Mine Yoshizaki (吉崎 観音 Yoshizaki Mine), born December 2, 1971 in Isahaya, Nagasaki) is a male Japanese manga artist (mangaka) who first started his career by making dōjinshi based on video games. Yoshizaki also worked as an assistant to mangaka Katsu Aki . His first publication was featured in a compilation book published by Shogakukan in 1989.
He is best known for his manga Keroro Gunso, published as Sgt. Frog in the United States, which was first published in the Japanese manga magazine Shonen Ace. He is also the creator of Arcade Gamer Fubuki and did character design on the series Seven of Seven. In 2005, Keroro Gunso received the 50th Shogakukan Manga Award for children's manga.

Oh noes! Earth is under attack!
Better beware because one alien platoon is actually spying on us here on earth o.o;
They're on a mission of invading this planet.

Oh, but wait... their platoon leader, Sergeant Keroro, is actually the housekeeper of the Hinata family.
Hmm, and the other platoon members are no better invaders XD

Giroro: the war-freak who is actually in love to an earth girl, Tamama: a soldier you can bribe with cookies, candy, and cola, Kururu: a mad scientist who thinks only of his interests, and Dororo: a ninja who fell in love to earth and proclaimed to defend this beautiful planet and it's people ^^

Keroro Gunsou (Sergeant Keroro) is a comedy manga with lots of parody from other anime-manga titles.
It's fun and hilarious, the word 'alien' is so much fun with Keroro around XD ♥

A new surprise! A story that runs for more than a couple of chapters. The story retains the comedy but offers a more serious theme as well. We'll see what happens from here.

So, so close to having actual stakes. I'm so mad about this series actually but I feel like I should finish the ones I have... maybe out of false hope

According to my friend, whose daughter loves this series, this volume is evidently the "Holy Grail" of the series as it was the hardest to find. I definately was looking forward to this one as the story line conitued and I really am getting into this series now.
