A former Special Forces wolf shifter. Drew’s got an assignment—true. But he’s also got it bad for a certain hottie that hates him. A dire wolf shifter hottie. Ever since those dire wolf shifters came to their rescue—and who said they needed rescue anyway—Nia’s been unable to deny her attraction to Drew. But she keeps acting like she’s hating on him. These shifters have enough problems with being hunted and staying hidden from the black-hat contractors that want them dead. And now love has complicated everything.
As the story continues Drew and lady fall in love. All of the girls are friendly. The ones who had a hand in making them tracked them to their new camp. They raised a hunting party to find them. A Good Read.
Not my favourite story in this series. Drew has a massive crush on Nia who doesn't like him. Follows the team on another assignment and I assume the ending of the book must lead right into the next novel in the series
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ With Drew, the heat level ratchets up thanks to the delicious tension between Drew and Nia, a fierce dire wolf shifter who is not interested in falling for him…except she totally is. Their love-hate dynamic adds spark to the already high-stakes world of rogue shifters and dangerous contractors. The tension and emotional push-pull are well done, and watching Nia struggle with her feelings while Drew tries not to mess everything up is deeply satisfying. It’s a great pairing and possibly the most chemistry-driven couple so far.
