I've read this book as a start into reading books in English and, aside of being easy to understand and to follow (it doesn't have very complex language), I would only recommend it if you are in this same situation. Is kinda predictable and sometimes boring so... nothing special.

This book was a nightmare. I assume it was supposed to be a 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' type book, but it failed miserably. Tobey, the main character was extremely annoying and unlikable and the entire plot was implausible. Had I not been forced to read this book for school, I would have stopped after the first chapter. Please do not waste your time on this book. You'll regret it.
