I read the first book to the end. That was a bit of a chore but the story held it together. The heroine (can I call Miss Perfect that?) was just too too too perfect, always correct, her intuitions better than anyone else... so good in fact the FBI agent offered a job right away. She was so tough after her ordeal and she did go through quite a bit of stress, and scary life threatening events. However the second book in the series started with terrible consequences of her previous ordeals and again a nut case is fascinated by her, the tension builds up in the first few pages. Perhaps as a stand alone book it would be ok but I cannot go through her angst and soul searching for another three days. Quite a few misprints, and blatant no editing. Ie she is in her nighty from the hospital, very skimpy etc and the murderer starts unbuttoning her pants... I don’t think so. Too bad.
