente senza nemmeno dirle come si chiami, ma conosce anche i tizi numero due e numero tre, la sorveglia o la fa sorvegliare ed è al limite dello stalking. E tutto ciò per me è davvero troppo.
