Castle Ink is my business, women my game. Being a tattoo artist is in my blood, it's what I was born to do, and I love it. But I grow tired of the game. I've always been a gentleman, but now I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve and looking for the one. Finding that one girl was always going to be a challenge, but I knew from the moment I met her, everything she could throw at me would be worth it. Between work, family and her, my life is at a crossroads. She's the one I can see my forever with, the one that both my mind and heart have agreed on. Now I need to make her mine.
#HER I'm a career woman with a love for movies. My job is my life, it’s everything I need it to be and so are the people I've been lucky enough to surround myself with. But I have a painful past, a past I have tried to escape by learning from my mistakes. However, somehow, it always sticks with me. Over the years I've learned to protect myself, but now one person is threatening those walls I’ve built. The emotions I’m starting to feel, scare me. Is it worth it? Is he worth it?
Rachel is a crazy bitch and left our hero's mind fucked up. She teased him of his feelings, used him only for sex, and rubbed another guy she took home to an ONS in the face of our hero. She humiliated him and when she saw him with another woman she had a fit of jealousy and tried to have sex with him again. He refused to be used again and she was furious with him. He really had feelings for her and wanted more. The bitch leaves and still lies about the reasons for her departure, putting the blame on him. What a bitch! He ends up meeting Cassie, our heroine, and is charmed by her, but all his insecurities appear at various times almost fucking everything up. Rachel, the bitch, is always in his thoughts. He looks pathetic in several scenes. Cassie has also left an abusive relationship and is afraid. But she's charming and that's all he imagined in a partner. She is intelligent, humorous, loves tattoos, loves animals, superheroes and movies. She's perfect for him. There are scenes where we feel like slapping the hero's face so he will not be a fool anymore. He does a lot of shit and is an asshole. The bitch comes back causing more trouble and leaving destruction in her path. Her ex also appears out of nowhere causing problems. We have a satisfactory HEA.
The story was super cute loved how they didn't rush straight into anything the took their time and builded a true relationship not just sex and lust. They are perfect for each other with their furbabies.
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first DEX: Castle Ink #1 by Amy Davies
This is Cassie and Jay’s story. Jay is tired of playing the field and wants to find that one to settle down with. He knows that one is Cassie but getting her to be his is not going to be easy. Cassie has a painful past and is trying to learn from her past mistakes. But getting involved with Jay could be a mistake. Can she risk it? She built walls to protect her elf and her heart but with Jay tearing them down will she be able to trust him not to hurt her or is the past about to repeat itself? Do these two stand a chance?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
Abandoned at about 30%. I don't remember the first book to be so gratingly grating. I don't what to say badly written because I'm no expert on the written word but I do know what writing styles I struggle with and this was it.
Such a great story. I love that both the Castle boys have been protective about what’s theirs.
Rachel makes me violent. The way she acts in the beginning makes me wish that Addy had laid that bitch out on her ass. I was glad when Cassie came along and healed his scars the way that he did for her.

You ever read a train wreck just to see the crash? Well this book is perfect if you have. This mans still hung up on his ex, she wasn’t even an ex if you ask me - she was a f@$k buddy. I have no idea why this author had to have the ex-boyfriend show up after the hotel phone call that Jay never did explain.
Cassie gave in way too easy....way too easy and I dislike easy.
Footnotes....Penny is no friend, a friend is honest and trustworthy. We never find out what happen to the cow Rachel. Too many women make a pass or give invitation to Jay.
Sadly all 3 books were free so I’m gonna read the last one.... WINK
Book 2 in the series Jay and Cassie story didnt dissapoint. This is a hot series of bad boy tattooists that are brother that have had a difficult time when they were younger but have pulled through with each other’s help. Jays heart gets broken by Rachel he dosent want it broke again so when he meets Cassie he wants to take it slow. Cassie also has had her heart broke in the past and is scared. I loved this series so much and cant wait to read book three in the series to find out more about these characters. Highly recommend series that you will fall in love with.
Loved this book! This book continues on from Dex but follows the characters Jay & Cassie. Jay has just gotten out of a relationship with two-faced Rachel and is looking for Ms. Right. Shouldn't be hard when you're sex-on-legs and covered in tattoos, right? Enter Cassie. She's the local dog-groomer and our Jay gets head over heels. Can they make it work? Or will their past mistakes come and mess it all up? Highly recommend this series.
Jay has just got out of a one sided relationship with Rachel and just wants to find his Ms. Right and his happy ever after. Cassie is a dog-groomer and dog parlour owner who thinks she is too broken to be loved...….. When they meet they try to take it slow so there are no mistakes but fate has other ideas. Such a great story and thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
I was hoping better for this book but I just didn't click with Jay like I did with him in first book,he keeps telling caddie he won't hurt her but then treats her like rubbish :\
I was really looking forward to Jay's story as I had read Dex's book (#1) and loved it. I liked the way Jay's story statred out, completely different to how I expected or the norm. Thank god Rachel was out of the picture PDQ as I seriously wanted to bitch slap the stupid cow!! Cassie I loved right from her first chapter. Jay is just......*insert dreamy eyes*, the Castle men are pure alphas with kind hearts, big d...s, crude mouths and covered in ink! Jay has had enough of having girls fall at his feet, he wants to find his forever girl. Finding her is one thing but getting her to see she is his 'one' and keeping her is another matter all together. A painful past makes it hard for Cassie to believe in the feelings she is starting to have, to believe that she could possibly have a HEA. Therei s one part that as dreamy, sexy and hot as he is Jay definitely needed a bloody good slap!! but thank goodness he manages to redeem himself. I look forward to seeing what Amy brings us readers next. If you have yet to check out any of Amy's books then you totally should asap

Jay is a well written book and an awesome read that sucks you in from the start. The story is well put together and I couldn’t put it down. Amy Davies is a fabulous author and her books are amazing and would highly recommend this book to be read.
Oh boy! After meeting Jay in the previous book, I was all over this one! He is one of the good ones and really deserved to get his HEA. But initially, I am not going to lie, I was worried! To be blunt, Rachel is a complete twat!! But then, that happened and my heart breathed a little, maybe he would get his HEA after all. It's not all sunshine and flowers. Both Jay and his lady have been hurt in the past, can they work their way through and get what they both deserve? Loved this. So many heart stopping moments!!
This time we get the story of hot tattooed hunk Jay who is brother of Dex from book 1 in the series. This is a good easy to read story but i will admit like the others ive read by Amy its slightly let down in some places. Otherwise its good characters with great banter , lots of love and a heap of drama! I was worried abiut Jays story as i really felt that Rachel just wasnt the woman for him and im so glad to see the way this story went. Rachel showed her very true colours throughout the book and Cassie was like a shining star and the perfect match for Jay! *Read as part of Ku*
2.5 because I got through it eventually. h is excellent and I love her family and best friend. H future SIL fights for h more than the H does because as he says he thinks with his small man brain. Hoping his month of grovelling off page at the end is amazing because she deserves it.
First things first; I really like the cover of this book! Jay is book two in the castle ink series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Jay really wants to settle down and find love. After a bad experience, he is wary on who to trust. As soon as Jay meets Cassie, he wants her. Cassie is attracted to Jay but she too has been burnt by love in the past. The chemistry between Jay and Cassie is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they made a cute couple. I have to admit, Jay annoyed me at times. I understood why he was the way he was but it was a little annoying. I was really happy that Jay didn’t end up with Rachael. I disliked Rachael in Dex’s story and in this story. She was selfish and didn’t deserve Jay. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
I was looking forward to reading Jay after reading Dex and this book didn't disappoint. I loved the story between Jay and Cassie and the relationship between both theme nd their friends is great. I would recommend this book to anyone.
