The same applies in a project: planning is its basis; control, the means to achieve its objectives; communication bonds the project’s stakeholders and expresses the tone and pace of management.

An interesting introduction to Project Management.

The book felt too short so wasnt able to impress the reader.

Considering that it is a first book of a series on a heavy subject like Project Management, maybe it was intentionally kept 'light' and 'short' so as not to dissuade a reader from the rest of the series.

But personally, I would have preferred the book to give a better, more perspective-full introduction to the complex and wide field of project management; since it is a very generic subject and there are a lot of nuances to it.

A powerful intro

Since project management is a process, a framework to develop products and achieve goals, this book provides an initial "big picture" that will help you along the way of becoming a good PM.

Also looks to amplify your knowledge by providing an array of other books to complement what you learn here.
