Frank Richards has been an accountant for most of his life, but when the economy took a turn for the worse he was forced to take the only job he could find - driving tractor-trailers cross-country. Thanks to his parents being dyed-in-the-wool prepper and survival experts he's learned enough to keep him alive. If he wants to make it from Maine to Texas, though, he'll have to figure out how to get along with the mysterious stranger that he's picked up along the way. With skills as strange as her background, Linda's far more prepared than Frank to survive in a fallen world. But in a world with no safety, no security and no sanctuary it takes more than one person to survive.
No Sanctuary is a post-apocalyptic thriller/survival series that asks the "what if" question that lurks in the back of everyone's mind. What if there was another attack? What if it was larger than any other? What would you do if it came without warning?
No Sanctuary is planned to be a series that will contain 7 novel-length books, published once every 4-6 weeks.
Fracture is the third book in the No Sanctuary series. This can be read as a standalone but should not be. It will make more sense if you have read the first book plus it has a cliffhanger ending. There is a lot of violence, it is an apocalyptic thriller, so it might not be suitable for more sensitive readers.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat all of that info here. This is an apocalyptic thriller filled with people trying to survive in a country gone crazy. This story includes a lot of twists and turns. As usual, everything is not as it seems. I look forward to reading more of this series.
I received a copy of this book from the author and chose to leave a review for other readers.
I have the box set of this series and book three continues the saga of battling through debilitating acts of terrorism, seemingly the hate of the middle-east of the west.
The main focus is on Frank and Linda's battles with occasional peeks at background - the whys.
This has become more of a spy thriller than a typical post-apocalyptic story but has been generally enjoyable. I'm not sure that I believe that Frank would have gone back after a woman he only met a few days before and is on an obsessive crusade, but he does add to the story.
I am really enjoying this series. You just get so invested in the characters. It is pretty scary thought that this could happen in real life. This one gives us an insight into Linda’s past.. I really liking Linda.. and Frank is now growing on me too, another well-written book.
While reading this book i seem to be feelng ive read it before in one of his other books. Will keep reading however as im interesting to see what happens to frank and l inda. Not to forget nate.and sara
