I really enjoyed this book the most so far! Sophie is now broken up with Dylan and her best friend has deserted her. So she’s spending more and more time training as she learns the endless list of new abilities she has. When her bloodlust becomes insatiable drastic action must be taken. Maxim can no longer quench her thirst! With Bernard and Caleb more worried than ever they do more research and discover her mother wasn’t what she seemed and this unlocks the key to helping Sophie. I really enjoyed the new parts to the book that I can’t reveal as it would be considered spoilers but this book is definitely worth reading. I’m anxious to read the final book in this page turning trilogy!

A lot of things happened in book 2 and things are definitely getting much more interesting now. I really liked this one and can't wait to see what happens next!
Sophie was shopping for her prom dress, but the pink ones Bernard was showing her just didn’t fit with her mood. As a half-human, half-vampire, she figured it was okay to fall into the stereotype and wear black; as long as she accessorized with sparklies, it would work. But with all the weight she had lost, she wasn’t sure she looked good in it. She stepped out of the dressing room and Bernard held up a silk dress of pale lavender embroidered with pale gold thread. It was perfect! But when she heard some girls laughing as they passed nearby, she had to finish her purchase and hurry out. Her teeth had extended and her terrible blood thirst was increasing in both frequency and violence.
This book has everything I like in this type of story. The story line was good, fast-paced, the characters were wonderful. The humor and close friendships really pulled it together! And the suspense at seeing how Sophie was faced with saving her kingdom kept the reader fully invested in the story. There is more to Sophie than we know, and her powers are constantly increasing. This is a time of discovery for her, and surprises for the reader. This series is well worth getting involved in! I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I did!
Royally Cursed, book two in the Vampire Princess series, begins from the ending of book one. As Sasha’s powers begin to emerge more and more, and her bloodlust barely in control, she finds herself turning to Maxim since his blood seems to be the only thing that can fulfill her needs – until she gets a taste of her half human, half fae, ex boyfriend Dylan. Now that she finds herself being pulled towards not only one, but two hot boys, will she be able to keep her new feelings in check or will she be pulled in both directions. With all her new powers, will Sasha be able to stay hidden in the small town? Can’t wait for the next installment to see what happens next. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This is book 2 to the Vampire Princess it’s a fantastic series and I enjoyed it immensely, this is a continuation from book 1. Dylan is Fae and Sasha broke up with him for his protection but she still loves him and when her hunger strikes Maxim offers himself up but she only wants Dylan. Sasha needs to be locked up when it hits or she will get violent and things will get real bloody andcshe doesn’t want that. After all Sasha has enough to worry about what with saving her father and now trying to pick a prom dress. This is a fantastic story and I can’t wait to read book 3 which I will do after this, fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Big improvement on the first in this series . You can't help feeling sorry for Sophie , her best friend & her boyfriend are now off limits , Fae & Vampires just don't mix . her cravin constant . She might be a princess but life a the moment sucks , you actually feel sorry for Sophie when she goes to pick a prom dress Her craving for blood is constant , her usual blood just doesn't satisfy her any more but then neither does Vampire blood . Boys , prom , training ,blood & her powers take over Sophie's life until she is forced to make a decision that could cost her dearly, faster paced book than the first that you will find very hard to put down until its finished .
This book picks up right where the first one ends. Sasha aka Sophie now has to deal with her broken heart from leaving Dylan along with her unexpected bond to Max. Not only that but her bloodlust is outta control. When Dylan shows up and offers her his blood things even out. So now she is bonded to both of them. Great she thinks what else could go wrong...The smart remarked, the teenage antics are back with this book but also the seriousness of the situation that she has to deal with is coming to head. Great book.

I couldn't wait to read this second book in the Vampire Princess Series. It continues from the previous book, which I recommend reading before this. Princess Sophie discovers some more of her powers as well as a second love. One she knows she shouldn't act on. She discovers many secrets about herself and those closest to her. There are some great elements to this story. Some crazy things happen in this book. I don't want to give anything away. But I'm definitely looking forward to the next in the series. 4/5 stars A T&A Book Blog
Part 2... I haven't been this interested in a paranormal book series since twilight. I am enjoying this.
I think she should date both boys- we are in the 21st century and she's going to be queen, why not enjoy the benefit of opening loving the two guys? Both keep her levelheaded so both should be by her side.
Caleb and Bernard- umm yes... I would love to have been a fly on the wall with those two.
A male vampire, and a male who is part Fae - and a hybrid vampire princess. Sasha experiences and insatiable craving for blood - and only that from her ex boyfriend will help. When Dylan finds out the truth - about her, and about himself, how will he react? And will Sasha chose him, or Maxim, the handsome vampire who also loves her? She needs to finish school, get a license, work out what to do about the prom - and learn how to control her new powers - lots of twists and turns in this story!

Whoa! Book two in the Kingdom of Night series is how a sequel should be written. Things get super interesting and leaving you with a shock factor that makes you crave more. Sophie is cursed and in love with two boys. What is a 17 year old to do when she is unsure of what her heart wants. If that wasn’t hard enough add being a princess, wanted, and magic that you don’t understand. This is the first vampire novel that has grabbed my whole attention in a long time. It’s so good I struggled with the one more chapter rule!
This is a great series that sucks you in.. Is it bad that I want princess Sasha to have 2 lovers... I can't wait to see how her powers developed and when she finally kicks ass, I hope in the next book she forgives max because I feel she needs him as much as she does Dylan. I think Dylan is her light and max is her dark and together they balance each other out... When is the next book, I need to know what happens!
This is a great story for any age. It's clean, yet exciting. Sophie finally learns she is more than just a vampire human hybrid. Her powers are just beginning to emerge. And, she is caught in a love triangle. Lastly, she has known that a war is brewing to put the rightful King back on the throne, but someone new just entered the competition. No spoiler alert here. He's hot, sexy, and he wants her by his side. Read it!
I really enjoy this series. I love the characters, their relationships (though I wouldn't mind Dylan being killed so she can end up with Maxim) Like all books, this had its cons. It was slightly inconsistent from the first and had a few grammatical errors but eh. Whatever. I wish it could have been a bit longer and the ending was a bit disappointing but I still enjoy this series a loooot and can't wait to read the next one.
Dylan and Sophie mend their differences after Dylan gives her his blood to save her sanity and sate her blood thirst. She is still in training for the upcoming war. And now Maxim's huge secret is revealed. Oh boy things aren't looking so good on the home front. No worries. I am so wrapped up in this story. Can't wait for the next installment. Nice!

I liked that we started from where we left in the previous book. I like Sophie/Sasha tried to fight the changes in her to stay in the same place and school, to belong even in a little way somewhere else than just with her guardians. It was an interesting solution that in a way her salvation from change were the two boys/men she loved. I liked the story and the characters and that they continued to develop into depth.
This sequel to book one, Vampire Princess was enjoyable. I like all the characters that have been developed and like the different personalities they now have. Without spoiling anything; We pick up where we left off. Our MC is thrown deeper into her life with special powers (love this aspect of the story), with just a little sweet romance to intertwine in the story. Very well done. Can’t wait to see what happens in book 3! The ending had me wanting to continue on, that’s for sure!
Without giving away any spoilers, I can only say that it does not make any sense to banish someone who is loved, required, and a potential threat simply because not all the truth came out at once. Aside from that humdinger of a cliffhanger, this book was just as great as the first, if not better, and now I'm already suffering from having to wait for the 3rd installment.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Wow Cameron drake has done it again.This book was amazingly written.I'm the first Vampire human hybrid. Someday I will reclaim my father's throne. Until then, I'm stuck in freaking high school. If you want to know what happens go buy the book you won't be disappointed. Will get all my friends to buy the book.{I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy}
Book one was great, and book two is better! I really hope book three is coming soon! The love triangle, has me on pins and needles. Who will she choose? And all the new powers, they seem endless. I think this war will happen soon, and I think she will kick butt.
I am definitely hooked on this series, and can hardly wait for book three!
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. It just keeps getting better, I love her two pets spidey and centi. I was disappointed that Maxim didn't tell her who he was before things got to far. I can't wait to see what will happen next with them.
Wow again. Utterly fabulous story. Sophie, the vampire princess. Dylan, her human on/off again boyfriend. Maxim, the vampire. Both men are in love with Sophie and she really, really cares for them both. But what terrible secret is being kept as Sophie and the others prepare for war? If I could give more than five stars I would.
Just like the first book this was really good. Again well written and addicting. Love this series!!! This is one of those books it’s hard to put down and as soon as I finished the first I went straight to the 2nd and right to the 3rd book. Read this series it’s great!!!!

Book 2 of this series and it’s full of plenty of twists, turns, and surprises. Even after reading book 1 and 2 I can’t figure who I want her to end up with. I will once again be waiting for the next book to find out how things turn out!

Royally Cursed by Cameron Drake is book #2 in the Vampire Princess series. This is an enjoyable read. It has drama, romance and humor. Lots of emotion, sass and snark. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.
I loved the book but hate the way it ended; not because it was a bad ending but because I now have to wait who knows how long to see what comes next. All in all its an amazing book that hooks you in!
