Growing up, Keyla lived the life that most people could only dream of. Being the only child, she found herself being very close to her cousin. The tragic death of her cousin at a young age due to an overdose caused Keyla to shun dope boys. She vowed that her parents would never have to worry about her falling for a dope boy.
College student and pizza delivery driver by day and hustler by night, Maziah found himself ready to walk away from the game. With money disappearing, his relationship with his brother tarnishing, and his crew getting shorter, he knew his time to walk away was near.
One day, after running into each other at Keyla’s job, Maziah persistently begins to chase after what he wants… Keyla. When he finally gets his chance, drama filled events begin to happen causing them to wonder if they were really meant to be. The biggest dilemma of their relationships is Maziah’s real occupation that Keyla knows nothing about.

About the author

Mississippi native, Mz. Biggs, is originally from Moss Point but currently resides in Jackson. She has a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Social Work and is currently pursuing a Doctoratal Degree in Social Work. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Provisionally Certified Mental Health Therapist. She is a member of the prestigious sorority: Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

One of her biggest blessings is becoming a mother. She has three beautiful children: De'Miktric Jr., Allanah, and Kaiden and wouldn't give up motherhood for anything in the world.

Falling

This storyline pulled me in immediately. The very type of man that Keyla was trying to avoid, ended up being the one that she attracted. Maziah is that man. Along with him comes drama, drama, and more drama. There was so much going on, that I almost got lost a couple of times. Nikki is supposed to be her best friend, but she wasa poor excuse for a friend. Ezrah made me want to lay hands on him. Too much was going on. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Good Read

The drama that unfolds in this book is crazy. Maze was a cool dude. He may have went about some things wrong, but when you are truly feeling someone you will do and say anything to get them. I couldn't stand Nikki. She was fake from the beginning and had a motive to why she befriended Keyla. When something was revealed I didn't know what to believe. I'm hoping it wasn't true and maybe it will be revealed in book two. Keyla's mother may have secrets of her own. Let's hope they don't cause more damage to the family. Ezrah made me sick. I couldn't stand him. He was controlling and most definitely had a hand problem. Deidrick was wrong in all ways for his actions in this book! He was wrong for all the plans he decided to make and the issue he had with his brother is crazy. The fact that he could envy his brother for no reason is mind boggling to me. Maze never acted like he was better then his brother yet Deidrick seen what he wanted to see. I'm so looking forward to see what book two has to bring.

So far, this is a decent read. I really like Maze in spite of. I think he has a hard exterior and soft interior and no body has good intentions or motives for him. The characters kept me on my toes and I never knew what to expect. There was a lot of suspense which kept me on my toes the entire time, because I really wanted to know the outcome. Keyah's mom is questionable; I kinda would like a spin off with her story.

Darn good book

At first I couldn't get into the book because Keyla mouth was working my last nerves. Maze was a trip an his mouth had no filter he kept me laughing. With friends like Nikki you don't need enemies. This was a great read. Can't wait for part2 so Them two s n makes can get what they deserve. LOVE this book

Part 2 needed

Okay so I'm glad that Maze and Keyla are good so far. It's messed up that Maze has to watch his back concerning his brother. For some reason I think Ezrah is going to try something stupid with Keyla because she doesn't want him. I hope when Keyla finds out what Maze really does she can forgive him. So much going on I can't wait to see what happens in part 2

Maze's the man I love his character.....This fast-paced well-written DRAMA kept me laughing the whole book....This author pen game is wicked her hilarious scenario and delightful characters are unforgettable....This STORYLINE was funny and entertaining the joy of seeing Dionne get put in her place for being the nasty ran through thot that she is has me jumping with joy ,,,,now the unbff got a blazing end or not is the question hope that HOE is alive....Dee is the worst kind of man let alone brother no way hope he gets his....as for RAH no Dee having tired azz wow the length he goes through to get a girl he continues to disrespect is beyond me ....KEKE IVE SAVED FOR LAST CAUSE I LOVE HER SWEET PERSONA...SHE CLASSY AND SMART WITH GOAL AND A QUIET STRENGTH YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE HER ......AS THIS SERIES UNFOLDS I SEE SOME DRAMA ,ACTION BUT MOST OF ENTERTAINMENT YASSSSS THIS THA FYAHHHHHHHHHH OUT FREAKING STANDING SISTA .....WHERE'S THE REST OF THE STARS CAUSE I SURE WISH I COULD GIVE MORE .......

Falling For A Dope Boy, drew in my in from the very first chapter. Keyla’s life drastically once she found out some horrible news before something tragic took place. She took a vow unbeknownst to her that she’ll soon fail. The story line between Nikki, Keyla, Ezrah, Maziah, kept me on my toes. Filled with deception, lies, love, murder, betrayal, abuse, and so much more. I would have never suspected that someone like Maziah would fall so hard for KeKe, but she put up a hell of a chase. Not realizing that drama will be soon to follow. I must say someone in this book really made me feel some type of way betraying there love one like they did. Yet I understand why they did everything they did. This was a very suspenseful and intense read.

KEYLA AS A YOUNG LADY NOW DOING MUCH BETTER WORKING AND COLLEGE GIRL. ONE DAY WORKING SHE COME ACROSS MAZE A GUY SHE STATED SO MANY TIMES SHE WOULDN'T DATE HIS KIND. MAZE WASN'T GIVING UP AND ONE THING MAZE KNEW BEST WAS ONCE HE WANT SOMETHING HE GO AFTER IT. BUT THEM PROBLEM IS EZRAH DOG BEHIND OMG PEOPLE USE MUST READ THIS BOOK.

Good read and it makes you laugh

Man that maze!! He is something. But the character I couldnt stand the most was Ezrah. Once again you got a guy who can't keep his hands to himself!!!. That Nikki though....Hmmm . My favorite scene was when Maze left KFC... That part had me crying!!! I hope Nikki is okay but geez surving that!!... I hope her secret still comes out, Keyla needs to know!!
