These two are the cutest couple. Sometimes I feel bad for Dane for having that horrible woman as his mother. She is horrible. I love how down to earth Allyson is and how much Dane is willing to do for her. I think she brings out the best in him and I feel like he brings out the best in her. These two's story is truly such a whirlwind. Sometimes I feel so bad for them but then other times I feel like they did this to themselves. Allyson is really living a cinderella story though. I wish everyone would leave them alone and let them do their thing.

After the first book ended on such a cliffhanger I was glad there were some answers in this book but still left it open enough for the next book. We get to know Dane and Allyson a little more and their love for each other. Ironic that the first book was about faking being today and now they are faking being apart. We watch as their relationship is testing by all directions. It was nice to read that they have some of the same issues a “normal” couple would have. Talking about where to live, kids, money, staff, jobs, etc. There is still the big difference of his wealthy family and her normal life. Could they make it past all those differences while still trying to mend the relationship of their families? Then when health problems come out how will they make it through? I really enjoy how this is an easy read but has substance. This is an adult romance novel but there is so much more than just sex scenes. Sometimes when reading some others in this genre there is no storyline but all lust, it was a nice change.

I loved the first story so much that I quickly went to Amazon for the next book. Luckily enough it had just come out.

I love Dane and Allyson together and their love is strong, or so I thought. They're still dealing with high-society snobs that don't want them together. It seems they cannot leave well enough alone.

Allyson really needs to toughen up. She lets everything get to her, won't let Dane cut his ruthless mother out of his life, and she lets outside forces influence her.

Of course I want to see how this wraps up for Dane and Allyson and I want them to get their well deserved HEA. Allyson just needs to grow a backbone for it to happen.

My one gripe about this story is she won't let Dane cut the toxic people out of their lives and she won't even cut her sister out of her life when she has shown how much she dislikes Allyson. Dane seems to be the only person in her life that truly loves and cares for her yet she tosses him away to "protect" him. It became annoying and frustrating. I understand the ending had to be a cliffhanger, but geez, break the poor guy's heart instead of talking to him first?

I guess we'll see how this plays out next month. I still enjoy this series and recommend it. I just wish Allyson's character had a little more backbone and realized she didn't have to be so weak and uptight about money. She had the heart of a billionaire.

Has me on edge!!

Ugh! As intriguing as cliffhangers can be, they sure grind my gears!! I love reading at a glance what the rich feel like about their money and status. I love that Dane is so down to earth, and loved Allyson so purely...but what happens next??? I can't wait to read what comes next!

Alright, I'm still going to read the next book, because I've already invested this much time. And I absolutely adore Dane. Allyson, however... GET. YOURSELF. TOGETHER. Allyson's pity party is why I am giving this a low rating. Hopefully, she can redeem herseld in the third installment.

Aside from that - can we talk about that scene in the shop - When Dane put his heart on the line?! 😭🥰

It just keeps getting better, but liking Allyson less. Her indecisiveness is annoying.

Loving the cliffhanger endings because they come at the end of actual book length, instead of a 50 page short that acts as a tease. Also, they don't really leave you in the middle of main character action, giving you the choice to continue reading......on to book 3 in series.

En esta entrega el problema principal son los hermanos Nicky y Katherine, y la madre de Dane pasa a un segundo plano.
En cuanto a la relación de Dane y Allyson se ve en problemas que pueden llegar a ser un punto de quiebre para Allyson

Can insecurity kill love

She is smart, kind and generous to a fault. Cannot wait for the next book to see if her insecurities kill her love for Dane.
