The Colossal Lie

Rate this book
Using a pseudo-scientific language, de Charmoy reflects on the inventory of lies which oppresses mankind.

The Colossal Lie, her book in which she examines the lies which surround and direct us.There, for example is an evocation of Richard Nixon's phlebitis, there -- an imagined connection between Klaus Barbie, the Gestapo chief of Lyons, and the ancient barbie dolls reputed to leak poisonous plastic. "How does it feel to ooze, Klaus?" she enquires.

Preface by Henri Chopin.
