Royal Blood #2

The Queen Maker

Rate this book
Thana Leoram knew she would do anything to be with the vampire she loved, despite the laws forbidding it.
She just had no idea what doing anything would actually mean.

Mere weeks after being crowned, King Keiran Sipesh receives word of a brutal invasion by the Sadori Empire into Tordania. Already struggling to deal with unrest in his personal life and still learning to cope with being a vampire, the young king is forced to make his first serious decisions as the leader of his country.

The quiet servant, Thana Leoram, is pulled into the conflict. Though her relationship with Keiran is forbidden by law, she is determined to hold on. However, there are multiple forces seeking to tear them apart, and the young woman’s life is put in jeopardy.

While leading the invasion, General Ahman Danier comes to realize there is a treasure far greater than Tordania’s coal mines for him to steal away from King Keiran Sipesh.

Drawn into a devious scheme chocked-full deadly drama, perilous intrigue, brutal tactics, callous betrayal, diabolical deeds, mounting danger, swirling suspense and unnerving situations, you have one mind-blowing experience, blasting this baby to life brilliantly. Chicanery and mayhem descend in a flurry of deception and secrets, breaking boundaries and blurring lines, limitations are amplified and enforced, reaching deep for every ounce of strength in a fierce surge of determination, lunging forward with such intensity and vigor, catapulting this jewel into a tailspin with an astonishing culmination, melding this jewel together seamlessly. The characters are authentic, realistic and genuine with depth and qualities that blend into amazing personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow, creating an elaborate backdrop that feels as though you can reach out and touch it. Enjoyable

The story may have dragged a few spots but other than that a great second book. All kinds of questions are left wide open for the next book. I already ordered the next in the series. Great job.
