Christine DePetrillo can often be found hugging trees, conversing with dragonflies, and walking barefoot through sun-warmed soil. She finds joy in listening to the wind, bathing in moonlight, and breathing in the fragrances of things that bloom. If she had her way, the sky would be the only roof over her head.
Her love of nature seeps into every story she tells. As does her obsession with bearded mountain men who build, often smell like sawdust, and know how to cherish the women they love. Today she writes tales meant to make you laugh, maybe make you sweat, and definitely make you believe in the power of love.
She lives in Vermont with her husband and cat who defend her fiercely from all evils.
Time travel, shifters and a goddess that punishes an alpha for his arrogance in turning his fellow warriors/soldiers without their or her permission, by sending him to the future – sounds good right? But alas for me it wasn’t the yummy little morsel I was hoping for. Personally, I wanted more sizzle and spark, I love shifter romances but this just missed the spot. The first half of the book was rather enjoyable, but as the energy I was expecting didn’t manifest, I found my attention and interest dissipating.
Also, Reardon’s time travel into the future and him getting used to what would have been drastically different from the Ireland he had been removed from, was far too smooth a transition.
*UPDATE* Okay, you guys, I did it, I finished it. And I just... gahhh, I am feeling a lot of things but just don’t know how to articulate them! My issue here is that there are parts of this book that I really enjoyed. The hero was reeeaaallll sexy - Irish werewolf? Yes please - but the heroine and her unbelievable stupidity when it comes to caring for/running a wolf sanctuary made me want to pull all of my hair out (keep reading for full rant on that subject 😜). I could have done without the whole “goddess” storyline, it felt unnecessary and she was a raging/vindictive bitch - just sayin’. Anyways, I am feeling so torn because parts of this book were really good and very compelling but other parts (more parts if we’re being honest 😕) were so infuriating I wanted to punch the heroine in her dumb face. So two stars. I just couldn’t get over the heroine. Grrrrrrr.
There are a lot of things you can get over when reading romance, right? A lot of unrealistic situations, insta loves, arranged marriages, paranormals, etc. but sometimes there are things that we just can’t get over and ooooh boy, I have found one here.
Guys, WOLVES ARE NOT DOGS. I don’t mean to go the way of Marshall and suggest that they’re all “big and bad,” but you know what they are? Wild fucking animals. They’re wild animals. They are not dogs. Just because they come from the same “family” does not mean a wolf will act like a dog. Ever.
I’m not trying to spew hatred for wolves. Or insinuate that they are mindless, killing creatures. I feel quite the opposite, actually. I worked at a wolf sanctuary in Montana for a few years. I adore wolves. They are unbelievable, stunning, ridiculously intelligent animals. But they are not dogs. They way this heroine acts towards wolves (I’m not talking werewolves, we’re talking wolf-wolves - but really, it doesn’t matter either way!) is incredibly stupid. And she is supposed to be the EXPERT?! No just no.
I can’t even imagine what would’ve happened if someone I worked with had acted this carelessly around the wolves we cared for. I don’t want to imagine it. Not to say that the wolves would’ve absolutely attacked a human because that may or may not be true. The point is the risk is there. For both the animal and the human.
Also, the entire point of a wolf sanctuary is to keep the animals in an environment as similar to their natural environment as possible. Ie: don’t fucking teach them that humans are safe and carry food and treats! Want to know what that does? That wolf gets let out into the wild and thinks humans are its friends and bites someone looking for treats or ends up hurt or dead because it scared the shit out of someone or met up with the wrong human. You’re trying to rehabilitate them! That means trying to maintain their habits as wild animals!
I’m just going to say it one more time, wolves are not dogs. They come from the same family, but domesticated dogs have genes that allow them to be domesticated. Wolves do not have those same genes. Even the “wolf-dog” breeds that you see nowadays have a very small amount of wolf DNA. And you know what, those breeds tend to be the most stubborn, headstrong, difficult to train, independent, and potentially violent dogs you can have. They can be incredible dogs, but my point is that if wolf-dogs posses those characteristics with just minimal wolf DNA, imagine what 100% wolf is like. They are not dogs. They are not domesticated. They are wild animals. They are meant to be wild animals. Treat them as such.
I’m so sorry everyone. My rant is over for now. I’m going to keep trying with this book, but I am so worked up about this. Just GAH!!
Every once in a while I like to change the genre of what I read and because I do enjoy the occasional shifter romance, I decided to read this one and I actually really enjoyed it! This is my first time reading this author and it won't be my last!! This is a fast moving story, there's no great angst, lots of humour and of course the hero being a hunky werewolf doesn't hurt either! lol
Brandy loves her work at the wolf sanctuary and when she rescues a huge black wolf whose leg is caught in a trap, little does she know how her life will change forever! Reardon, a warrior werewolf from medieval Ireland, is banished to the present time and he ends up at a wolf sanctuary. There he learns to redeem himself and falls in love with Brandy but things are not going to be easy!!!
A combination time travel and werewolf story! And you get the best of both worlds! Very different take on werewolves and the time shift is forward, so both unexpected. I really liked it! Hope to read on in this series! Good read!
I really really liked this ...... but I also really really wish some things had been done differently....... The story for once is actually just was advertised/described and that’s both good and bad per se.... Good because of course your getting what you obviously must’ve wanted since you so look at this book, like myself... Bad,per se because personally I could have done w/out at least 75% less of the goddess in the story......I could have enjoyed the story a 100% more if the goddess angle had ONLY been an angle to get our H and h together and she’d left him alone figure out how to redeem himself from his past.... That’s what was so weird for/to me was the first half of the book soo concentrated on Reardon and Brandy getting close,( mainly in his wold form) that by the time they are FINALLY getting close to each other both inhuman form, a little over half the story is gone and then suddenly redemption matters and the goddess is acting like a femme dog..... Then is like a huge rush and a even bigger info dump on all the characters explaining who and what Reardon is,and the “goddess” etc..... It was too much and the vindictive “goddess” almost ruined it for me,sure sadly she’d been there all along but then in the last few chapters her appearance just kinda hijacked the story and took it from a fun romance to something else....
I feel like you’ve redemption is truly going to be a part of the story it should’ve been a bigger part not just not just a voice in his head there just to mess around with him whenever it seem like he was happy..... Sure Riordan did need to redeem himself he done something horrible but falling in love changed him and that should’ve been enough if that was what the goddess really wanted.... Towards the end it was like our hero being changed by love wasn’t enough and the writer wanted more but it didn’t feel like she’d knew what that was...... Soo suddenly the goddess is there playing games and being cruel all the while looking to still punish Reardon, looking and acting like giant hypocrite to me...... If that was a bigger point to the story it should have been all along not shoved in at the end.... I LOVED the idea 💡 of a woman who clearly and dearly loves ❤️ wolves and wants to have her very own werewolf to love gets that wish, I think that is an amazing angle for a story and this one would have been sooo sooooooo much better if had stuck more w/that and left the goddess in the past/first 1/of the book.... Thanks Didn’t love it all but I still had A great time and I’d happily recommend it.....
At Silver Moon Wolf Sanctuary, Dr. Brandy Wendon finds werewolf Reardon McAlator in a trap on the border of her sanctuary; she takes him back to the clinic and tends his wounds. Reardon is in his wolf form and makes friends with her and her sister's son, Dylan, her mother, Meredith and the rest of the wolves in the sanctuary. Brandy comes to crave a Wolf Kiss from Alator and then later from Reardon in human form too.
Dylan names him Alator as Readon stays in wolf form and keeps his secret. He is banished from his home in Ireland for making the Goddess of the Wild. Reardon turned his four best friends to wolves without their permission or the permission of the Goddess for personal gain and to keep his reputation as an unbeaten warrior. This sets up the plot of how Reardon and Brandy find a way to appease the Goddess and find happiness together at the Silver Moon Wolf Sanctuary. I loved this paranormal love story.
3.5 I quite enjoyed this book. I was a little hesitant because of a review I read but I'm glad I gave it a try anyway. This has a time travel element but its not the whole book. Reardon was sent to the present because he pissed off a goddess. He has to do something worthy to go back home. But he falls pretty quickly for Brandy who just so happens to own a wolf sanctuary. I honestly just gobbled this up. Brandy and Reardon were pretty great together . Heck the whole cast aside from the grumpy neighbor Hank and the Goddess were great. I'm looking forward to book two.
This is my first read by this author! I absolutely loved the heroine in this! She owns a wolf sanctuary and is a single mom. The hero is injured in wolf form when the heroine meets him, and of course, she helps him but thinks he's a wolf.
This was hot and sexy, and it definitely made me want to read more.
3 1/2 stars ( I round up ) This book was interesting. That the Celtic Goddess punished the Hero for his actions. Through said punishment he found his soul mate. There was a lot of fillers ( words and such that don't move the storyline ). I still enjoyed the book.
The writing, while not totally polished, doesn't contain any glaring errors and only a few small discrepancies, which in no way got my panties in a twist. The story is decent, and the writing didn't irritate the hell out of me, so an extra half star for that. Nice characters.
Ancient Irish warrior, Reardon McAlator, angers his protector, Flidae (the Celtic goddess of wild things), when he arbitrarily misuses his unique gift to turn some of his fellow warriors into wolf shifters like himself. Flidae banishes Reardon to a completely different time and place as punishment, until he can complete an undetermined act of "worthiness".
Arriving in modern Vermont, near the wolf sanctuary of Dr. Brandy Wendon, Reardon couldn't have planned a more accommodating welcome. Getting his leg caught in claw trap notwithstanding, having Brandy care, cuddle and nurse his wolf back to health is like being in a paradise that Reardon never knew existed. I was intrigued by this promise of a time-travelling wolf shifter romance, but eventually found myself skimming over the last half in disappointment.
My grievances include spoilers. ***SPOILERS AHEAD***
The world building is very juvenile. Time travel can be very difficult to write well because there is much potential for period conflict and inconsistencies. However it can be done better than this. How did Reardon understand the modern vernacular after only 2-3 weeks in wolf form? Vocabulary is changing constantly and even now we are constantly adapting to changes in words, manners and customs. Yet, once Reardon finally gets a chance to change into human form he is about to grab a large sum of cash that Brandy had lying around the house, make his way into town on foot (there's only one road, I get it...), purchase a new wardrobe (including underwear boxers - ancient warrior, remember?), and pick up on current gestures like shaking hands and buying wine for his first ever date. For a novice moderner, he is able to complete these chores while on foot and still able to get back the wolf sanctuary before Brandy can get there by car. Was Brandy driving in circles all afternoon while Reardon fumbled through his shopping spree?
Here's another example: Reardon's super wolf shifter senses allow him to hear an oncoming vehicle before Brandy could see it coming. He is able to save her by running forward to pull her to safety. Think about it. He doesn't know about cars and has never seen a car accident. How is he able to distinguish this danger from amongst all the other new sounds that he is encountering. Later on, he is able to hear the buzzing of a new security system but has not idea what that is about. Of course.
The secondary characters are unidimensional and have not been given much individuality. There's ex-boyfriend Parker who is a good guy and brotherly towards Brandy, Parker's fianceé who is shallow and jealous, Brandy's mom Meredith who is a great mom, Brandy's nephew/adopted son who is adorable and loves wolves (Reardon's wolf in particular), and the mean neighbour Hank Swift who is the villain who hates wolves (reason given is because he is a widower). Don't forget, the vengeful and fickle goddess Flidae, who had immense power but acts like an adolescent who doesn't really know what her next move will be. Clichés all of them. You can read the whole book but you won't find more detail or depth about these people than what I have stated here. There just isn't any more.
The result comes across as a simple, if incongruous, world where the main characters' actions often don't make sense. This may be more entertaining if I was in a generous mood and willing to overlook the actual details of the story.

Wolf's Kiss did absolutely nothing for me. I could not get into this one no matter how hard I tried, and it took me forever to finish it. I found the story to be too wordy with poorly defined characters, way too many explanations where a little mystery would have sufficed as long as it is explained later, and on another hand no explanation at all. The story is choppy and not well written.
Wolf's Kiss is very repetitive with lackluster characters in Brandy, her cliche of a sister's son/her son Dylan (aunt or auntie would have been just fine), and mother Meredith. Reardon is no alpha. With that said, there is very little reason to believe that the book features a strong alpha in either of its lead characters, which makes for a very dull read. There is no chemistry between any of the characters or a discernible plot to follow once Reardon is banished to the twenty-first century after he sparks Celtic goddess Flidae's ire for sharing his gift/curse.
I hoped this was going to be a series that I would look forward to reading in 2020; however, I believe I'm one and done.
Hottie-Irish-McHotPants meets his Fairy Lass in this cliche but fun paranormal romance
Mercenary Reardon McAlator makes a huge mistake by angering the celtic goddess of wild things, Flidae. The goddess then sends Reardon to another time to find the McGuffin... that's right, she sends him on a quest he completely ignores...
I have no idea where the author initially was going with the plot, but it's insanely clear the first few chapters were just to land Hottie-Irish-McHotPants in the present so he could meet his red-headed fairy-lass so they could get it on... because it's so amazing to have hot, wild sex with an Irishman from the past when the main character "has never done this before"... and that's discounting the wolves-are-dogs feel of the wolf sanctuary Brandy runs with her friend, Dr. Distracted.
To be perfectly fair, once you get past these hang-ups, the story isn't too bad. If entertainment is the goal, this book was entertaining. It had a beginning, middle, and end. It also wrapped up satisfactorily, and gave a teaser for the next installment.... where we meet Irish-McHotPants junior, who will have brother issues as he likely finds his soul mate-- because these wolf-shifter paranormal romance novellas all read the same.
It's not a bad little novella-- especially since I downloaded it for free on Amazon (through a Facebook advertisement)-- it is written well and with minimal errors... but it falls a little flat on plot and character development... but mostly on plot. I loathe McGuffins. Don't waste my time reading those pages if you're going to waste those pages writing something you're never going to use.
Not bad, but not great... but interesting.... but nothing to entice me to read more.
The author has a lot of potential, but needs to refine her storytelling to use all the plot points and to make even the fantasy bits more believable.
Faced with his mercenary army’s first defeat, warrior Reardon McAlator, does the unthinkable. Reardon shares his shifter gift with a few of his fighters to keep their reputation and incoming riches. Angry, his men circle Reardon, berating him for the unwelcome gift. A bright accompanies Flidae, goddess of wild things, she’s angry over how the gift was used and shared. She explains why it was given to Reardon then punishes them all. The quintet is banished from Ireland, separated from each other and transported to different times and places her protection. They can only be redeemed by worthy, selfless deeds.
Reardon’s whisked near the gates of Dr. Brandy Wendon’s Moon Wolf Sanctuary and promptly caught in a trap. Brandy and vet friend Parker, rescue Reardon in and check his health Intrigued by Brandy, Reardon’s possessive and protective of her, he stays in wolf form to be near her. Noting the sanctuary wolves bow to Reardon’s dominance, Brandy names him Alator. Meanwhile, Brandy longs for an insta-love’ connection. Brandy’s breathless meeting Reardon in a social setting in his human form. He’s more determined to win her over
This series foundation offering by a new to me author didn’t suit my taste. World building and rules were needed, not puzzles; ignorance and knowledge of the same issue on a page; multiple bland and/or named brief characters are time-sucks; loose plot and uneven pacing added to the issues. That said, the smattering of fun and intrigue were welcome, fish out of water trope worked and the romance was acceptable. However, this reader isn’t intrigued enough to continue the series. Rating: 2stars
This story as a lot of potential, there were some really great aspects to the story and some that didn’t work for me. I have a hard time with animal stories if I know there is going to be abuse or mistreatment; this book didn’t have that but it does have a character that I am unsure of. I will explain that.
The positives: Reardon. Can you say Irish, and werewolf?! He was such a wonderful character; hard and gruff, but passionate and sweet. I loved his dialogue and attitude; just great to read. I liked the plot of the story and the way the story unfolded. It was also packed with action as well as steamy moments. I thought it was quite original. I really liked the interactions between Reardon and Brandy; they seemed like opposites yet balanced each other nicely. Also the secondary story line of lycanthropy was fun and I think really helped me to like Brandy a bit, though it does seem like a weird hobby for a (non-crazy) scientist, LOL.
Not to positive: Brandy. While she was a nice character and had a great heart, but her education I wolfs and wolf care was a bit lacking… I know that wolfs are mysterious and often compared to dogs but they are not dogs and the way that Brandy talked about and treated her wolfs was more like a dog sitter rather than a biologist/vet. That is my only real issue with the story, it’s not major but it did lesson my enjoyment of the story.
Overall I thought this was a good read and it was entertaining. It was a nice story and I will try this author again in the future.
Wolf Kiss Warrior Wolves Series, Book One Christine DePetrillo Pub 2017 Paranormal Romance BookBub 5 Stars 🌟
This book has a great cover. It’s not done in flashy, eye-catching colors, but the artwork is great and the use of each item and arrangement is meticulous. And there is nothing cutesy about it. Kudos to Wicked Smart Designs for an excellent cover.
This book starts out in historical times, back when soldiers still fought with swords and spears. We meet a man, Reardon, who can turn into a wolf. Reardon is a large man with black hair and beard and green eyes. Usually he and his mercenary army win, but this time they were beaten badly. Without asking, he turns his four top men into wolves as they sleep, making them super soldiers, killing machines like himself. This angers his goddess. The next thing we know we are meeting wild animal vet, Parker, and keeper of a wolf preserve, Brandy, as they race off following the howl of an injured wolf. They find a massive black wolf with intense green eyes caught in a trap.
What does it take to appease an angry goddess? Comic books for strategy. A 10-year-old for a cheering section. A mother for keeping everyone fed. A wolf pack in need of an Alpha. A goofy Omega to help the Alpha to chill out fast. Determination. And Love.
But will Reardon and Brandy survive to enjoy it? They get separated. He gets leashed with a gold leash. Brandy is forced to try to kill him. Dylan is missing. Chella isn’t herself. Parker is totally freaked out. Brandy is passed out. But this is totally Recommended!
I have mixed feelings about this book. Part of the storyline is quite good. It's about a soldier/wolf who behaved badly whilst being a soldier. He does something that he shouldn't have done for the sake of fame and fortune. Now he has to pay for it. So the goddess has decided.
Reardon is renowned for his battles. He is a winner and not a quitter. When he is faced with an enemy who gets the better of him, he does the unthinkable and now has to face the goddess's wrath. He banished from his beloved Ireland to a land strange to him, far advanced than where he comes from. Here he meets Brandy who runs a wolf shelter. She takes him under her wings and to her he is just a wolf. She nurses him back to health until she can introduce him to the other wolves in the sanctuary. He likes this place. He is loved by Brandy and her son who plays catch with him just like he would a dog. When Reardon is getting used to this world, the wicked goddess starts to torment him. He has to prove himself worthy. She is relentless and her punishment is beyond cruel. Will he do a deed good enough for her to give him his redemption? Will Brandy accept his human side when she finds that he is no ordinary wolf?
I enjoyed the story for the most part , but found the attitude of the goddess to be disturbing and cruel. Brandy and Reardon develop a trusting relationship until it turns into a romance. It's a fairly good storyline, but the goddess spoils a large part of it with her over the top behaviour.
Interesting concept. Wolf Kiss has a very interesting way of viewing the whole werewolf thing. The story itself is good, but the backstory is where it is at. I am dying to see what happens next.
I really liked the set up in this book. An ancient werewolf being punished for wrong doings? Sent to live life in another time to atone for his mistakes? That just sounds riveting. This author did an amazing job of creating a story that draws readers in.
Brandy is such a sweet and caring character. The fact that she runs a sanctuary for wolves is such an amazing thing. Add in all the other things she does and I am pretty sure she qualifies for saint hood. Reardon has made many mistakes in his past. He is been selfish and unkind. Will he be able to change his ways?
The heat in this book is there. I will admit at times things got weird, but overall it was good. These two characters have an interesting dynamic.
The writing style of this book is good. The pace of the story was a bit fast for me, but it was interesting. The story is told from a dual point of view for the most part. I will admit that I wished there were labels for whose point of view I was in.
In conclusion, this was a good book. The author has me hooked. I am dying to know what happens in book two. I would recommend to others.
I don't usually care for books where a witch or goddess of some sort of entity places a curse on someone, but I really enjoyed this one. My only complaint is that there was not enough interaction between Brandy and Reardon with Reardon in human form. They didn't get to know each other at all. At least Reardon knew her personality by spending time with her in wolf form, so I can understand him falling in love with her. But, Brandy didn't have any reason to be in love with him. They met, he saved her and her son, she invited him over for dinner, they had sex. Suddenly, she's in love with him? No, that's lust. He told her when she found out he was the wolf that she took care of that she knew him as a wolf, so she should know him as a person. Um, no. She couldn't hear his thoughts when he was a wolf. He protected her and played with her son. That's not enough to know someone and be in love with them. I wanted more scenes with him being human and them getting to know each other. However, I very often have the same problem with most romance novels these days. The authors skip over the "getting to know each other as people" part and suddenly they're sleeping together and "in love". I need more substance. 4/5 stars. Well written, good world building.
This is a time-travel shifter romance mashup. There is some cheeky fun in a biologist pining after her own lycanthrope and some endearing moments with an adopted son. It’s very instalove romance, but that is typical of the genre (fated mates). There is surprisingly little fish out of water antics and general angst. Alternatively, there’s intrigue in the idea of an angry goddess forcing redemption on a band of those who abuse her power. Sadly, those ideas don’t synergize. The lighthearted ridiculousness of an Irish warrior getting life lessons from Twilight is pushed aside for child abductions and death threats. In the end, neither idea gets to flourish. Reardon’s quest is to do something worthy of redemption but the meddling goddess makes that impossible counter to her goals. His change from callous opportunist murder hobo to compassionate family man is too quick to be believable. And given the moral slant it is odd that no one faces consequences for anything in this book. Trespassing, vehicular murder, assault, possession, affairs, and daily use of emergency services go ignored in this small town. Overall the character choices seem foolish, wolves are treated by dogs, and Filidae seems like a crazy hypocrite. (1.5 stars)

I enjoyed the story, but a few things hurt it for me. I feel that his time travel into the future was too smooth a transition. I expected more shock & awe from our modern technologies -to really throw him off more, instead he took it all in stride as no big deal. From the cars, gun/gunshots, to cell phones, computers, television/movies, cameras, etc. also some of the wording was off for him to just comprehend what’s being said- like pictures/photos, his time would have only understood painting/portrait sorts of things. I also didn’t like the goddess going all psycho at the end. She seemed more spiteful than a guardian of all things wild would have been in my mind. The goddess’ reasoning for his redemption didn’t congeal the story (it really fractured the story more than anything), it actually pissed me off & if it had happened any earlier in the story, I would have quit reading. For the most part the story flowed well & I liked the main characters & a lot of the secondary characters, I also liked the uniqueness of the plot. I would consider reading more from this series to see where it goes & with the hope it would seem more cohesive as a time travel thing.
WOW, WHAT A BOOK !!! The cover art is amazing but when I started reading it grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go. How terrifying to be suddenly thrust from your life in the past as a big bad Irish Warrior Werewolf to the modern world 🌎 of the future. The first sighting of a car or an airplane must have been a shocking experience. Not to even imagine what he must have felt when he saw a skyscraper and the rush of a modern city with the tension and the rush of the people that live there now. I can't imagine the first glance at the the change of wardrobe from his time to ours. I can hardly wait to read the next four books in this series. I went ahead and bought them, That way I don't have to wait around to go from this book to the next one. That's why I love 💘 when there are box 📦 sets in series. I can continue to read with no waiting or worrying about finding the next book in the series. I usually save a lot of money too... I can hardly wait to find out if the other disgruntled Warrior Werewolf 's are going to drop in on Reardon's new life and what kind of chaos they will bring with them. They weren't too happy with the changes that he made to them in the past how will they feel about them now in the bright 🌞and shiny future ??? It should be extremely exciting to find out, The suspense is killing me. I can't wait to find out their reaction to all of the modern day people, City 's and the way of life. YUMMY IT'S SUCH A RUSH...
A pissed off Celtic Goddess leads to Beauty and the Beast?
So, Reardon… You took a walk on the wild side. Not unusual for you. But then you decided to to take your brothers along with you? Ooh, not a good idea. You broke the rules. Flidae is the Celtic goddess of wild things… and she saw what you did…
There are a couple of things an Irishman should never mess with-- The Fae, and Celtic Goddesses are two of them.
Uh-oh. What happened? You woke up and somehow I don’t think you’re in the same forest. Or on the same continent! Or… in the same century!! But Beauty walks this forest path. And when she finds you, you might find sanctuary and peace… And love… If you can just get her to kiss you…
I was looking for a change of pace from Billionaires and Bad Boys. Well, one out of two will do nicely in this case, since Reardon is a Very Bad Boy--Wolf--- Boy… And Brandy is his perfect Match-- Mate… If you love books about wolf shifters, this book will enchant you. It surely did me. 5 stars.
I loved this story. It is a refreshing perspective and storyline in the werewolf genre and I really enjoyed reading this book. The plot is different to other werewolf books I've read and I found the plot to be exciting and fresh and there was never a dull moment. I also really liked that there was a goddess involved and it was not the Moon Goddess. The characters are simple but not too much and they just really fit together really well. I really liked the close relationship between all the main characters and that there was such close relationships between real wolves and humans as well. I also really, really enjoyed that there was a wolf sanctuary in the centre of everything as I find the idea of a wolf sanctuary to be fascinating and it kind of just fits into this book really well. All in all, this book is fantastic, I loved reading it and it was a really quick read. I've already purchased the next part in the series as I just can't wait what happens next.
