This book was written with so many repetitive sentences and paragraphs over and over throughout the book that I finally started skimming. Unfortunately by doing that I basically missed nothing. I’ve read some of this authors books before and don’t remember this being an issue. Took me almost two weeks to read this because it just didn’t keep my interest. Doubtful I’ll read anything else by this author.
This edition could use a good edit. Lots of grammar mistakes and I think one of the whole sections (#2) is doubled. But I had to read because I share a name with the author. I have to represent for the spicy booktok Lunds out there. Looking past the need for an editor, the story line is good. I can see where the author was going and it could play out like an episode of SVU.
I really enjoyed reading this book! I Loved Celia and Hunters love started at such a young age and just continued to grow! I admired how no matter the adversity that came their way, they always found their way back to each other. This is a book that I will definitely recommend to others!
Loved it and rated a 5 but the back and forth between today and the past was too much. Maybe once or even twice but I eventually lost count after so many. Otherwise good story that I would label fiction based on fact. I pretty much read all of SE Lunds stuff and this is a good one.
The story and characters were interesting enough and I think I could have really enjoyed this set. Unfortunately the numerous grammatical errors, missing words, and minor storyline inconsistencies were distracting.
Love this series, I am so glad she gave me all four in one package, but no matter I would have went and bought all four because that is how good a read and plot line this book series was.
Well that was…..long and drawn out. Lots of errors and repetitive, even a repeat chapter 😳 thank god to only paid 99c. Definitely not a fan of this author
