All the Way starts off Kristen Proby's new series, Romancing Manhattan, and introduces us to London Watson and Finn Cavanaugh. After a tragic house fire took both of London's parents and broke her leg making her unable to dance, London packed up and left the city to go stay at her parents' beach house. There she see's her family's estate lawyer who just happens to be her new neighbor.

I thought Finn was a good hero. He intrigued me and I loved how he was with London. He just wanted to protect her and he hated to see that she was in so much pain over her parents death and the loss of her dancing career. He wanted nothing more than to help make London's life as easy as possible, even when she didn't want him to help her.

That was actually what I liked about London. She was strong in her own right and didn't want Finn trying to take over her life all in the name of 'helping' her. When he pushed, she pushed right back and it was really fun to see that. They had a great chemistry that was very evident on the pages.

Overall, this is a book I would recommend reading. It started off this series very well and has me super curious about the next books.

3 - So many highs and lows...

Kristen Proby begins her new Romancing Manhattan series by bringing us Finn Cavanagh and London Watson’s story in All the Way.

"I don’t like watching you struggle…"

"…It seems to be a part of life these days"

Having read over thirty books by this author now, I think I have in general got her measure in regards to the quality of her writing and style in delivery. And if I am being honest All the Way felt like it had been written out of obligation rather than the author having any real investment in it. The story, characters and general development for me felt extremely weak and lackluster.

"I want you…"

"…I’m right here."

"Once I start… I’m not going to stop."

London as a character is dealing with the death of her parents in a house fire, one that began in suspicious circumstances, a brother with serious addiction problems, and the potential end of her performing career due to injuries sustained escaping the aforementioned fire. Pretty heavy stuff for one woman to be contending with, yet she seemed to float through most days on a cloud of narcissistic self-reflection without ever really showing a huge amount of emotion or grief over what had happened or really dealing with the issues at hand.

"This isn’t just sex for me… I don’t know where it might lead but as far as I’m concerned, I’m in something important here…"

Finn; meanwhile, is an absolute control freak, and goes the wrong way about showing his affection for her pretty much every time he tries. I have to admit I found his initial expression of interest in London, straight after the reading of her parents will a little skeevy, but London did kick him into touch straight away. Problem being though when they meet up again at the beach shortly after, all is forgotten and they dive almost immediately into a weird relationship. By weird I mean that it was almost as it they were an estranged couple reuniting, rather than a new couple who were getting to know each other as more than friends.

Although as always, All the Way wasn’t a struggle to read, for me everything just felt extremely superficial, the reasons for the fire were barely mentioned until the latter stages of the book, her brothers addiction was brushed aside as something that London had dealt with for years and therefore didn’t really care to worry about anymore and I found myself disliking her for it, if there had been more basis given to her reasons in that area I think I could have found a little more empathy for her, but she essentially came across as a woman that had inherited the bulk of her extremely wealthy parents estate, and was happy to leave her brother, (who in her defence did come across as a total douchebag) to flounder and deal with his demons in whatever way he could with little or no support from her.

"I’m glad you’re here."

But my main disappointment was the actual relationship between London and Flynn, it just lacked all the emotional connection and zips of chemistry that I have come to expect from Kristen’s couples. There was very little about either of them that really stood out, and by the end of the book I felt like I hadn’t really learned anything new about them over and above what is imparted in the first couple of chapters, well nothing that I liked anyway.

I am being super critical here, because I know what this author can and usually achieves, and although I appreciate and respect the amount of work that goes into the writing and delivery of any type of book, I just don’t think Kristen Proby offered up anything like her best work on this occasion, more a case of provided the bare minimum of what was required without putting any of her usual flare, depth or attention to detail into it, and that I have come to expect with her books and series in general.

Still an acceptable start to a series and I do look forward to getting to know the rest of the Cavanagh family, hopefully in more depth through future books.

All the Way is a standard romance. Vanilla in my opinion. Min drama/ twist. Just like Miss Proby' signature work. I do not hate nor like it.

The plot is simple. With a twist of drunken brother and a stalker. Finn the hero is a clueless character who can not really listen to his woman. Typical men.

An OK romance.

Short, sweet, and a bit predictable. I liked London and Finn, but I wish their relationship would have been a little more fleshed out.

Things hadn't gone easy for London after injuring her leg in a accident. The accident had turned London's world underside down. It's changed her life not in a good way. Being in Broadway was her life and even that was being turned around. The only thing that was goin well in her life was the hot sexy attorney Finn dealing with her case and he just happens to be her neighbour at her beach house.

Finn is a partner in a law firm with his brother and brother in law. Things haven't alway been easy for him he has had to work his backside off to get where he is but it all paid off. He has never wanted to get close to a woman till he met London. At the tender age of nearly 40 he really needed to sort his life out. So meeting London came at a good time in his life. She made everything better in his life.

I think Finn and London made such a cute couple. Things went pretty smooth for them. Finn was there for London through her hard times and helped get her life back on track. I did find Finn and London a little annoying at times he needs to learn the word listen cause he couldn't do it at times and London was just a lil all over the place. I do understand why she was cause she has been through a lot. London is really independent so when Finn started changing things she wasn't happy. I did think that these two were really hot they could get enough of each other. They fit into each other's life so quickly they are just perfect together.

When I found out Kristen Proby is goin to do a new series I get so excited so getting this book early is amazing. I couldnt wait I had to start it. I really didn't want to put it down once I started it. But i did find that the story ended quick I wanted more at the end. I did think the story was really good though it's flowed really well and I was dying to know what was goin to happen between Finn and London. There are a few parts that I wanted more from so I hope I get to find out more as the series goes on. I would recommend this book I m a huge Kristen Proby fan and there isn't a book that's I haven't enjoyed. I m really looking forward to more of this series.

I had read a book from a previous series and had enjoyed it, so I was fairly eager to catch the start of a new series. Sadly, it was like a car accident I couldn’t look away from, and two stars is probably too high.

I wanted to like London and Finn, but it was sort of hard when the prologue had him asking her out on a date right after reading her parent’s will. Finn was insanely controlling about everything and even when London stood up for herself and clearly communicated what she wanted, he didn’t listen. I did like his brothers and London’s friend Sasha.

Plot wise it was a lot of weird sex scenes {without any chemistry between London and Finn}, a lot of food and body shaming, and a watered down conflict that came to a head and was resolved in about 5 pages.

Overall, it felt like a story that I had been dropped in the middle of and the ending was abrupt af. And even though I could probably go on about the things that irritated me, I’ve already given this book too much of my time.

4 ‘Completely Romanced’ Stars

What an amazing start for this romantic and über HOT brand new series! Sweet, ultra sexy, and with a hint of suspense, Kristen Proby has me yet again hooked from the start in this series, and already anticipating the next book.

Let’s just say Finn and London first meeting was at one of the worst possible situations. With a probable career ending injury and grieving the loss of her parents, the day of the reading of their will, the timing couldn’t be worse for Finn’s first approach on a possible date. One thing I’ve got to say on this is that I love that he was so completely drawn to her that he lost his normal strict composure and notion of time inappropriateness, lol. Like he says himself, that was totally out of character for him, and I liked that point.

Around two months after they meet again by chance, and now on her way to recovery and healing, London can realize the sizzling chemistry between them and appreciate the smoking hot specimen that is Finn, as well as allow herself to start moving forward with her life. Finn takes this chance with both hands and it’s full steam ahead in his courtship and seduction…

“Do you make that noise often when you eat?”
“What noise?”
“The moan.” She frowns. “I don’t know, why?”
“Because if you do, I’ll have to make sure I don’t eat with you anymore. It makes me want to fuck you, London.”

London is such an intricate character, specially with her background as musical’s headliner, and recent pain from the horrible incident that caused her to not only almost losing her life, but having her parents ripped from her, she reveals such a strong, sassy, independent – even too stubborn at times, lol – persona, that never gives in easily to Finn’s ‘control freak’ nature, and it’s fantastic to see the organic way in which they adapt – or argue – to being a couple.

“To be understood is profound. You understand me. It’s a big deal.”

The natural feeling but speedy relationship development, coupled with those smoking HOT sexy times – that made me believe this is, not counting that scorching hot menage, lol, KP’s steamiest book to date. Sure they have some bumps in the road, but I adored how he never gave up on her, and ALWAYS went to her, even if she didn’t initially felt it exactly what she needed. And Oh boy, did this man pack a punch, his dominating personality was raised to some serious epic sexy moments. Yep, not only did the man rock in the romantic department, he was unforgettable between the sheets – or in the town car, lol.

If I’m not mistaken, Finn Cavanaugh just claimed me. And it was the hottest moment of my life.

Finn and London’s story was the perfect appetizer for this new series that I have no doubt will leave us just as captivated as all the other fantastic ones that Ms. Proby has given us. That ending though, even though I know we will have a follow up on the couple in the next book, for an Epilogue lover like myself, the short time lapse ones always leave feeling somewhat not fully satisfied, and wanting to see what I have no doubt their HEA, but in their own book. So yes, now, like the KP addict that I am, I’m seriously counting down the day for the next book, not only to fall for the next brother, but also to see more Finn and London! All ready for more Romancing Manhattan! <3 <3 <3 <3

I’ve never believed in love at first sight, but since I met Finn, I’ve hardly been able to see much of anything else.

“I love you, more than I ever thought it was possible to love another person. It seems that you came crashing into my life in one big, magical storm, and I can’t remember what it was like before you.”

First of all, isn’t that beautiful cover so romantic? I love it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this steamy little gem! London has been through so much and with her whole life changed she goes to Martha’s Vineyard to figure out what her options are and what she wants to do. I thought she was a wonderful character.

Finn, a successful lawyer, has a home at Martha’s Vineyard, he visits as often as his high pressured career allows.

I liked Finn, he was a strong minded character, at times a bit overbearing but overall he was a likeable. His troubled niece is staying at his home and she and Finn manage to engage with London and thus their romantic journey begins.

The chemistry between London and Finn almost had my poor Kindle steaming up! I liked their growing relationship and the chemistry and I liked the depth of feeling that Kristen Proby managed to inject into All The Way.

Overall All The Way had a good solid backbone of a story-line that was well written and developed at a nice pace.

I thoroughly enjoyed this zinger. The first book in Kristen Proby’s new Romancing Manhattan series.

I was given an arc copy of All The Way by Harper Collins UK, Kristen Proby and Edelweiss. This in no way influenced my review.

★3 STARS<★

I thoroughly enjoyed Kristen Proby’s With Me in Seattle Series so I’m at a loss as to why it’s taken me so long to pick up another novel of hers. Luckily the first book in her brand new Romancing Manhattan gave me just the opportunity I needed to revisit her writing.

All the Way tells the story of successful Broadway actress, London Watson. She’s achieved many accolades in her career with a Tony award being among them. At present her future on stage is uncertain due to a terrible accident that lead to her parent’s death and an injury that leaves her stage career in jeopardy.  She needs the time to heal in both body and mind and chose to leave New York for the summer to recuperate at the family home in Martha’s Vineyard.

Finn Cavanaugh is a partner in the law firm her runs alongside his brothers. He first meets London at the will reading for her parent’s estate and rather unwisely choses the same moment to ask her out. As expected she declines and he kicks himself for being insensitive in his timing. However luckily for him the opportunity to see her again arises when he spends some time In Martha’s Vineyard with his niece who has had trouble adjusting since her mother’s death.

Although London finds Finn extremely attractive she has her reservations. He’s charming, successful and a doting uncle but she’s not sure she can afford to be distracted from her recovery and return to the stage. She soon stands corrected as Finn and his niece’s presence bring her comfort, reassurance and a sense of belonging that she’s struggled with of late. Although it may seem soon they embark on a relationship that feels right and with their return to New York the promise of a brighter future.

The reintroduction of normal life sees the couple juggling work and family to spend quality time together. The result makes for a more intense and passionate relationship and it’s this passion along with determination that sees them through when cracks begin to show.

There was a sense of idealism I couldn’t shake and in turn found it hard to relate to them and their “struggles”. That said if you are looking for a pleasant story with low angst, you’ll want to go All the Way with Kristen Proby and her Romancing Manhattan debut.

I was excited to begin this new series by Kristen Proby being introduced to new characters and being set in different locations was refreshing.

I enjoyed this it was a nice story.
I liked Finn, Carter and Quinn I have a feeling that Quinn will be my favourite from this series I loved his banter.

I was not so keen on London she LOVED herself too much in my opinion talk about being big headed she just annoyed me - examples
“Do you have any idea who I am?” I ask him. “London Watson. Beyond that, I have no idea.” “You must not go to the theater with your mother,” I mutter, and walk up to him so I’m barely a foot away. “I’m London Watson, the Tony Award–winning actress, you nitwit. I’ve been working in theater for years, and I’m about to star in a movie with Jeffrey Cameron.” “The movie star?” “And stage actor,” I add, and thrust my finger in his face. “I’m wealthy without your brother. I might even guess that I’m wealthier than your brother. And you know what? I give zero fucks about that. I have a sweet condo in Manhattan, right next to Central Park, as a matter of fact, and a house on Martha’s Vineyard worth millions. I know famous people.

I look fantastic, it’s cut low in the front and the back, and shows off my legs nicely. Add the shoes and my hair piled high on my head, and I’m red-carpet worthy, if I do say so myself.

I have read all of Kristen's books over thirty now so I know how her mind works so the story was very predictable so no surprises or shocks.

I felt that some of the writing was rushed at times and what was with all the "frown" "shrug" and "roll the eyes" this annoyed me and what was that ending??? Finn asks London a question and next page it's Acknowledgements STRANGE.

This was a disappointment for me, I am hoping the rest of the series will be stronger with a better plot, I will continue I guess they cannot all be 5* reads.

“Look at me. You’re mine, do you understand?”

Kristen Proby is kicking off a brand new SEXY series with All the Way, and I couldn’t be more excited for you to dive into Finn and London’s sweet and steamy love story! These characters will charm you. They will amaze and surprise you. They will leave you no choice but to fall head over heels in LOVE with them. The pace of the story was perfect. I was absolutely HOOKED from the prologue. Like with all of Proby’s love stories, I couldn’t put it down! Her brand of storytelling is spot on and it’s exactly what the romance community needs. As an avid romance reader of many years, I feel like this author just gets me…gets what I need out of a happily ever after. And that’s why I keep coming back for MORE! She soothes my soul and fills my heart with her incredible talent. So get ready to fall HARD for Finn and London’s beautiful story. Proby sets the scene like a pro, making you feel like you’re in the story, experiencing their journey right by their side. I loved it! You will love it! It’s PURE ROMANCE GOLD!

All The Way is the first book In the “Romancing Manhatten” and I was able to read this through the narration as I got a audio copy through my local library. I was really intrigued by this one here, and seeing the way that this story sets off was quite a unique set up and I always get a kick out of reading a Kristen Proby Novel. This one definitely had the typical Kristen Proby vibe to the story and yes it does contain the third act conflict. I was interested to see how this story would play out in the end though. there is quite a bit of chemistry that we get introduced into and I enjoyed seeing the background of the characters and that they are more of a mature age. Their interactions that they have with each other really built into the chemistry quite well and we see that they have a bond to each other that they build. I did get a hoot of entertainment as their communication skills aren’t always the best fo talent. The hero especially has a steamroll of a personality and likes to take care of people, you can tell that its his love language. They both are wealthy, so he likes to do things for the heroine without consulting her and we are talking BIG things that she should be consulted with and you definitely can tell that his heart is in the right place, he just doesn’t always know when to back down from it. For the most part, I really admire how patient the heroine is with the hero. She has quite a bit on her plate, including a self absorbed drug addicted brother and has no other family. So she stands on her own in a very strong independent way and I admired her for that. I really respected the way in which she stands for herself and setting heathy boundaries and it showcased well the normalization of a romantic relationship in this novel which I greatly appreciated. The story is well endearing and you get sucked into it very quickly. I also really admired the way in which the story was emphasized on and even though the third act was predictable (anyone that has read a Kristen Proby) knows this from experience, I nonetheless had a fabulous time with this book and eager to read books 2 and 3. If you are a fan of this author, or just an endearing, captures your feels type of contemporary, than I can’t recommend “All The Way” enough to you.

3 1/2 "Sweet and Sexy" Stars!

London was a little annoying. Finn was a little frustrating. I still liked them both; as well as the supporting cast. Another good KP read. She has my number for sexy sweet. Looking forward to what's next in Manhattan. Happy reading!

All the Way is the first novel in Kristen Proby's new Romancing Manhattan series, introducing us to Finn Cavanaugh and London Watson, as well as a slew of secondary characters that we're sure to see again. Finn Cavanaugh is handsome lawyer stuck with the difficult job of being the estate lawyer for London's parents who recently passed in a house fire. London Watson is a broadway beauty queen, though her dreams of continuing her dancing career are put on hold by the fire. It's not the right timing, but sparks fly between the two when they discover they're neighbors at the romantic Martha's Vineyard.

This fast-paced romance sucked me in from the start, with Kristen Proby starting the novel at the height of painful family drama. I immediately liked London, she's a charismatic woman who is both unashamed of her wealth and unaware how different she is from other women. Finn, on the other hand, took me a moment to warm up to, with his directness and desperate need to care for London. He's described so well and I really enjoyed his chapters, so in time I warmed up to him, can't say it's hard to imagine a man wanting to woo a beautiful, successful women by pulling out all the stops. London's life has been much like the drop of a rollercoaster and Finn wants nothing more than to bring her to the top.

"If I'm not mistaken, Finn Cavanaugh just claimed me"

The relationship progresses quickly, but it made for an entertaining, quick read. Each dives headfirst into one another, replacing the usual dating and getting to know each other with serious emotions and some bumps that shake things up a bit. Finn and London engage in some hilarious banter, a bit of delicious smut (Duh!), and there is quite a lot of world development as the characters take their romance from Martha's Vineyard to the skyline of Manhattan. Kristen Proby sets the stage with All the Way, introducing us to London's fellow dancers and revealing that Finn Cavanaugh is not the only handsome lawyer in his family. There's also a hint of mystery, something I hope we see in future books in the series. It's a layered novel, with several plot lines taking place at once before tying together in a neat, sweet bow.

"'There's a shortcut to my place down here,' she says with a wink. 'Just in case you ever need it.'"

Romancing Manhattan is an exciting new series from Kristen Proby and All the Way is a solid introductory novel. Longtime fans will love meeting new characters and new readers will find themselves swooning for the handsome, romantic heroes. I look forward to finding out what's next in this series, especially if we will be getting more of Carter and Quinn.

All the Way is the first book in the Romancing Manhattan series by Kristen Proby. Having only read a few books by the author in the past I was really excited to dive into this one and I wasn't disappointed! There were moments when the miscommunication thing got on my nerves, and there was so much sex I felt like it almost took over the plot however, when it got down to the root of London and Finn's relationship I found myself enjoying the journey. Finn and London clearly belonged together and their relationship felt right from the get go. This is what makes the story feel so special.

What that, I am looking forward to seeing where Kristen Proby takes us with the rest of the series. I am hoping that Finn's brothers will be getting their own stories because I am intrigued by their characters. Also, if she could take us back to Mather's Vineyard that would be great! I really connected with that piece of the setting in the story!

Kristen Proby fans, you don't want to miss out on her newest series! I think it's going to be quite the hit in the romance genre.

All the Way is the first book in the new Romancing Manhattan adult contemporary romance series. This series is about three brothers. I am assuming that we will most likely get one book for each brother.

In this book the main narrator is London. She is 32 years old and a Tony winning Broadway actress/singer/dancer. She was recently hurt so she is now recuperating.

The other narrator is Finn, a single lawyer. The book alternates narrators. However London is definitely the main storyteller, especially at the beginning.

I really enjoyed the story in All the Way. I love Broadway and so I loved to see a main character with a singing/dancing background.

I really loved Finn and his family. He was a bit controlling at times. But he had such a good heart. And I loved how he acted towards his mother and niece.

I also really liked that there was a bit of a mystery to the story.

For the most part this book was very good. The story was captivating and there were enough good twists to keep my interest. The main issue for me (which will probably be a selling point for many readers) is that this book is extremely sexy. I don't need scene after scene of sexy times. But overall this was a promising start to a new series.

There's little that is more exciting than the start of a new Kristen Proby series. That feeling knowing that you are about to meet characters you are going to want to spend time with, that you are going to feel a connection to, and that you are going to enjoy.

Finn and London definitely met my expectations. There was some world building, as there are 3 attorneys and I am guessing all will get their stories, but it was balanced well with telling their story.

I loved that Finn was just a little less than perfect, that he was a little awkward and had questionable timing when he initially approached London to ask her out. I loved that she only sort of held it against him. I loved how human, how real, and how touchable these characters felt.

When you pick up a book by Kristen Proby, you know you are going to get a story with heart. With characters who feel, and you feel right along with them.

I enjoyed and recommend this title. And, I can't wait for the next in the series.

London and Finn brought love All The Way

I'm in awe with this book! I always loved this author's work, but this one was somehow different.

Normally, her books are light, sexy, funny in a sweet way. And don't get me wrong, All The Way was also sexy and sweet, but it was also more intense than her other books.

Since the very first page I could see this would be a different kind of book. Not only for the tragedies it brought, but the whole vibe, the feelings, the fears and grief, the struggles and fights, they all felt more personal.

I'll continue to love her light stories, and sometimes they are exactly what I need, but it made me so happy, so touched to see this book, to see such a deep connection!

Finn and London were both strong, hard workers and a tiny bit controling (just a tad lol). They also experienced lost and profound grief in their lives. But that made them even more empathetic, more connected, they understood one another better.

Their love grew among pain from their past and consolation from one another. And one thing that I really like is that, even if Finn helped London, she didn't need to be saved.

She was her own person. She didn't need to be carried around. She just wanted someone to hold her hand, and Finn was that one.

They were sexy, so sexy together, they stood their ground when needed, they supported and took care of each other.

It was so beautiful to see. Their love was real and mature and left me wnting more!

"I love you, more than I ever thought it was possible to love another person. It seems that you came crashing into my life in one big, magical storm, and I can't remember what it was like before you"

I received this book for free from Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I've been really interested in reading this series about three brothers (or actually two brothers and a widowed brother in law) who are lawyers in Manhattan.  This one had a summery touch with being set in Martha's Vineyard.  Finn had updated the will for his neighbor in Martha's Vineyard as a favor and now finds himself reading the will to their son and daughter.  A daughter who is a famous Broadway actress and who was also badly injured during the accident that claimed the life of her parents.

I often find myself thinking the stories by Ms. Proby fall a little in the sweet and uncomplicated category.  ALL THE WAY is very much like that.  This was a charming story, really, but the low angst can also be a little boring.

Finn and London as characters were the best part of the story.  They're both mature, interesting adults.  They're both successful and have built the lives they wanted in terms of their careers.  Both have money and accomplishments.  I really liked seeing that because there's too much of the younger or just plain immature characters around.  This is also the thing that will keep me reading the series because I want to read more of it and I loved the glimpses of Finn's family.

That being said, the plot was lackluster for me.  There's a tiny bit of suspense that so easy to figure out and it's also non-existent for most of the book until we get to the very end.  By then, I was expecting at least some danger to keep my attention.  But it's all very easy to resolve and I was a bit dissatisfied with it.

Overall, though, I know I've pointed out some bad things but I did enjoy reading this story.  Like I said, it's packed full of charm and family.  I loved the Cavanaugh's and I do want to see more of them.  If you like reading about mature characters, definitely keep your eye out for this one.

Kristen Proby sits in my top 10 most read authors list. I enjoy her humor, her sense of family and love that comes out in all of her books. She also writes some freakin' hot moments along the way between her lead characters. I am very familiar with this author. That said, this is probably the least favorite of any book she has written.

It's the start of a new series I presume will follow Finn, Quinn and Carter. Finn and London meet at the reading of her parents will after a tragic accident. And then he asks her out on a dateafter having security escort her brother out of the building---weird. When they meet up again months later, it's like they never had that awkward interaction and with in a couple days they are sleeping together. I don't mind insta-love stories but I never get the feeling that they particularly like each other.

Finn and London both float along. We get to know a bit about them individually but as a couple, I just didn't get any swoony vibes at all. I finished the book and still wasn't too sure what they saw in each other other than great s3x.

The first book in a series, to me, should lay out the setting and the characters to come as the series progresses. I am mildly more interested to see what happens to Quinn and Carter but would be ok at this point if I don't read their books.

All that said, this seems a one off for this author. Her work is fantastic. I will give the rest of the series a shot just to see if she can bring it back around.

Just ok for me this time.

All the Way was such a great introduction to the new Romancing Manhattan series by Kristen Proby! It was relatively low angst but still super romantic. It had everything I've come to expect from Mrs. Proby's books from fun characters, lots of sexy time, humor filled moments, to such vivid descriptions of the places throughout the story. I find her ability to "paint a picture" with words as one of my favorite things about her writing.

London and Finn were so cute and they had such natural chemistry and connection. The fact that Finn knew her parents like he did added this depth to their relationship that I wasn't expecting. His natural inclination to take care of her was so swoon-worthy! I loved how bossy Finn could be and how independent London could be. They were both exactly what the other never knew they needed. Their relationship felt so real. They went through growing pains and had to learn to compromise with one another if they wanted to make it work.

This book had hope, humor and healing. It had witty banter and passion. If you want a true romance read and love a bossy H this book will be perfect for you. And just a little side note, I want all my Heroes 40 or older if Kristen is writing them! Finn was HOT!

I adore Kristen Probys writing so it was so secret how excited I was when I heard she was releasing a brand new series of books with some fresh new characters.

And it was no secret that I received an arc as even the neighbours heard me squeal with delight when i got the email saying I had been granted an ARC of this book 2 months before it's release.

In this story- we meet London- a Broadway star whom has recently had a massive tragedy hit her life- and Finn- a top shot lawyer.

This story had all the workings of Kristen Probys usual formula- boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love quickly, boy and girl have issue or drama at around the 70-80% mark.....

But- for me this formula works- I know what I'm getting- I know I'm finishing the story with a big ol smile on my face- and this one was no exception.

I do usually give Kristen pretty much 5*'s for everything she writes- but this one for me was only a 4* read. i just didn't connect to the characters as much as I have her previous ones. It could be that we're entering a fresh new batch of characters- and when you read Kristens books you get sucked into a whole family dynamic- and obviously with this being only book one you don't have that family feel yet.

But that said- it was still a solid 4* read! And I'm looking forward to see what the rest of the series brings.

Instant attraction turned into a sultry romance with plenty of promise for the future in All the Way, the first book in Kristen Proby’s brand spanking new series. And what an enjoyable time I had reading it.

‘If I’m not mistaken, Finn Cavanaugh just *claimed* me. And it was the hottest moment of my life.’

Written with the same attention to detail and comical, modern dialogue I instantly think of with Kristen Proby’s work, I truly flew through the pages of this book. Had I not been interrupted by pesky customers at work, I could have easily finished this in one sitting. (lol!) But seriously, the attraction between Finn and London was ridiculously good. Which of course meant the sexy time scenes were super hot–and boy didn’t Finn have a naughty side to him. *fans face* Read More

Likable book but just had a story that was bland. Even the most exciting part was over and done in no effort at all.
London, the female lead character was very annoying.

Tragedy can strike without any warning. For London – everything that she knew in her life was turned upside down in one moment. Trying to cope with the loss of her parents is compounded when London has to devote her own energy to recovering from that fateful night. Determined to pick up the pieces and find her way back to Broadway, London finds herself taking up residence in the one place that makes her feel the closest to the past.

Life at Martha’s Vineyard was nothing short of remarkable for London as a child. With the beach as a backdrop, London finds that the next door neighbor may make this trip of healing a whole lot better. As the lawyer that handled London’s parents will, Finn is known for his relentless pursuit of justice in the courtroom. Now – the handsome attorney can’t help but find his neighbor attractive.

Recovery for London seemed to move at a snail’s pace. During that recuperation stage, Finn provided London with a glimpse into life with an open heart. As London finds her life finally heading back to the spotlight, she finds that Finn is more important to her life than she originally thought.

All The Way is the first book in a new series by Kristen Proby. As with all Proby romances, there is an underlying sweetness to this story that longs to be uncovered. London has all of the strength that one would expect when thinking of a companion for Finn. The two take their time discovering what it means to love deeply and with conviction.

Now – while I did find the story littered with twinges of romance, I also found the plot extremely predictable. There is a little bit of a mystery that unfolds within this novel. Based on the overall plot, I am assuming that this secret was supposed to be a surprise. However – for me personally, the secret really was a mute point. To me there were too many elements shared in the very first chapter that led you to the correct conclusion. All in all – this novel was definitely the typical HEA that you would find in a standard romance on the market today!

•••••••••

REVIEW: 3.5 stars--ALL THE WAY is the first instalment in Kristen Proby’s contemporary, adult ROMANCING MANHATTAN erotic, romance series focusing on business partners and attorneys: Finn and Quinn Cavanaugh, and Carter Shaw . This is forty-year old, attorney Finn Cavanagh, and thirty-two year old, singer/dancer/ Tony Award winning actress London Watson’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Finn and London) ALL THE WAY follows the building relationship between forty-year old, attorney Finn Cavanagh, and thirty-two year old, singer/dancer/ Tony Award winning actress London Watson. Several months earlier London Watson would come face to face with her future, her father’s attorney, and the man with whom she would fall in love. But the tragic death of her parents, and the subsequent disaster that left our heroine with permanent injuries, finds London Watson recovering in the family home on Martha’s Vineyard. Enter attorney Finn Cavanagh, her next door neighbour and the man with whom London would fall in love. What ensues is the quick building relationship between London and Finn, and the fall-out as another potential disaster threatens London’s long fight for peace and rehabilitation.

Finn Cavanagh is a successful attorney whose down time spent on the east coast with his niece Gabby finds our hero falling for the woman next door. Hoping for something more than a summer fling, Finn offers to follow London, as she is offered a role on the country’s west coast. London Watson is an extremely independent and forceful heroine who isn’t above telling it like it is. Growing up in a controlled environment, she refuses to ‘allow’ anyone, including the man with whom she is falling in love, to control any aspect of her life although ‘control’ is a questionable action –in this, I struggled to sympathize with our story line heroine. Her acerbic condemnation of Finn’s actions were just short of rude, condescending and b*tchy.

The relationship between Finn and London begins as a seaside romance, a romance that will continue after Finn’s return to work, and London’s offer to work on the west coast. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic, language and text.

We are introduced to Finn’s brothers and fellow attorneys: widower Carter Cavanagh and his ten year old daughter Gabby; Quinn Cavanagh, whose over protective nature pushes all of his mother’s (Margaret Cavanaugh) buttons; London’s friend and colleague Sasha; superstar Jeffrey Cameron, and London’s brother Kyle.

ALL THE WAY is a story of family, friendship, betrayal and pain. The premise is entertaining but the conflict resolution, and the building mystery was predictable and disappointing. The romance was seductive and provocative but I struggled with the heroine’s attitude and need for control-there is a fine line between independent and strong vs b*tch; the characters were colorful and charismatic. I am looking forward to a happily ever after for both Quinn and Carter.
