She Fell For A Boss: An Urban Love Tale
The heart wants what the heart wants, as is the case with Yamiah. After one conversation with Miego, she is hooked. There is something about him that won't let her walk away. Despite the fact that he is a walking God, his arrogant and brusque demeanor are a little hard to take. Miego says and does what he wants and offers no apologies for it. Even with all that, Yamiah has to have him, regardless of the fact that it could put both her life and his in danger.
Having a child with Black, who is ruthless and unforgiving, complicates things. In his eyes, Yamiah is his possession. Black isn't the type of man who is willing to share, and because of who he is, he doesn't have to. His name alone carries weight, and his money gives him a free pass with the cops. Bottom line, Black does what he wants, including control Yami's life.
Fresh out of lock up from having trusted the wrong people, Miego realizes that he needs a change. Even though he claims he's done, the streets are all he knows, so he steps right back into the role he left. Once he encounters Yami, he doesn't think twice about walking away from Kia who had scorned him once. Miego is not the type to offer second chances, so when he makes that decision, he doesn't look back, leaving Kia to question what she thought they had.
Getting back into the game is working out to be a lot easier than planned since Train is right there to offer the deal of a lifetime, but staying under the radar might be a little complicated since Miego's past is still lurking in the shadows. Regardless of any obstacles, he is going to make it happen. Once a boss always a boss. Miego always gets what he wants, and right now that's his throne back, and the girl of his dreams. I love me some Miego but I'm going to need Yamiah to get it together and put her big girl panties on. I hate the fact that her mom and sister is okay with the situation she's in instead of getting her from it like Miego trying to do. Can't wait to see what's going to happen in book 2 cause I know it's about to go down

This book was defiantly good. I loved Meigo and how he step up for Yami. I also liked the bond he has with Ray. Black is something else and he need to be able handle. That ending was something else I just hope Yami is going to be ok.

From the beginning to the end this book had me! I really like the characters and the storyline just fit. I do recommend!

Great book
Wow Meigo such a good man to Yami that it’s too good to be true, simply amazing. I think that’s dog as Kia told black where Meigo stay I was mad at him for picking the place he knew Kia knew about, I also feel black the one who set him up and that crooked cop in his payroll, Kia might have accidentally let the wrong info get to Black and she wasn’t really apart of the setup but we will see. I’m mad that after all Meigo so for Yami that she don’t put all her trust in him, she know he not gonna hurt Ray so I would of let him take her to school and that’s it she didn’t have to go with him, she should of just let the baby go, why she keeps making dumb decisions that’s gonna hurt Meigo is beyond me, in to book 2

This one was better than most of the previous reads, mostly because you could actually read about the relationship as it happened and not just them meeting and next thing you know its love this and ride or die that. Not really fond of Yami’s character though, she’s too unstable with making her own choices and Miego seems like he’s putting too much into her so fast. The story is still good though so the next one should be better.

She fell for a boss was a fast pace read. Book one of many. I loved they way Yami played it smooth when first meeting Miego, not giving in too much which caused him to be possessive. However, Miego was aggressive and didn’t have a filter whatsoever which is why I liked him even more ! I believe this will be a good little series. On to the next book

Meigo and Yami
I read Hood Legacy first about their kids and wanted to see how it all started. First book moved slow. Hopefully book 2 picks up. Love the content, though.

Once AGAIN she hit another homerun out of the gate. I am beginning to think that K.C. Mills' pen is enchanted. The last few books that I've read by her have been ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!!! She consistently and continuously writes books that leave you wanting more, and more, and more, and more!!! This story was no different. Call me what you want: Super Fan, STAN, Crazed, Obsessed, it doesn't matter. I will gladly wear all of these titles because it is truly worth it to be able to have a glimpse inside of the creative mind of an author that has created a lane and surpassed her counterparts. I loved, loved, loved Yamiah and Miego together. He isn't your conventional hero because he has qualities that leave a great deal to be desired. But through all of the rudeness and cockiness you are able to see that deep down he is truly a good dude who wants to do the right thing in spite of his circumstances. I truly felt incredibly sorry for Yamiah. Finding yourself saddled with a man as evil as Black and having a child with him to boot was a torture that I wouldn't wish on one of my worst enemies. As always the literary ride that we were allowed to take can only be equated with boarding a luxury liner and sitting back enjoying the amenities afforded it's lucky passengers. In this case, those amenities are the first class journey that we experience because of the GRADE A caliber of work that Ms. Mills has painstakingly poured out to us in each word and sentence. Kudos Ms. Mills!!! GREAT JOB!!! I expected no less and can't wait to see what's next!!!!

I Want More!
Really good read! This author definitely has a way of storytelling that leaves you wanting more. And not in an "I didn't get enough" type of way but, more so in a "that was so good I can't already be at the end type of way". Typically, I shy away from cliffhangers however I'm more than confident the wait won't be long for part 2. I was truly able to connect to each character whether I liked them or not and because of that I became emotionally involved with the story. Again really good read I'm anxious to see how everything unfolds in part 2. With the exception of some small editing issues this was definitely one of my best reads so far this year. I would definitely recommend to fellow readers.

Another fantastic read from Ms KC. Mills
Great read! Loved the Miego and Yami relationship, they compliment each other, trying to straighten up each other's fault. I don't trust Kia and Kailin, something is up with them. Black needs to be taken care of ASAP. I hope Black didn't do anything to yami and comes out standing and unhurt. One question that's on my mind thou, who framed Miego and why? I guess I'll have to wait for part two to find out. Another 5 star read. Part 2 ASAP! Great job!

Yami is in a situation that she done know how to deal with. She has always had her mom &/sister telling her what to do. So now she can't decide what she wants for herself. Then there is her baby daddy Black. He doesn't want to let her go but want to do him. Miego like Yami & wants to be with her. So will things work out or will she let Black still control her life. She is finally happy but her comes Black ready constant some trouble. On to part 2 to see what happens. I really hope he doesn't get her to leave Miego cause she deserves to be happy. Great book.

She's done it again....wrote another great love story and now has left me hanging on the edge wondering what's going to happen next. I LOVE Miego n Yami I just hope she comes out ok n that Black doesn't hurt her. Black is a coward n I can't stand him I hope Miego deals with him accordingly. Ms. Mills what can I say besides job well done again n hurry with the next one.

I absolutely loved me some Miego. He had me laughing out loud quite a few times. Yami was a sweet girl, but she was wack. Her constant indecisiveness was quite annoying. Anyway, I enjoyed the book, but I wished the author had been a bit more descriptive about certain things in the book. Nevertheless, the book was cool and I look forward to reading book 2.

Good book
This was a good book. A little slow because I was expecting much more drama that never came but I still enjoy the book. I really like Miego's character and I really hope he gets Yami back unharmed.

it was a good read but at one point it got on my nerves a little that Yami had to have shit repeated to her ass a 10000xs but I get she was scared of black I just hope she opens up to miego in part 2

Good book but the start of it dragged! I felt like most of the book was slow motion and took to long to get to anything good! Im going to stick it out with part 2 bc I'm anxious to see how things go with Miego & Yami!

Has she really fell for a boss? Yami does not seem to know what she wants. Her immaturity, wishy washyness, and lack of back bone is too much. I dislike the work he is putting in for Yami. It's so one sided. She needs to step it up.
