100 books353 followersJeannette grew up in a large family, number ten out of eleven children, eight of them being older brothers. She quickly developed a great sense of humor, mostly from necessity. One of her greatest joys is sitting on the porch where they were all raised and hearing the stories from years gone by. Quietly laughing to herself, she notices how they embellish the stories more and more each year.
Storytelling was passed down from her grandfather and mother. Jeannette caught the bug at a very young age. If she didn’t have her head in a book, then she was off somewhere with a notebook, jotting down stories of what she would write if one day she became an author. Although the notebook may have vanished, the stories are still vivid and waiting for the right time to be told.
Despite having an amazing family, there have also been some sorrows in her life, including the loss of loved ones. Over the years, Jeannette has spent countless hours volunteering for different organizations and acting as a caregiver to those dearest to her. As a result, supporting the elderly became of utmost importance.
As she approached a milestone birthday in 2015, she decided to take her passion for writing and blend it with her desire to continue to help others. As she writes her stories, she hopes they touch someone’s life. Within the layers of the romance, the foundation remains throughout and is one that is dear to her; make a difference in someone’s life each day!
In 2016 she met someone who encouraged her to push herself even further and try her hand at spicy intrigue. One year later she has four books in this new series and each one pushing her limits just a bit further.
Like the wind, Jeannette’s life changed directions several times over the years, yet one constant remains: her desire to leave this Earth a little better than when she entered it as she tries to live by these words, Make your mark on the world today as your acts of kindness is all anyone will remember in years to come!

I love the two MC's, especially Sissie. This novel pretty much wraps up the series except for a novella "Southern Hearts". When I started this series, I didn't think to much of it, but quickly got deeply involved in it.

My Unexpected Future!!!
Sissie Entwistle had a way of spotting true lovebirds even before they themselves realized that they were meant to be together. Despite her talent, she never saw her own prince charming. Well that was until the sexy as sin Ryan Watson showed up in Honeywell again.
Ryan Watson (we met him in SOUTHERN CHARM ) was a tycoon who didn't stop until he got what he wanted. Like the Collins and their loved ones, Ryan wanted to protect his greatest treasure...his daughter, Donna from the conspiracy and threats they all were facing.
His methods applied in his business life as well as his personal one. Reaching out to Sissie Entwistle for help did something to Ryan. He was intrigued by the beautiful, sassy and funny bar owner of Wild Sass Saloon the moment he met her a few months ago.
Sissie liked Donna the instant she hear and saw how well she held her own against her. She alreafu was looking for a suitor for the young woman. The two women grew closer.
Ryan found himself in Honeywell cause he couldn't leave his daughter's protection to no one else but himself. Once again he needed Sissie's help, she reluctantly agreed. She was caught off guard by how the man made her feel.
With the terrorists lurking around the small town. Everyone was on alert, the Collins, Nash and their extended family of friends didn't leave anything to chance.
Ryan lost his wife because of a war that started long before he got involve. Now he wasn't about to make to same mistake. He was willing to do whatever it took to keep Donna and Sissie safe.
Tragedy struck close to home leaving Sissie heartbroken. She waa unable to share her sorrows with anyone, especially not Ryan. That didn't stop the latter from being there for her regardless.
It was great to see Sissie finally get her HEA after helping so many people find their other halves. Seeing previous characters make an appearance is always a treat.
SOUTHERN SASS is the sixth book in Jeannette Winters' SOUTHERN DESIRES series. It was breathtakingly alluring, intriguing and humorous. Jeannette Winters did an excellent job. 5++++

Southern Sass by Jeannette Winters is book #6 in the Southern Desires series and is another winner of a book and a great addition to the series. This book proves that love is just not for young people alone! Sissie is a sexy, funny, beautiful bar owner of the Wild Sass Saloon in Honeywell and is a force of HER own. Sissie also has a knack of getting couples together even against the odd, but what about herself. When business tycoon Ryan Watson's grown daughter Donna wants to go visit and stay with friends in Honeywell, Ryan reaches out to Sissie to watch over Donna. When Ryan(a force of HIS own) feels he is the only one who can protect his daughter, he also heads to Honeywell. You see everyone is on alert about terrorist lurking around Honeywell. Ryan who had met Sissie months earlier has been intriqued about her, so when they meet up again sparks fly!! I really encourage you to read the book to see how Sissie and Ryan reach their HEA. Great sexy read! Love can be for all ages!!

This book gets personal with the town of Honeywell getting attacked
Honeywell it's a small town where everybody knows everybody else and it's peaceful and a quiet place to bring up your kids. Suddenly under attack the troops together to protect the town and unknowing to the townsfolk.

Nice ending
The mystery was tied up with this group in Sissie's story. Hopefully, the future novella will match Donna with her soul mate and address Kevin and Marina's fate. Overall a good series.

A few minor editing issues, but the story was amazing. I was riveted in the plot. And loved the whole series.
