Jamie is a webcomic by Bre Indigo and Tami Babikian.

At his aunt’s wedding, Jamie, a young hopeless romantic, bumps into Aiden, a socially inept pretty boy, who easily steals his heart. After discovering Aiden goes to his school, with the help of his sister Vicky, Jamie decides to find the quickest way to win him over. Gaining unforgettable friendships and important life lessons along the way, Jamie’s impact on Aiden and his group of friends creates a rippling effect that changes everything.

Mini review: I think this is super cute so far, and I hope the story will be continued some day! I’d love to see what becomes of Jamie and Aiden’s relationship.

Rep: pansexual MC, asexual MC, agender characters, lesbian and bisexual side characters

I really really enjoyed this and I need MOAR NOW. It's currently a 3.5 stars because there's still a lot to go (so I won't rate it just yet because 3 stars is definitely not a rating this comic deserves)

I was worried that I'd keep comparing this to Heartstopper but this comic stands in its own right. Jamie is just the cutest lil bean (massive Charlie vibes for some reason), Aiden is likeable but I haven't fully fallen in love with him yet (imma need more backstory first), Vicky is just plain goals. The rest I need more development for before I fall in love.

In a nutshell, it's definitely worth the read!!!!!! I'm going to need more before I decide on a proper rating but what I've read so far is 3.5 (yes I know I'm harsh). Now I'm off to read Heartstopper again because this book has just reminded me how soft gay comics just wrap you up in the world's most comfortable blankets and kisses you on the forehead as you dream <3

Incomplete story, on hiatus. I read the new version (not sure the differences made but the old one had a different style)

Notes because I don’t want to do a comprehensive review:
- everyone in this is already gorgeous
- Ginger is probably a small character but she’s stunning
- The plants and house color palette is precious and I love the expressions
- Jamie and Vicky cutest siblings
- I want to marry this teacher and Penn they’re both gorgeous
- This band is so gay already, I like it
- Vivi u r very dramatic
- The color chart on the sexuality and pronouns guide was a neat feature!
- Oh dang Jamie is a freshman and Aiden is a senior?! But at least the tumblr post explaining it made sense I suppose. Just not sure why they couldn’t have been a little closer in age
- LITTLE NICK AND CHARLIE HEARTSTOPPER CAMEO!!
- Aiden chewing his fingers until they are bloody and then randomly wearing multiple bandaids? I’ve never felt more seen
- Headcanoning Aiden as autistic idc
- Aiden and Jamies character designs are so warm and lovely
- “I don’t know if I like him the same way he likes me” felt
- “Hey stop chewing!” and “sorry” so accurate ugh
- The awkwardness is accurate and wholesome but also it’s awkward because of the power dynamic
- The bowling alley color palette chefs kiss
- I’m an Aiden kinnie maybe
- Lolll it started as a Naurto fic

Overall this was pretty good, I guess I can see how it is one of the most popular queer comics on Tapas. However, I really didn’t like how so much of the main relationship seemed one-sided. Aiden just simply was not into Jamie, and the fact that Jamie would NOT STOP bothering him really rubbed me the wrong way. Aiden really did show so many signs of wanting Jamie to stop, to leave him a little bit more alone — but Jamie continued to press on and to be just a tad too creepy for my liking. He was borderline, no, he WAS obsessive and was very disregarding to how Aiden was feeling in their relationship (if you can even call it that). Also, he was 14. Like come on.
So, good story, I liked a lot of the characters and the art, but also was just not a fan of some really key characters (cough/cough Jamie cough/cough) and how a “good” relationship was portrayed.

A cute and sweet webtoon about first crush and navigating the halls of highschool. Jamie, Aiden, and all the other well thought out characters in this comic are fantastically unique and adorable in their own way (don’t let Vivian hear me call her adorable . . . I value my life). Each panel is well thought out and full of creatively amazing art and text. I loved it!!! Bre Indigo, YOU MUST ADD MORE!!!

As of this review, I have read until page 134 of the webcomic.
This was great! I really enjoyed the budding romance, beautiful art, and solid LGBTQ+ representation. I will probably raise my rating to 5 stars if the story continues on the track it's going on. I will definitely keep reading as long as they deal with the age-gap which the author has said they will.

I think I'm becoming adicted to webcomics.
The art is adorable.
I love that each author/artist has their own unique style and different ways to express emotion and dialogue through their art.
This is still and on going comic so the story hasn't finish yet but so far its the cutest thing ever.
LOVE LOVE IT!

*This webcomic still updates every week or so (technically not finished, but it just makes my currently reading list too long, lol).
