I was the quiet one. The guy who had it together. I worked hard to get my band where it was; at the top of the charts. I'd never been one to party, to just let go and enjoy this crazy ride, and because of that, people said I had a stick up my ass. So for one night, I let go. For once, I didn't want to be me. I wanted to be the guy who didn't give a shit about anything, but reality happened. It hit me over the head with a king sized hammer. Everything changed. My name is Jinx Raines and this is my story.
Regina Frame lives in Alabama with her husband and two dogs. She started her writing journey early 2013 when she published The Beaumont Trilogy. Since then she has published the first book in her rock star series, A Dirty Affliction which released in 2014. She fell in love with the bad boy rockers and released four more books in the series. Rock music is her passion. She loves losing herself in the beat and the stories of her characters.
Harmony was the fourth book in the Dirty Affliction series by Regina Frame.
Jinx Raines was the Dirty Affliction drummer and the bands manager. We met him previously but his personality came out within this book and I fell in love.
Harmony St James was Honor’s best friend (book three, Heartstrings). She was vibrant, funny, quick, smart, spontaneous and gorgeous.
Harmony and Jinx met previously so the storyline backed up a bit to align with their scenes in Heartstrings but from their own perspective. Frame then took us through their dating and the normal challenges within.
In the end, it was a quick and enjoyable read. Although sexy, it had a sweet “good feels” vibe. I’m not sure where the series can go from here since they all found their forever love, but I would love a full wrap up or even a spin off series. Regardless, I look forward to see where Frame takes us next.
I volunteered to read an ARC of this book for an honest review for the author -This is the first book I have read by this author. I liked the ease of reading but found the flow slightly tricky at times. It is difficult to pinpoint the issue. Overall I liked the plot, characters, the dynamics between all the characters. I liked how Harmony grew as an individual, overcoming her insecurities with the support and love of Jinx. I liked how the author emphasized communication and trust is key to any solid relationship.
I really love this author, and love every book in this series. For some reason, the beginning of this story felt a little clunky to me. It took longer to hook me in. I am glad I stuck with it, because the book turned out to be pretty good!
I was waiting for Jinx to have his HE A and Regina Frame didn't disappoint with this story. Harmony was the perfect woman for Jinx who is such a hot nurturing rock star. I hope we see more from this group of rockers!
I absolutely love this series and this book was just as amazing and the previous books. I loved Jinx and Harmony together. It was sweet, sexy all at the same time.....
Another great book in this series. This one is about Jinx and Harmony. Jinx is the drummer and manager for the band Dirty Affliction. Harmony is the best friend of the bassist for the band. Jinx isn't your typical rockstar he is the one that keeps all the other guys on the right track. Harmony comes from a strict and highly respected family. In this book both Jinx and Harmony deal with different obstacles. If you haven't read any of the books in this series I recommend that you do because you will fall in love with all of the characters.
This is Book 4 in the Dirty Affliction series. The first time Jinx saw Harmony he thought there was more to her than she let others know. Time has passed and now the band is getting ready to go on tour. They have a new band opening for them, Wicked Rush. Guess who’s the new drummer for that band? You got it, Harmony. She’s been seeing Jinx for a while so this is the icing on the cake for Jinx. But things aren’t all good. Harmony’s father hates her and the lead singer for Wicked Rush is her ex-boyfriend. What else can go wrong you ask? Lots of things. This is a really great book. You are kept on the edge of your chair from page 1. They way Chance and Harmony are together is awesome. The chemistry is there and the way he takes care of her is something every girl dreams of in a boyfriend. I really love this series and each book just keeps getting better and better. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from the author.
Another fun, great read from Ms Frame. I had been waiting for Jinx's story and it was well worth the wait. The two main characters Jinx and Harmony are perfect for each other in every way including playing the same instrument. Now there were two characters that I really did not like Dex and Harmony's father. (would love to slap both of them) This book grabbed from the very beginning and did not let go until the very last word. This just might be my favorite one of this series. I love this book and series. Can't wait to see what happens next. I recommend this read.
This story was very well written, the flow was very good. The love story was good, the characters were very likable. If you are a fan of Rock Star Romance, you will really enjoy this book!
This is book four in A Dirty Affliction Novel and it is Harmony and Jinx’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Jinx is the band manager and drummer for Dirty Affliction and he is the calm, cool and collected type and try’s hard to keeps things from getting out of control even though it is not always easy. Harmony hasn’t had a easy life as her father is so controlling and has done that her whole life so when she gets the chance to go on tour as the drummer for Wicked Rush she jumps at the chance not only to get away from her father but also so she can spend time with her best friend Honor and also be around Jinx from Dirty Affliction so this is the opportunity that means everything to her so she is totally looking forward to it. There are many ups and downs, complications and what can go wrong will go wrong especially as Harmony’s ex is lead singer for Wicked Rush making things even more difficult and complicated. The attraction, connection and chemistry between Jinx and Harmony was so strong and intense that you can feel it coming off the pages and this book will take you on a roller coaster ride that will have you on the edge of your seat while turning the pages and the storyline pulled you in right from the start and I couldn’t put it down as it was so addictive. Regina Frame is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will not be disappointed and I can’t wait to read more of her books in the future.
I just knew I would love Jinx's story...and I did! Meeting Honor's best friend, Harmony, was an event that would alter their lives forever. Jinx had always been the sensible one of the guys. He never let things get out of control especially in his own life. But a woman can change that. Harmony has long been under her father's crushing thumb. When she meets the man she has long idolized, she is fall-down drunk and he actually watches over her all night. Love is born? You betcha!
Except (again) the damn editing, this is a great book. After all, a man who builds a retreat centre for abused and homeless animals is number one in my eyes! Loved it!
This was my favorite book in the series, and, overall, the only one that I felt had a proper ending as opposed to the kind of abrupt ending of the others. Jinx was my favorite character from the beginning, and I loved him with Harmony. I also loved the fact that we finally got one rocker that was not troubled by drugs and/or alcohol, nor was he into an endless sea of groupies. He found a girl he really liked and did everything he could to make sure she felt the same way in return. There was some drama as well, but not in the way you’d think given the topic and the theme of the series so far. The ending was great, I enjoyed every word.
I really enjoyed reading this book I don't usually read books about rock stars but the description and cover sucked me in and once I started reading I couldn't put it down. Anybody who loves a love at first sight romance will love this book
Harmony is the fourth book in the Dirty Affliction series. Out of the four books so far I think this one just might be my favorite. The relationship of jinx and Harmony is a whirlwind and fun read. This book I feel has a true ending. I can't wait for the next book. I recommend this fun read.

This is the fourth book in the Dirty Affliction series. This book is a page turner from the moment you pick it up. The characters are raw and emotional which takes the reader on one heck of a roller coaster ride. This is a beautifully written romance that has the reader begging for more. Way to go Regina Frame!
