A very good read, Kerry Connor starts with an improbable first scene and takes it further to become a great little story. I’m always impressed when an author can take an improbable setting or an unlikable character and make it into a believable, well written storyline. Here’s another author that has been added to my personal BOLO file, I’m really looking forward to Kerry Connors’ next title!

I had read a sample chapter of this book and wanted to know what happened. Full of suspense & intrigue, and the twist at the end was a bit expected as I got close to finishing. Very good.

While the twist was not unexpected (I read a LOT, so am rarely surprised by a villain reveal), I appreciated that the author didn't throw characterization by the wayside to get her twist. Another twenty pages so the action wasn't as crammed and I probably would have given it four stars. The author did a great job with a ridiculous premise. I'll be keeping my eyes open for more by her.

It has a nice twist at the end and starts off in the middle of the action, but the middle drags a bit. Okay, but not groudbreaking by any means.
