Fun and enthralling urban fantasy

I’m a digital nomad (well I was until 2020 happened), although I hate that term because it makes me sound like a wanky hipster. Which I’m not. Okay, I am a bit snobby about coffee and I sometimes wear twee vintage dresses but that doesn’t make me a hipster.

On my travels, I love visiting weird and macabre places. Mummified hands that remove curses, museums of infectious diseases, collections of taxidermized frogs riding Penny Farthings - hell yeah!

Oh, and that profile photo isn't me, it's my rapscallion Bishon Frise called Hamish. Both of us highly motivated by treats.

Ok, Vampire Prince, book 3 of the Clem Starr: Demon Fighter series, is clearly a case of The Good, the Bad, and The Ugly. In reverse order, first up is the Ugly: the Vampire King is back and not happy at all (as in “call out the hounds of War” angry). The Bad is that it looks like the only one who can kill him is “the gentlest, sweetest vampire” ever seen by our series star. That’s the Good here: that star is Clem Starr, demon fighter extraordinaire and kick-a** heroine of my dreams (plus her friends, and even Vlad, can’t forget them). There ain’t nothing that really gonna stop our Clem, be it Vampire King, a** of a Mayor or annoying Demon Fighters Council. She’ll have it all in hand - and still get the “serious Clem and Kisho time” she so desires.

Great fun, great plot, great characters and great writing. One word summary? You guessed it: Great. (And, of course, “great-ly” recommended).

Oh yeah, before I forget: you can read this book as a standalone and really enjoy it, but the prior books were equally fantastic and will act as multipliers if your enjoyment of this one (heck, you’ll even understand the significance of Vlad - and I love Vlad).

What an explosive ending to the story! The last book (for now) was a roller coaster ride from beginning to the end. And I must say, although there is an actual ending this time, it is not final. I am quite grateful for that as I am not ready to permanently say goodbye to Clem, Kisho, Nic and all the other fabulous characters.
The whole series was so great, entertaining, full of action, full of great humour. The dymanics between Clem and Kisho, and Clem and Nic are so different and so complementing and balancing. Kisho brings out her soft emotional side, and Nic brings out the stubborn fighter. I am not referring to a love triangle but their closeness and friendship and companionship. It is absolutely impossible for me to imagine these three separated in any way.
Clem remains my absolute favourite, true to herself, strong, independent, amazing. I sincerely hope that the author will come back to the series and create more stories.
Reading order is: Sex Demon (Clem Starr: Demon Fighter #0.5), which is the same as Incubus (Clem Starr: Demon Fighter #0.6), Demon Child (Clem Starr: Demon Fighter #1), Moonlight Virgin (Clem Starr: Demon Fighter #2), and Vampire Prince (Clem Starr: Demon Fighter #3).

Another high octane fun fuelled blast.
This is such a totally enjoyable series. The humour, the warped characters, the fast paced action, the coffee, the cake, the mayor who is a swell guy!
Book three has Clem and the pack up against the final battle with the Vampire King. There are more challenges than ever to overcome as time is running out for Kisho to get up the nerve to do what has to be done, in more ways than one...The city has become a total wasteland and humans are easy pickings, this sees the vampires in Nic's pack do a complete U turn and actually become saviours, and so begins book 3.

If you are a fan of Urban Fantasy and have not read this series so far then you are missing out. Buy the box set and save money too and experience the fun of the Clem Starr series.

Clem, Nic and Kisho are back and just a snarky and crazy as the previous books. Their interactions among themselves and others are a hoot and so worth reading. They are not the "typical" good guys. They just make me laugh. This story was full of action, snark, and steamy scenes here and there. Just a blast to read to see if they would win against the Vampire King. I thought the story was well written as usual so I felt I was right there and could easily picture everything. Liked the random twists that popped up. I loved reading the story to see how it would end. Would the trio win this time?

it's Going Down

Book three was even better than the first two if that was even possible. Loving the characters of Nick, Kisho and Clem. Guess who comes back with a load of surprises?

The Vampire king is in for a huge surprise.

I received the book from the author and I have read and reviewed it without obligation to do so.

Clem is back and just as kick-a** as ever! I didn't want to put this one down, and I'm glad to see that it isn't the end of the series. The action is non-stop in this one. The romance is still steamy, which I think balances out the action, and the moments of humor keep things fun. These have been some of my favorite books that I have read this year, and I highly recommend them.

This one had a lot of twists. I can't stop reading the series I'm almost caught up to the latest of the series. I don't want to be a spoiler but from Clem's winning personality to the action "scenes" and the moments of sexy. I like to think that it has touches of everything.

This book conclude a three part story line, but not the adventures of Clem Star. In this book, the fight to take down the Vampire King continues and concludes. It contains a surprise return of characters from books one and two. It also contains a couple of over the top sexual chapters that reduced the impact of the book.

This was the best one yet. Things have gone from bad to worse. The Vampire King is back, the city looks like a war zone with vamps and demons everywhere, Clem is still living with Nic, Kisho and the pack and the mayor is still a lying sleaze. This book is so full of action and drama. Vlad comes back all grown up and it is fantastic! He is so different from before and Kisho begins to change also. They even meet a pair of German brothers that put some fun and games into the war. If you've read the other, DO NOT miss this one. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
