What is one to do with all of these #FEELS? Throughout life, we're constantly confronted by challenges, triumphs, relationships, the weighted opinions of those close to us and those we see online; even our own mind can play tricks on us. We tell ourselves we're not good enough, we're not loved, we're not worthy of the lives that we dream up. We let our bad habits control our lives and let our pessimistic perspective control our minds until we're so overwhelmed, we have no idea what to do with all of these feels. That's what this book is for. Open the index, pick out the words that best describe the mood, and flip to the page. There you will find the happy pep-talks translated from my own personal journal into more general terms and shared shamelessly to let you know that you are not alone. You've got this.
#Feels⭐️ Do you have some #feels that you need to digest out? Dont Worry Kalyn has you covered with all the feels to help you through it. It felt like Kalyn was giving me all the experience and guidance and letting me know that its gonna be alright.
A lot of good advice if you're feeling down in any kind. But there are too many faults in orthography and grammatically incorrect sentences (and I don't speak perfectly English)... But its a cute book to read in a winter night just to reflect on your life with a lot of great tips to increase the value of your life and time.
An inspiring collection of pick-me-up pep talks, Kalyn Nicholson's #Feels truly does feel like having a best friend in your pocket.
I flew through this book all in one day and loved it. It's something I can always come back to for certain pieces of wisdom from certain Feels and Game Changers.
Is already and will be a definite life changer. You can open the book look through all the #feels, when you find your current feeling like for example I can’t concentrate or I feel lonely, you head to the page and It feels like Kalyn is sitting next to you getting you through this feeling. Going to be picking up #feels a lot.
As someone who is constantly struggling with her emotions and just life in general, I believe that this book is definitely one that will help me up when I’m feeling down. It discusses a lot of things that we (as people) deal with in our day to day lives and even gives helpful tips on how to deal with those #feels.
However, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this book to a guy or anyone over the age of 40. While I do like this book and find it to be helpful, I also believe that it is directed towards a certain audience. I feel like young women or teen girls are more likely to enjoy this book which isn’t necessarily a bad thing in my opinion just a thought.
Overall, I can definitely see myself reaching for this book again in the near future. Whether it’s in search of some friendly advice or a life changing tip, I believe that Kalyn really nailed what she was going for when writing this book. Every chapter feels as though a friend is giving me some hard-hitting advice and there were moments where what she was saying really struck a chord.
If I had to compare this book to anything it’d be those “Chicken Soup for the Soul” books but instead of hearing relatable stories by complete strangers, it was going to a friend for a shoulder to cry on.
It took me a while to finish this book, since it isn’t your typical chapter to chapter type of book. This book was such a pick me up! In fact, I thought it was so good for myself, that I bought one for my best friend. Both of us have started our first year of university now and I thought it would be the perfect going away gift for her. So she now has access to loads of advice if I’m not there straight away to be a shoulder to cry on. We both also have ‘game changers’ on how to budget and change habits which are super helpful at this stage in our lives! Thank you to Kalyn for writing this book. I’ll definitely be picking it up again depending on what ‘feel’ I’m feeling or if I need some game changers!
I think this will always be on my 'Currently reading' shelf. I love it. I have always been a fan of Kalyn Nicholson and love her YouTube channel. Her coffee talks have got me through a lot. I love how the book is split up into sections, with each page focusing on something different. I keep this on my phone and whenever I need some advice, or I'm not feeling great I grab my phone, open the book and start reading. Parts of the book I have read and re-read and still they help me get over the challenge or slump. To me, no matter where I am in my life, this book has helped me and is an amazing pep talk for anyone who just needs a push in the right direction.
Not a bad book, definitely written towards the teen to early 20's demographic. Guys could enjoy it but its geared towards girls. Personally I've read it all in many other self-help books. But I do believe younger girls could benefit from her words and have inspiration and guidance from her pages. It could be helpful to certain people and it's nice she put it together. If you are over 30 it's not too relatable, which is totally fine. She does have good advice, just not much I haven't already went through and learned already. Great gift for a daughter or youngster in your life.
I don't tend to write reviews, however #Feels really resonated with me on so many levels! I really like how it is divided into key topics and is so easy to use on a daily basis. I also loved the #gamechanger element and have made good use of the tips and tricks. I feel this is a book that I will be re-reading and suggesting to others in need of some wise words, motivation and guidance! Thank you, Kalyn ✨
Great advice for basically any type of situation that life could possibly throw at you. Full of love and support and guidance of how to handle the hardest times with the most grace. I try to keep it close by to use as a personal reference for tough times.
loved every bit of this little book. kalyn truly knows how to cheer someone up and to be fully honest, ecen if the truth might hurt. the perfect book if you’re feeling any type of #feel.
