A coming of age romance.

Growing up on his family’s working ranch in Leon County, Texas, young Adam McNaughton learned all about the cowboy way of life from experts but there were life lessons he had to figure out for himself through trial and error. For instance, who could he really trust? Would it be his dad who had raised him all by himself since Adam was small? His siblings? His best friend, Jimmy? Or would it be that gorgeous, blond girl who had just enrolled in his class at Centerville High School? The one he couldn’t get off his mind.

Adam loved his dad and had always respected and admired him, but just lately that didn’t seem to be working for him anymore. He didn’t understand exactly why that was, but it was a fact that was making life difficult for both him and his dad.

And then there was football! Being a teenager and making sense of the world is never easy but sometimes it can be fun, if your team is trying to win the State Championship, and especially so if you have that pretty, blond girl on your arm while you’re at it!

Come see how it all works out with this glimpse into The McNaughton Legacy.
