Oh, Henry is book two in the OHellNo series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. I loved book one in this series and was so excited to be able to go right on into the next book. This one, though, ratcheted everything up a notch. Still some sweet romance, some very funny situations, and a little bit of angst as both Elle and Henry are dealing with some serious issues. And, what would a Mimi Jean book be without one of her little added twists. Oh Mimi Jean, you are a very naughty girl with that ending. I finished this at 10:00 last night so how was I supposed to go to sleep after that?!!!



Henry Walton is a senior at Austin U and is a defensive Lineman for the football team. He’s one of the stars of the team and has been pegged by the scouts as a first round pick in the NFL. He and Elle only dated for a few weeks but when she broke up with him, his game went to the crapper. He just couldn’t seem to do anything right. His coach is threatening to bench him for the rest of the season which would ruin his dream of pro-ball. He has to figure this out. And then, during one practice, he saw Elle in the stands and all of a sudden, everything went right! No way could it be her. They weren’t even together all that long.

Henry is the only son and one of four children who will eventually inherit the Walton oil fortune. But Henry’s father is currently at the helm and runs everything with an iron fist. He manipulates everyone into doing as he wishes, including his children. He does not want Henry to play football but to work for him and he will do whatever it takes to make sure that happens. He has even chosen who he wishes his son to marry. This man is awful. He’s worse than awful. I just can’t think of the right word at the moment to describe how awful he is.

To say Elle is a genius seems like an understatement. Going to college is merely a formality. But no matter how smart she is, she can’t find a way to save her mother. Her mom is dying of cancer and things are progressing rapidly. In order to cope, she tries to keep her home life and school life separate. And when they intersect, everything implodes.

The time she spent with Henry was fun. Yes, she misses him, he made her laugh. But he wants a life as a professional football player. She wants a life in academia. They are not compatible, no matter how she tries to work the equation. But for some reason, Henry is trying to pursue her again, to get back together. She has to be strong and stick to what she believes. There is no future for them. So it needs to end now.

Henry both wants and needs Elle back. Not only to get his football game back on track, he misses her. He doesn’t know how it happened but in a very short time, he got attached. He approaches it like a football play book and maps out how he will win her back.



Henry is so cute as he tries different ways to win Elle back. But as I said before, these two are dealing with so much. Elle with her family and Henry with his father. When Elle finally sees the light, though, will it be too late to salvage everything? I loved the way she used her genius brain to formulate she and Henry’s relationship. Just like Henry used football plays, she analyzed everything, like an equation. What’s important, though, is that she finally figured out that Elle plus Henry equals forever. Now she just had to make sure it happened.



This book was amazing. So much happened. And as I said above, Mimi threw in one of her signature twists. I have no idea where this will go from here but I can’t wait to find out in the next book, Digging A Hole. When you read this, make SURE you read all of the Author’s Notes at the end. Mimi Jean lets us into her head a little bit. You won’t want to miss it.

Maybe it's just the perfect title for Mimi Jean Pamfiloff’s latest romance that has everything in it, from laughter to heartache, misunderstandings to synchronicity...and all those quirky events along the way? Priceless! Pure MJP!

If you ever wondered if the jock and the nerd could find common grounds for a relationship, yep, they can sure try, because opposites DO attract, right? Henry was the consummate jock, a big and powerful football player who believed that Brainiac Elle, complete with her taped glasses was his lucky game talisman. Why? Because after some pretty hot sex, before he could give his farewell speech, she dumped him, really. Elle gave him his own, well-used good bye speech and well, his game was downhill from there on and his heart wasn’t too happy, either.

Like with every story, there are secrets, heartbreaking secrets and even some fatherly blackmail, but sometimes love is worth going through hell to have.

The heroine: Elle - she is a certified genius who graduated high school at 13 and has lived a crazy life. She is now 19 and at college and bought a raffle ticket to win a date with Henry Walton. She wanted him to show her a good time and he did. Though she dumps him weeks later. She doesn’t see them as compatible. She needs someone with more in common and someone she can talk to and someone who would be there when things get difficult.

The Hero: Henry - He is 6’5”, 280 pounds and gorgeous. He is one of four heirs to the Walton fortune and is slated to be the top draft pick in the next NFL draft. He can’t believe it when Elle rejects him. He thinks he is a catch and that any woman would want to be him. He is great in bed and an all around fun guy.

The Story: After being dumped by Elle, Henry finds that he liked her more than he thought. Then when he gets in a slump on the field, he thinks she must be his good luck charm and is determined to get her back.

The book is told in dual points of view via dual narration. The narration was done by Tristan James and Lauren Sweet. I like Tristan’s voice when he is doing male characters, but his female voice grates on my nerves, so I really wish this one was done in duet narration. Lauren had a good male voice but I didn’t really like her regular voice.

I love the new adult sports romance. Though I wish this one was a bit longer and started when the Elle and Henry first met instead of weeks later when she dumps him. I love the first meeting in a romance novel and I don’t like second chance romances. Though I wouldn’t really consider this second chance. I have loved this OHellNo series. I have read 4 of the 7 so far, not including this one and I love Mimi Jean Pamfiloff’s sense of humor.

This book was very interesting and I loved the characters. Henry bothered me at first, but that was intentional, since he was pretty self absorbed and had some growing up to do. Which he did throughout the story. I thought Elle was a bit of a downer at the beginning until I began to understand her situation more. I ended up really liking both of them. There was also some quirkiness about this story that was so great.

Henry Walton, 22, is a college senior with dreams of the NFL. But his skills on the field have suffered since his fling with freshman Elle, fell apart. Henry and Elle, 19, were introduced in the first book, Smart Tass which dealt with Henry’s friend, Hunter, and Elle’s roommate, Tassie. It’s probably best to have read that book as this one both overlaps and jumps around in time.

Let me just say that all 2.5 stars (and then some) go to Henry. Though initially cocky and full of himself, his narration kept him cute rather than obnoxious. He had this humorous way of telling his side of the tale that made the story part romcom.

“‘I think my nuts are more like unripe kiwis. Firm, fuzzy, and not for eating. Licking is okay, though.’”

The ways Henry attempted to win Elle back were adorable if not outright swoonworthy at times. It was clear that he was a good guy at heart and one to root for.

Unfortunately, after a certain point, I was no longer rooting for him to be with Elle. Aside from her over-the-top nerdy characterization, she was a conceited, self-involved, selfish, immature brat. I lost count of all the times I felt bad for Henry. In certain places she was just outright mean to him. And while I felt sorry for her in regards to her family situation, it still did not excuse her behavior.

Then the story started to give me whiplash with all of the couple’s back and forth and Elle’s complete 180. Meanwhile, I lost more and more respect for Elle and liked her less and less with each passing page. Add in an immature misunderstanding and drama and the romantic comedy gave way to new adult angst.

Told via their dual first person POV, I’ll admit I did not see the big twist coming, nor did I foresee the cliffhanger. Yep, the story ends at 88% with a freaking cliffhanger! (That makes the statement "Stand Alone Story w/ Teaser for Next Book" in the book blurb incredibly misleading.)

It’s bad enough that Hunter and Tass’s ending in book one was abrupt, but Tass seems to spend all her time in this book coddling Elle’s pathetic ass. At this point, it's pretty clear that this series suffers from incomplete endings, the author either unable or unwilling to write a proper closure. I won’t be reading book 3 to get part two of Henry and Elle’s drama (as in Oh Hell No), but I’m still rooting for Hunter and Tassie to get the HEA novella they deserve.

Safety Recap: No cheating. It doesn’t appear they were with anyone else during their separation. No sex scenes with other people. Suggested/potential OW drama but it never plays out. No OM drama. No rape or sexual abuse. Cliffhanger ending.

So, Henry and Elle, the sideline characters from book 1, friends of Hunter and Tass, now got their own book!

Well, the story of Elle, a nerdy girl with a high IQ only used Henry, a trunk of a hunk defense liner, for 'release' and it was fine for them both...

But despite the odds, despite the backgrounds and Elle's personal reasons for backing away from any prospect of a relationship, when she dumps Henry, his play mojo goes to shit and his future of playing football is at odds...

But then, the circumstances change, some hidden inner 'feels' and realisations come to light...and Henry changes his posture, his actions and everything becomes a more serious game against the pressure of his father's agenda, bringing out the merciless and cruel facts of his world, the world he tried so hard to escape to begin with...

And now, they have come to terms of them being together but even now, the hardship of it takes the win...or does it?!

I ll admit that after the first book, which was just okay, I was a bit reluctant to read book 2, but, as always, I have sucumbed to the spells of curiousity and voila! This was better than book 1, for me, at least...and it ends in a cliffy 😒 so well, who knows if i ll read the next book and I probably will...

but until then...ta-ta to the 'jock vs. nerdy chick' themes...

Wow.. this author has a way of leaving me satisfied with the couple’s HEA and still leave me super curious about the next book. Her little cliffhangers are addicting. Can’t wait to see what happened with Henry’s family.

I didn’t quite loved this book like the first one in the series but it was an interesting read nevertheless. Loved this author’s work. I’ll definitely check the rest of the series.

Henry was a gentle giant, big on the outside and really caring and loving on the inside. Loved to see his growth and how he dealt with stuff.
Elle was funny and completely matter-of-fact, she was a genius. Period. And she dealt with everything like a genius, always trying to find a solution. Sometimes that messed everything up, but she was just doing her best.

Anyway, really good book. Loved reading it. Great series.

5 Wonderful Golden-Hearted Henry Stars

I usually do not write the reviews here. I feel like there are so many people already doing this much better than I ever could. But I just cannot keep quiet about this book.

If I could give it six, or seven, or maybe entire ten stars, trust me, I would. This book has blown my mind so much, I would give it all the stars in the universe.

After reading book # 1 in the series (Smart Tass), I thought there is no way, no way Mimi Jean can write anything better in the series. Well, I started reading book #2 and realized I need to give it another think. I don’t know how the author managed to do it, but she made the second book even better.

Maybe it’s just my mood is more aligned with Book 2 today, or maybe I just see a little bit of myself in the main characters... I couldn’t stop reading it, I read it all night, at times laughing, and at one point bawling my eyes out, but the entire time rooting for both Henry and Elle, till the very end.

I will say something awful now which will definitely horrify my best friend and a lot of readers in general: I love, love, love reading reviews with spoilers. I can’t sit in my seat, I need to KNOW. Therefore, I also don’t mind sharing what happened, and when I’m overexcited about something, I often forget that the other person hasn’t read this yet; I keep discussing it as if they did, and ultimately giving away so many spoilers. What can I say? I’m a blonde for a reason. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I literally have to strangle myself not to do it here. I’ll just say, Henry, oh Henry! When I first met you in Hunter’s and Tassie’s story, I had no idea what kind of person you actually were. I just looked at you, judged you, found wanting, and condoned you to life in one of my little prejudice compartment boxes. Because it’s easy to label people right away, without the second look. I was no better than those Tri-Kappa sisters from the first book. There is so much more to the person than meets the eye, and Henry, oh dear Henry, I had no idea! You rocked that compartment box of prejudices, got out of it, and turned it into a pedestal... My only excuse is that Elle with her genius IQ of over 140 did exactly the same thing in the beginning, and I’m nowhere near as smart as her. Again, what can I say? We are both blondes for a reason. Even the smartest people sometimes miss the most obvious and important things. I’ll stop talking about Henry here because the story is bursting right out of me, but if I say one more word, you will know what happened. I just want to sing him praises forever. Not that he hasn’t messed up. Of course, he did. But guess what? So did Ellie.

And Elle, oh Elle! My poor thing! The things that you had to go through in this story. There were a few chapters with her when I was on the verge of a heart-attack, I was so worried. She was such a beautiful collection of contradictions. So smart, literally genius, but sometimes not seeing the most important things happening right under her nose. Nerdy, but girly, and sexy. At times such a smart-ass, so strong, holding her ground and standing up for her self; other times so poignantly vulnerable. Yet always, always endearing! I just wanted to give her a big teddy-bear hug entire time. Thanks god, most of the time there was Henry to do it.

I love this book. Please-please-please, read it! It’s wonderful!

Oh Henry is right, swoon.


I did not know what to expect with this book. In Smart Tass, Henry could have been preserved as the dumb jock type, he didn't talk much and his actions seemed very neanderthal-ish. In a way it's almost better to read this as a stand alone, in this one you see there's so much more to Henry. He is that one one sweet jock who is so cocky and full of himself but he's adorable at it you can't help but like him. What Henry doesn't let on is how unsupportive his parents are and how everything he's doing is just to prove his father wrong. Elle, I don't know what I think about Elle, she's brilliant and she's not humble about it. She never wanted to go to college she's been reading college type text books and basically everything she can get her hands on since she was little. The only reason she's at the college is that it is her mother's dying that Elle goes. Elle is a sweetie but she can be a bitch when her defenses are up. Elle is devastated her mother is going to die and the only way she can deal with it is to completely separate her home and school life.

Henry and Elle are an odd couple who just seem to work. Of course they don't see that until it's too late. Elle thinks she wants one thing and ends the non-relationship they are in and suddenly Henry starts to play badly, and he can't afford that he in h is senior year he needs to play well so he can get drafted. Henry doesn't believe in superstition like some football players but it isn't until he realizes he played his best games when Elle was around. Thoroughly convinced that Elle is his good luck charm he is determined to get her back with three sisters he thinks he knows exactly how to do it, he really does pull out all the stops trying to win her back, but he goes too far when he shows up at her family's house and breaks down that carefully placed wall erected. The more Henry tries to win her back the more he realizes it was more than just sex with Elle. Elle can't fathom why Henry, she eventually figures it out that he may not be what she expected or wanted but he definitely is what she needs. But then the unthinkable happens and Henry life turns upside down. Can Elle woman up and face it with Henry or will she use it as an excuse to bail?

Overall, it's typical Mimi, well it's not quite typical Mimi the MC hero isn't an asshole. The narration is first person POV that switches between Elle and Henry. It has that trademark snarky and humorous storytelling that made me fall in love with her books. IT'S NOT A CLIFFHANGER, not technically. Henry and Elle's story does have a conclusion but the ending is a teaser for the next book Digging A Hole.

Oh my, Oh Henry is oh so good. This is a book that gives you ALL the feels, makes you laugh, makes you sigh, makes you giddy and pretty hot! I LOVE this book. Of course there was the infamous Mimi cliffhanger but it soooo worth it. This book leaves you feeling so positive and indistructable. Ugh, just so freaking good!

 Henry is a college football star who has it all- talent, looks, money and a sure shot at the NFL.  Down side- his dad is a cooperate manipulative AHole. 

Elle is an impossibly smart nerd who knows what she is and what she wants out of life. What she wants the big O...Henry stress relief. 

Two seemingly different people come together and find out they are more alike then they thought. 

Henry and Elle are the most perfect characters ever.

I say this all the time but i swear every book MJP writes is better then the last.

Oh Henry, ohhellno book 2

I read a complimentary advance copy of this book which I have voluntarily reviewed.

So I adored hunter and tassie, but whilst reading their story there was Ella and Henry going on in the wings. I wanted to know what was happening and how it would unfold

. HURRAH!! For Book 2

I loved Henry from the get go and in this book we see him in depth, gone is the thought that he was 'just a jock' who has the looks, the wealth and the family connections.
Behind that smoke screen he is sweet, thoughtful and family orientated despite his dad being a total git. Then we have Ella, cute, superbrained, emotionally self repressed..they are perfect for each other.

Henry's got his work cut out trying convince her of that.
Whilst fighting their own personal wars, asking for help, dropping their pride. fighting for their dreams.

Beautiful story, filled with laugh out loud moments and FEELS!!! I want book 3 NOW!!!

The OHHELLNO series is aptly named. I used to like this author, but this was a train wreck. I finished somehow, and I still have no idea what the MCS even like about each other. I'm probably gonna dnf the 3rd book.

Yay, i really loved this book and i managed to read it in only one day it was that epic.

Henry is a man on a mission and is actually quite sweet and determined, despite his rather nasty father.

Meanwhile Elle is a woman who is very intelligent, behind her years, but is trying to keep her college/friend life separate from her home life where things are not ok at all.

Both have trust issues, but Henry is able to overcome his faster than Elle, but Henry shows that he is willing to make the sacrifice for them, where it takes Elle that little bit longer.

We also find that Elle is reading a Mimi Jean book, but you will just have to find out which one that is for yourself.

The book ends on a cliff hangar, so if that is not your type of thing then you will be disappointed, for me it just amps up the excitement for book three!

I enjoyed reading the next installment of this series. Henry & Elle have their some real life problems but I love how they work together and are willing to sacrifice in order to make it work. Mimi Jean Pamfiloff never fails to make me smile and laugh outloud while reading one of her books. Oh, Henry is no exception. The jock and the nerd, who woulda thunk they'd fit together so well? Of course it took a lot of bumps along the way before things became smooth sailing.

Henry and Elle come from opposite ends of the spectrum in almost everything: he's rich, she's not; he lives football, she hates it; she has a loving family, his is a nightmare; she's super intelligent, he's an average student; he's a party animal, she's a stay at home binge watching Star Trek fan. But, when they finally come together and work as a team, they are pretty much unstoppable.

Opposites do attract and love will conquer all if we work at it. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Loved the story and the main characters. Elle's intelligence is sexy and Henry's devotion to her, once he figures out what he may have lost, is sexier. There is no greater gift than to sacrifice our own dreams in order to give the ones we love happiness.

Apparently Henry is quite gifted, “wow. You really rode me hard.” I chuckle, lying next to him with my head on his bare chest. He’s well-endowed, so it’s probably going to take a day or two for me to recover." Henry really had quite the personality, “don’t you worry, little woman. I’m going to give you the Oh-Henry special, with a few extra Os thrown in.” He grins with a dimply smile..." I really liked this book, Elle was quirky and sassy.

Elle is dealing with extremely heavy things at home and wants to keep her college life fun and easy. In book one, she got slightly involved with hunky football player, Henry, because he was fun and made her feel good. In Oh Henry, Elle and Henry spend more time arguing with themselves and each other about why they don't work well together. Elle is convinced that they are too different, Henry chases, and they make a mess of everything. When Elle finally is forced to let Henry into her real life, and learns how wrong she was about his, things change. But just when you think things are going to be okay, along comes another major twist. Can they make it work? Mimi Jean cliffhanger leaves you waiting to find out!!

Oh Henry has everything you could want or need in a love story. It's funny, quirky, with drama, conflicts and lots of hot sex.
Henry is a 280 pound arrogant, hot, rich and talented jock hoping to play pro ball.
Elle is a 120 pound nerd, has a genius IQ and finished high school by 13. She also wants to build a tele transporter
Two people couldn't be more opposite but somehow got under each other's skin and bonded. The nerd has no problem standing up to jock and it turns him on. The two together are a hoot but without each other their incomplete. I would highly recommend this book.

This was a good, quick read that was not what I typically expect from Mimi but no matter, I loved this book from the start. This was a sweet read where Henry spends his time pursuing Elle in some of the most selfless ways while trying to navigate his future through his father's manipulation. Elle on the other hand was not the typical heroine as she resists Henry's overtures at first until she realizes that she wanted to be with him as he proves to her that he is the man she needs in her life as her family faces some devastating real life issues. When the pair realizes that they are meant to be together it made this book such a sweet read as they team up to face a huge challenge. I enjoyed the characters as well as the plot of this book. I could not get enough of the story once I started it and would recommend this book to others.

Ok sage advice here, make sure before reading you have a block of time carved out for this one, because if you are anything like me it will keep your eyes glued for a solid few hours. Man I devoured this book and it was so beyond devilishly delicious.

Lough out Loud, sweetly sexy, emotionally gripping romantic adventure with a small family drama twist and tiny cliff at the very end.

Henry Walton is sweet, funny, sexy and all so alpha male. He is also from a very powerful family with a highly manipulative father running the show. Elle is sweet, sexy, sassy and off the charts smart (super computer smart) and separating her school life and home life (which at this point is full of lost hope) is critical to her sanity (or so she believes) until Henry comes crashing in and confusing everything up. She can't seem to fathom being wrong about something, but maybe she is. Loved it so much!!! Can't wait for the next in the series.

So, Mimi, you better be writing !!! What a cruel trick to play!
Firstly, thanks to Mimi and her team for sending me an ARC copy of this awesome book. It was great to catch up with Tass and Hunter again! and Henry and Elle were so entertaining.
I loved that I was able to cackle! yes! out loud in several places at the comments one or other made.
I give his man gear a squeeze, and his whole body freezes up, like he's sure I'm going to rip off his manhood.
"The truth is Henry, I stopped seeing you because your goal post isn't stiff enough to keep me entertained"
Unexpectedly, Henry cups my left breast. "I know exactly how you feel. There's just not enough here to hold my interest. Guess I'll have to find a girl with adult sized pom-poms to inspire me."
Henry and Elle are on again off again through a lot of the story, but the chemistry is always there, along with the couples humor. Both characters have a lot to contend with in their separate lives, and try to keep each other away from their individual lives. Yeah, that works a treat!
Tragedy strikes both of them,in different ways and it is an eye opener and huge learning curve for the pair, both individually and as a couple. They both come to realise just how much they need each other.


Mimi, writes some of the best, most entertaining books out there, and Oh, Henry is no exception, until you get to the end.
I'm really upset, Mimi, but I still love you. Or not.......

How can you not love a well written book where the super hot jock lacks confidence and is desperate to get the girl, whilst said girl is a sassy super-nerd who refuses to give him a chance? And whilst on the surface this appears to be a lighthearted beach read, it actually has a lot more depth to the story but without overly battering my emotions.

There was a good mix of angst, love, romance, embarrassment and snarky comments all woven into a fast-paced story with a very different plot, that certainly didn't fit the 'contemporary romance cliche' mould. At first glance the hero and heroine appear to fit the cliche of hot guy, nerdy girl but it soon becomes clear that not only does Elle not mine being a nerd but she actually owns it. On the surface Henry is the 'have-it-all' football star, but he wasn't the arrogant guy you'd expect, thanks (or possibly no thanks) to his parents.

Stupid me hasn't read Smart Tass (OHellNo #1) and whilst Oh Henry alluded to events in this book, they were carefully written so as to avoid/minimise spoilers without leaving you wandering what on earth had happened. It just made me desperate to read Smart Tass!



I enjoyed this book from start to finish ..... apart from the sneaky little almost cliff-hanger ending, but even that isn't enough to lower my rating. Even though it isn't that short a book it was a 'one sitting read' just because I didn't want to put it down.

Oh, Henry! You are such a player! And not only on the football field.

He is the best. If he continues to play he has been playing, when he graduates this year he will be going on to the NFL with a very lucrative contract. His love and life is playing football. Girls are just for hookups and passing the time until he meets Elle.

Elle is super smart. She is truly a genius. Hooking up with Henry was her way to create a separate bubble of personal space where she can forget her mother is dying of cancer. This is the only way she can handle all the stress.

Falling in love was never their intention. It just happened. But both of them have dreams that will separate them. In addition, Henry's family is pushing for him to join the family business. The pressure on them is extreme.

This is a story of young adults maturing in a hurry in order to deal with what life has dished out to them. Elle grew up fast, always seeking knowledge and dealing with her mother's illness. Henry has lived free of worries except for his father's constant control of his life. Now that he is about to graduate, life is about to change drastically. It is time for Henry to learn what sacrifice is all about.

Our author has created a very believable story of two characters dealing and learning with life. These characters are not the usual selfish young adults. They are responsible and loving individuals who must take charge of their maturity and learn to survive the obstacles in their way. I recommend this entire series to all readers 18+.

Oh Henry

You have no idea how by the end of reading this book will you be saying Oh, Henry or maybe even Oh, Elle. This book picks up right after book 1 Smart Tass, Elle is a smart, sassy, nerd with big balls and who is not afraid to tell you how it is. Henry is a top NFL draft hopeful who is hot, loyal, has that jock thing down, and for some unknown reason to him has grown attached to a certain nerdy girl. Henry is one the best defensive players on the team but lately his game is off and he couldn't figure out the cause. Well like all things the cause becomes quite clear and poor guy it doesn't look good. Elle has snuck in under the old Henry Walton armor and now he is screwed.

Elle is what you would call a genius. At young age she started high school and could've gone to college and graduated but because kids can be cruel and ruthless. The shy brainy girl had to grow up faster than others. Now she feels like an outsider who doesn't fit in anywhere. With things at home hard college has become an escape. With Tass by her side she can do anything maybe even survive some heartache on the home front and maybe on the Henry front too.

Mimi Jean has written another amazing tale of love, football, snark, smart-assery comments, and heart. Henry and Elle go through a lot to reach to a point where they are safe with each other. This lovely talented author of ours has really set up an amazing world for us to fall in. Not to say she hasn't left her trademark cliffhangers in there. Oh she has that devious evil genius Mimi Jean Pamfiloff but she even threw in a unexpected twist. Needless to say when you read it you to will yelling at your book or e-reader "which one are you talking about???"

Psmfiloff books are so fun to read, no matter what the subject she's writing about. Here, the secomd book in the Oh Hell No series, she continues the theme of men and women finding each other even though they are painfully different. Henry has lost Elle in the beginning. Elle has a bit of a superiority complex, assuming Henry is just coasting through a fun existence in college, while she works hard. Henry realizes how much he misses her.

Love Henry, as he's not your typical football jerk. I actually think he's my favorite character in the series thus far. He's very relatable. He genuinely loves football, but also sees it as a way to escape his rich father's demands. Loves his siblings, and his interactions with his youngest sister were very sweet. Henry gave up so much for Elle.

I loved how Elle and Henry were so different, yet they finally really LOOKED at each other and realized that it didn't matter how different they were. And then in true Pamfiloff fashion, the tension is ramped up and cliffhanger comes. You will love this book and hate this book at the end. An enjoyable read.

In this book, we have, Henry, the ultimate American Football Quarterback stud muffin of a guy. He is a huge defensive end football jock, about 6'4" and 280lbs a rock solid kind of guy.

Elle, is a very petit bookworm girl. She is the ultimate brainiac. Knows everything under the sun, as she has always been a child genius. Elle was a teenager going to one omg the Ivy League schools, but she left and tried to be 'normal' by sticking with her age group of kids and going the normal route to college.

Elle's mother is dying. She has some form of cancer that has her bed ridden. No one seems to be able to help her. Henry's father happens to own the pharamsutical company that has a drug that has been shown to help certain types of cancer patients. Will Henry's dad help? Or will he make Henry give up something he loves to do?

There are lot of twists and turns in this book. But each twist makes it all worth it!!

I literally could not put this book down. It held my attention from the first page. I just wanted this pair of mismatched lovers to have their happily ever after. Henry has a depth to his character that his girlfriend Elle did not realise and she about to regret dumping him. Henry is devastated Elle has just rejected him and he knows now that she is his good luck charm. He has to try and convince her to give him another chance, he needs Elle to be there at his football games so he can play well and go pro after college instead of working for his father's company. But it appears there will be more problems for Henry and Elle than just football. I liked this book so much I went and purchased the first one in this series. A big thank you to Mimi Jean Pamfiloff for the review copy. Loved it. Can't wait for the next book in this series. Highly recommend this author and her books.
