Another story arc comes to end but, at least, it’s one of the few which has a positive feeling about it. There is a reunion, some old friends make a comeback but also a lot of questions remained unanswered. I’m eagerly waiting for the next.

Sweet ending, beautifully wrapped with a pretty ribbon on top
Boy, the next arc is going to fucking destroy us, isn't it?
Anyways, this flew by, i loved every single second of it, and I've decided I prefer to read them this way, waiting for a whil for the whole thing to come out to devour it in a single afternoon.
This comic is in my life to stay, and I'm excited to see what comes next

update two seconds later:
waiiitt february? THATS SO CLOSE. FORGET EVERYTHING I SAID ABOUT WAITING

This issue is the last in this volume and it was so short. Not really satisfying for an ending either. Issue 47 also wasn't too stellar. It's just a repeat circumstance of people wanting to seek out Alana and Marko. I'm getting the feeling that they don't exactly know where to take the story. I'm not sure when the next will be released but hopefully it has direction.

Aw this was so happy and cutesy, that’s so rare in this series lately. Also, hazel is growing up so fast and I legitimately feel like a proud godmother, my precious baby, I’m so proud of the beautiful girl.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TOUCH GHÜS. Ok, thank you.
Also, I like Squire. And I adore Hazel (what's not to love, really).

Now, I do not remember much of this arc (I was rereading this last issue to see if my brain would be able to pull that folder from 7 years ago but I guess not) so I might just reread the whole thing too instead of going back only one book. It's not like I have to be rushing through them anyway lol

I thought the worst just coming..I scared to read the death of Ghüs. I have to say that the ugly monster wich he fights against was... It's that a monster? Really? Ugly, ugly..the brother of Mars Attack aliens. hahaha

I'm terribly happy because of the amazing reunion at the end that really seems to be good to be true so obviously now I'm expecting them to face something awful in the next arc but at least they'll be together!

The cutest thing was seeing Ghüs and Marko hugging in the background on the reunion and seeing Hazel and Alana because Hazel is so big now and she looks amazing and I'm so happy to see Alana doing well, also I love the detail they added on her stomach.

It's extremely difficult to rate the individual chapters, therefore the following is a review of the eighth volume. In other words, chapters forty-three through forty-eight.

Volume eight of Saga was another addictive read that had me hooked on every page. Once again, the story managed to demonstrate why this is the only graphic novel series I have remained committed to.

As with the other volumes, volume eight manages to include so many topics into a story that is humorous, heart-warming, and heart-breaking all in one. As you need to have read the prior volumes to understand this one, you’ll know there are some heavy storyline details in this one. However, they do not come across that way (serious, yes, but not heavy) due to the way in which the story unravels. It manages to pull you in deeper and leaves you eager for more.

Once again, Saga managed to pull me deeper into the world. I cannot get enough.

1. This issue was adorable and sweet!
2. So glad they didn’t have to eat Friendo.
3. “One day a boy decided to break the rules. Like in most children’s stories, he then had an adventure. This experience taught the boy that those aforementioned rules were there for a reason. But he also learned another important lesson...that one should break rules as often as possible. Because who the hell doesn’t want to have an adventure?”
4. The insides of the giant bird were sooooo awesome!
5. They are back together!!! YAYAYAYA. And Hazel has a brother now!!!

I actually can't remember the last issue of Saga I read that left me feeling quite so peaceful, especially the faithful prelude to a break, as these issues usually involve some catastrophic revelation. But no, here we get a Ghus-centric issue (and he remains adorable and endearing as ever), with a hopeful conclusion. I doubt the next arc will be peaceful, but for now I'm content to bask in the calm.

Solid issue. A bit tongue-in-a-cheek issue as well. Each issue with Ghüs has always been refreshing, this time it wasn't Saga-like story at all. There were some funny moments, pretty happy end of the story arc, reunion...happy holidays style. I liked the refreshment, but still a step below those first dozen or even two dozen issues which were pure fire.

Finally Ghüs is back, I missed him so much. Also I could not hate more a war that puts Ghüs against Friendo, what is this. The issue is short and quite uneventful but I still enjoyed how it tied up the ARC, I already felt like there would not be any further developments so I wasn't disappointed. It was a darn beautiful ending.
