Keaton never dreamed that he could fall so fast.

Vivian never imagined that she could fall… twice.

Vivian heads to the set of her first movie, determined to keep her promise to Matthew- even with Keaton in the director’s chair. Knowing the Round-Up Killer is still at large, the cast and crew try to do their job while worrying for their own safety.

Keaton struggles to keep Vivian close and respect the space that she’s asked for, but nothing prepares them for a frightening attack. The two find themselves stranded together in an isolated mountain cabin…

Left to the mercy of a killer.

Matthew refuses to rest until Vivian is safe, and Keaton’s family stands behind him in the search. The manhunt for the Round-Up Killer- and the abducted actress and director- makes national headlines. Their families struggle to cling to the hope that they will be found…

Alive.

For Vivian and Keaton, their love is threatened and their lives are at stake. Keaton will stop at nothing to protect the family that has always wanted…

No matter what the cost.

“Give us a chance, Vivian. Run to me.”

So far we have A.D.O.R.E.D this series! The dialogue, banter, romance, angst, passion, emotion and drama left us breathless not to mention our brand new…’be still our beating hearts’… book boyfriend left us swooooning! Seriously, Keaton Thorne is ‘the best!’. Yes, we’re ‘air quoting’ Keaton, so get over it buddy!

“It’s just a story, V. We all have a story.”

We received an email from a reader who told us to drop everything and read this book! She thought it was right up our ally and she was right! We ran the gauntlet of emotions; we laughed out loud, we welled up, did some serious swooning over Keaton, met a new author whose work we’re giddy over, and we loved every minute!

‘I thought of the collection of New Adult books that were lined up on my Kindle, wondering if his pulse was thundering and his dick was twitching.’

Kimberly Stedronsky told her story with a perfect balance of realism, passion, drama and humour which had us feverishly turning the pages. The expressive way in which she delivered the humour in this story ensured we read it with a huge smile on our faces as we feverishly devoured every word!

“You have too much time of your hands.”
“I have too much Vivian on my hands.”

The prologue had a sudden impact, which drew us into the story, leaving us pondering how Vivan had arrived at that point in her life. Just what had transpired up to and after that point? Well, Kimberly Stedronsky deliciously drip fed us tiny morsels of her story to keep us tantalisingly teased!

Keaton Thorne! Wow!!! WE. ARE. IN. LOVE with this flawed and bloody gorgeous man!! He was the complete book boyfriend. Good looking, sexy, strong, smart, charismatic, possessing a wonderful sarcastic wit and an enigmatic presence. Yep, he’s the stuff book boyfriends are made of and we couldn’t get enough of him. We think we fell more and more in love with him as the story progressed. He could definitely cause a city to heat and you really do need to meet this guy any which way you can.

“But you’re everything. You’re everything that I used to pretend existed out there for me., somewhere. You’re the beautiful girl who I would dream about when I’d lie awake at night, the one who’d make me laugh, piss me off, and impress me, all at the same fucking time."

Normally we’re not fans of bringing real life into our books but this author handled it in such a way that it enhanced the story. The movie and book references were so much fun…well, everything was. As you can tell, we really did love it.

We initially adored Vivian and found ourselves empathising with her. Whilst we may have become exasperated by some of her actions and reasoning, we felt as though we understood her. It was who she was and how she handled difficult situations. She was a little reckless and a lot impetuous, but her heart was in the right place. By book two it was a different story and we wanted to throttle her. Her thought process, her flip flopping drove us to the brink and she somehow even managed to bring Keaton down which upset us deeply. Thankfully, Kimberly Stedronsky pulled it back and had us once again connecting with Vivian. It was a close call, the angst was aplenty, and we were walking a tightrope of going off this character completely but luckily that wasn’t the case.

Told in a dual POV between Keaton and Vivian, it was a delight to get an insight into their inner thoughts which were hilarious. Their banter was priceless. We were reciting many classic lines whilst discussing the books after finishing. In fact, we’re still giggling and swooning!

‘She was gorgeous. Stunning. She took my breath away and gave me air to breathe.’

It would be a true crime not to pick up this series. It’s fun, flirty, angsty, emotional and addictive and you get to meet the delectable Mr Keaton Thorne!!! Yummy!!

‘He needed me. I needed him. Right? Isn’t this the way it goes? Isn’t this our blockbuster? I needed him to unbreak my heart, and he needed me to save him.’

For a fistful of dollars you can pick up and fall in love with Below Unforgiven, or for a few dollars more, you can grab the series! Either way, you need to get a hold of these books any which way you can because it would be a true crime to pass these up.

‘Everyone in town introduced themselves by name and relations. Apparently, I was no exception. Maybe it was a precautionary measure to thwart inbreeding.’

A real winner! The good…there was LOTS of that! The bad…well, there wasn’t really any bad, except wanting to throw our Kindles once or twice…..and the ugly…..hmmm there wasn’t any of that either, but we had to get that Clint Eastwood title in here somewhere. An absolute recommend from us!!! We’re still on book cloud nine from this one! Enjoy but remember…Keaton is ours!!!

On a side note, we’ve been asked if it’s worth reading the novella or delving straight into books one and two – we say – absolutely read the novella. It reaches further into the characters and gives you a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the relationships. It really is an added bonus to the series we wouldn’t have missed!

I tried so hard to like this but Vivian is just too childish. How she can change her mind so fast??? I really can't comprehend what is actually going in her head. I kind of feel bad because I have two more books downloaded in my kindle of this series but I do not think i can go on to read them. Her childish antics are getting on my nerves. The only part I liked in the book was when Mathew finally took the mature decision at the beginning to let her go before he started hating her. I really want to give this just 1 star but the extra star is for liking the first book even a little. Other than that nope.

Loved this series! So sad I hadn't heard about this author until now. Refreshing to read two well developed angsty, emotional series back to back.

I picked up this trilogy when it was free on Amazon, and I think I'll be stopping here on book 2.

This writer is incredibly talented and I will definitely check back in on some later books, but this one is just too juvenile for me. I didn't connect with Vivian at all in book 1, and didn't hold out hope for it in book 2 either-and I wasn't disappointed. I know she's young, 21. But she's so immature and such a whiny brat, I couldn't stand to read her POV's. I liked Matthew, even though he ,acted any depth-even as a supporting character, and was a total doormat. Keaton was great in book 1, but by book 2 his personality was grating.

Two attractive, older men vying for the love of an immature much younger woman. She must have had a golden vagina, because the way she was jerking them around was ridiculous. Made me dislike her even more. The book was well edited and paced pretty good. Alternating POV's were easy to follow. But the whole thing, characters, plot line, subplot with the "killer" was all so immature and ridiculous, I'm a little embarrassed.

I can see some potential for this author, but this book series and it's silly characters are a no go for me.

UPDATE!! Reread 9/16/17 and LOVED IT AGAIN!!

It’s almost Christmas Eve. I have only a few gifts wrapped, I need to finish shopping, bake crap, and prepare Christmas dinner for my entire family. Am I ready? That’s a big N.O. What have I been doing?!!! Reading the Movie Trilogy by Kimberly Stedronsky!! I haven’t stopped! I started and just got completely sucked in and now I need Kimberly to tell me what the hell is going to happen next!!! I think I need to make a little trip to her house and bribe her with chocolates and wine!!

We meet Vivian in the first book, Below Unforgiven. A hearbreaking event forces her to run to her grandmother’s house in Pennsylvania. Away from her first true love, Matthew, she gets a job at a video store her friend Robin owns. Her dream is to become a famous movie star, but for now she’s just trying to make ends meet. There she meets Keaton, big Hollywood movie producer, and their connection is explosive. He has an offer she can’t refuse, and this is where their journey begins.
“He needed me. I need him. Right? Isn’t this the way it goes? Isn’t this our blockbuster?
I needed him to unbreak my heart, and he needed me to save him.”

I felt like I was watching a movie. Pretty Woman with a twist. Kimberly gives you a front row seat and throws in everything you could want in this book. It’s like a romantic-comedy, angsty love story, and a mystery all in one.
“But you’re everything. You’re everything that I used to pretend existed out there for me, somewhere. You’re the beautiful girl who I would dream about when I’d lie awake at night, the one who’d make me laugh, piss me off, and impress me all at the same fucking time. The one…”

Keaton. God I love him.

Their story continues in subsequent books, with a novella that gives you Vivian and Keaton’s back-story. I couldn’t put it down. I was addicted to these characters. On Heartbreak Ridge will provide you with insight on how both characters got to where they are. It will have you torn in two not knowing whether to root for Keaton, the swoonworthy Hollywood director, or Matthew, Mr. Hot Teacher Man. My friend hit the nail on the head. Keaton is like a hurricane and Matthew is a sweet summer storm. I have no idea how I’d choose. But I did. I have a favorite!

The Movie Series

Finally, I dive into Before A Perfect World. Now we’ve got mystery, intrigue, and moments that will have you gripping your kindle. I couldn’t stop reading! Got nothing done. ZERO. Presents? Still unwrapped. Cookies? Still not baked. Shopping? Still not done.

But on the plus side, I found a HOT, TO DIE FOR new book boyfriend that had me melting into a puddle of goo. Go click these babies!!!
“I’m going to make love to you. Slowly. The way I wanted to the night of my brother’s wedding. The way you deserve.”

OH. MY. GOD.
“I want you.”

YES. YES. YES.

Like I said, this series is ADDICTING. I can’t even wait for Beyond Hereafter. I NEED more!! Bravo, Kimberly. I’m giving you the Oscar. This series was incredible!!!

Before A Perfect World by Kimberly Stedronsky

“You’re kind of a caveman.”

Before A Perfect World picks up where Below Unforgiven ended. Vivian has just told Keaton the big news. She and Matthew are flying to Los Angeles for Vivian’s audition and let me tell you the tension is intense. Matthew, her first love; always devoted to her. He’s been waiting for her to come back to him. Keaton; wild, passionate, domineering, he never really thought her could find happiness. But now he’s convinced that his whole life revolves around Vivian and their child. If only he could convince her of that. She needs space, time to sort out her feelings. She’s torn between two men, two loves.

“Words are words until I’m three feet away from your passion potion.”

This book has it all! Suspense, there is a killer out to destroy Keaton. Passion-Kimberly know how to write a steamy scene. Tension-which man will she choose or will she have to choose? How will this pregnancy go? She’s high risk and terrified. Humor- do I need to explain this? It’s Keaton and Vivian, they are funny together. Keaton has the ability to make her smile no matter what. Surprises,-oh yeah, there are surprises. Emotion- Ms. Stedronsky knows I hate to cry but did that stop her? NO! But I will forgive her because the emotional parts were also very beautiful. I CANNOT wait for Beyond Hereafter. I give this book 5 million stars!!

“What I mean to say is, you’re hotter than a firecracker, all fuckable out here in this sex swing.”

Excellent second book in the series. I have been eagerly waiting the release after I thoroughly enjoyed the first book. The author created a unique storyline with great characters. I was a little annoyed with V's emotions going back and forth, but luckily that did not last too long in the story. I look forward to seeing how the author finishes out the series in the third book.

I have waited a LONG time for this second book to come out. I really enjoyed the first one. The banter between the two main characters made me smile. I must admit that the blurb put me off but the story was better than I anticipated and I was pleased with how the story went. Roll on the third book.

Should have stopped with book one

I'm disappointed and I don't think I can go on. Book one wasn't perfect, yet I was able to continue with a desire to read book two. I just don't like Vivian and I can't connect with her and Keaton's "instant love". Vivian is an indecisive and childish heroine and I don't want to read her words and thoughts any longer. I would have preferred this book to only be written in Keaton's thoughts.

Poor Matthew was so innocent and loving. I wish the author had written that he had found real love and started a family, had somehow gained wealth and had happily forgotten all about Vivian.

What I liked about this book was that it was a freebie.

Not for me

I read the first, I made it to 30% and was too frustrated with Vivian to keep going. Matthew got dealt a bad hand and Keaton was ok, butt he also had to deal with one side of Vivian. Just to frustrating of a series.

I did like the writing and enjoyed a later book by her.

Okay so let me say as I read BELOW UNFORGIVEN I really fell in love with Viv and Keaton. It grabbed me and made me fall for them. Then the ending that happened that made me a little pissy. Reading the beginning of this book I fell out of love for Viv, though kept it for Keaton. She annoyed me with her immaturity and drama. However, that said she grows up and does so wonderfully. By the end of the book I was proud of her and back in love with her. This book is a bit different from the first. The first felt much more straight up contemporary romance, where this one took much more of a suspenseful turn to it. The climatic seen felt a bit rushed for me and I still have questions as to how things could have occurred but the ending was a nice surprise. Running away from the cliché to switch things up we watch as life isn’t always so rosy and that kept me turning the page hoping to find out what happened next. I will be interested to see how this story ends for the two of them considering how it ended.

3 stars. Sigh. I adored the first book in this series. It was well written romantic comedy with a touch of a love triangle. This one. I am not sure what happened. The writing is still on par with the first one, but it seriously felt like it switched genres. I all the sudden found myself reading a suspense??? And Viv. Viv turned into this gutless flip flopper with Matthew and Keaton. It was beyond angst and just plain frustrating how she jerked them around the first 30% of the book. Will read book 3 because I can't not finish a series, especially when I super loved the first book. Here is hoping we get some of that spunky witty flirty talk between Keaton and Viv.

I am totally addicted to Keaton's funny, witty, smart mouth. His personality and the whole of him. I really liked the preview books in the series but this one I didn't want to do anything but read, my favorite so far. Viv was a freaking diva while shooting the movie and I couldn't stand her then, like really, sleeping in and make the staff wait for her to wake up on your first ever life shooting movie set, was annoying to read, and him allowing her diva like ways was even more. I felt like she was behaving just like his ex-wife. But anyway, moving on, I can't wait to see what happens next, the excerpt for the next book has me in hives already! Loved. 5 stars from me!

I must say the Movie Trilogy has been my favorite so far from this Author, I fell in love with her work in the Rome series. Kimberly mixes a great amount of romance, suspense, and action in this follow up to Below Unforgiven. Your lingering questions from the end of Below Unforgiven will be answered in this book with some special twist and turns until the captivating and compelling end.. You will be on the edge of your seat and not want to put this book down and in the end you will be craving more.. Another fantastic job by Kimberly Stedronsky!!!!

As a follow on to book one of this trilogy this is a tremendously thrilling and readable book. Full of suspense it deals with Viviens indisicion on who to love between the two men in her life then after she's made her choice the fearful consequences that then follow. Riveting reading this book is well worth it's 5*. You'll be like me ready to read book three and see the ending of this trilogy.

A nice story, with a beautiful ending, but I have to say that everything was too rushed. For me, the end was exceptional but the rest was just okay and sometime even felt forced. Nonetheless, I will read the third and last book in this trilogy.
