Kindle Unlimited, debated on 1 or 2 stars since 1 means hate it, which just didn't like it; when someone is murdered and all you can think of is 'chick' stuff, you're too much of an airhead to be messing with butting in to murder cases, the story was basically nothing new mystery wise, same old same old i.e. tiring and boring with the chick stuff thrown in. Saw the who did its coming from way in the beginning, just all eh.

Good read
I'm not sue what that reader, Bonnie Keck, had on her mind when she wrote that negative review, but she seems to, maybe, have a screw or two, loose! I found the book of short stories to be very, very good. As I finished each one, I quickly started the next, as I was wanting to see Kate find the killers. I started feeling sure of who the killer was, and was pleasantly surprised to be correct. This set left me feeling good about Kate's future. Thank you, C.T. for introducing to your writing.

Quick, easy reading. When you only have an hour to spare.
I love the characters and how the author continues to develop them through a series of short stories. Each story grabs your attention right away and the fast pace will keep you engaged for the whole time. This is a perfect book for those who only find an hour here and there to read.

Murder Abounds
I liked Kate and her detective skills. She is feisty and obstinate with a soft spot for Lachlan, her business partner. Their catering business is thrown into panic when dead bodies keep turning up at their functions. The characters are very well crafted and believable. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Enjoyable afternoon read
A fun fast mystery in each short story. Just the thing for a lazy rainy day. The main character is likeable and just quirky enough to hold your interest. If you want a quick who done it this is your book.

Good short stories!
I choose the 4 rating because I wish they were longer books! I truly enjoyed the story line and the leading characters in the book! Keep up the good work on your stories and maybe think of another Kate mystery that is over 150 pages!!!!!

Fun easy to read set of stories great twist at the end
Enjoy this the character want to read !it's about them. Fun series the last one revealed the mastermind and why. Would not guess who or why. Very interesting plot twist.

I enjoy these stories about Kate and the things she gets into. Yes, she is a girlie girl, but she gets the job done and looks good doing it. I find these stories humorous and lighthearted.
