A very belated read. 20 interviews for the 20 years since handover. One wouldn’t expect this sort of interview to be possible now, let alone publishing them. I didn’t find every single interview interesting, but I didn’t want every year to be “interesting” either. The events in the society and stories of HK people laid a foundation for what was to come after 2016, and the epilogue turned out to be more optimistic than what actually happened.
