Ughhhh the thing is, this would probably be my favorite volume yet, except it does two very bad things.

First of all, whYY is it eVER necessary to insert a pedophilic teacher character (on top of the grossly inappropriate father character that we already have.) Secondly, whYYYYYY must we make Hori assault and grope other women as if that’s just normal and fine???? None of this is entertaining or interesting. It’s just annoying.

Aside from that, we finally get to see the beginning of Sengoku and Remi and Sakura’s relationship. And it’s so sweet! Remi and Sengoku have been some of my least favorite characters, largely because we know so little about them and they’re such an odd couple. It was nice to get some insight into their backstories.

Also, we get a nice new year’s date with Hori and Miyamura! I realized there aren’t many long scenes anymore with just the two of them, so when you get to see them alone together it feels like a real treat. Everyone around them cause such chaos and it feels like the story is moving along at a breakneck pace, it’s interesting to see how slowly the titular relationship is progressing in the background.

I'm still feeling disappointed by the main characters and their story, but am bumping up the rating because I liked the little backstory about how Remi and Sengoku started dating. They seem like a better match here than they had previously.

This volume delves more into Sengoku's life and how his relationship started with Remi. They've come a long for me, since their first appearance where I instantly disliked them and became lovable characters. Also, Miyamura and Sawada's relationship depens and it makes my heart happy. The comedy is still amazing, though we've got some questionable things as it happens with manga/anime: perverted teacher - groping - objectifying girls.

I honestly gave up on this series awhile ago, but I decided to continue because the anime is coming out soon. Reading this volume, I remember why I stopped. The series lost its wholesome magic and sweetness that I go to shoujo manga for.

There were some chapters where I felt uncomfortable that I didn't expect from this sort of school romance shoujo manga. TW: pedophilic perverted teacher, nonconsensual groping

I gave this volume another star (It would've been one star without this) because I really liked a flashback we had about Sengoku and Remi's relationship. It was very sweet, and I wished we had more moments like that one.

The sengoku's have been in the mercy of the hori's for generations lol xD The funny thing is they don't even realize that they bully them xD But when push comes to shove, Hori will always have the pres's back. She will annihilate anybody that tries to hurt him. That's the best kind of friendship right there. (I'm not sure if her dad will do the same tho xD)

This series is really cute I'm glad that Sengoku and Remi got a story on how they got together it was really cute :). Also, it's nice to see how Hori and Miyamura plan to stay together "forever" but who knows if Hori is willing to make sacrifices for them.

Dang, I just love how Miyamura is practically a part of Hori family. I just love how they treat him. Augh! But when can we see Kyoko coming over at Miyamura's and maybe meeting Miyamura's mother? I need to see thaat!!

hmm, they are talking about 'forever being together' quite a lot, but what about sacrifices? she doesn't seem to be up for that, meanwhile, he really does.
damn, why is hori touching the other girl's boobs? doesn't she have a bit of dignity? seems not.
the boob talk between the boys was cringeworthy.
sengoku was right when he said hori's a demon, her actions really makes you think so.
also I cannot stand that teacher, he's a pervert. how is he even allowed to be in that high school.
that interrogation of miyamura regarding hair, piercing and tattoos by hori's family was really funny.
OK I have to admit it finally was as funny as in the beginning ^.^ I'm glad.

It's such a shame that this series throws in some seriously disturbing jokes because the other like 80% of the stories are very cute. This volume takes the awful jokes to a new level with Hori sexually assaulting Yoshikawa in a new low for the anime trope where girls compare boob size. I find it very insulting that this is what men think women talk about amongst themselves. Even worse, the perverted teacher is back, and the manga makes a "joke" about this teacher inspecting Hori as he is accusing her of having sex on school property. I want to vomit, how can anyone on this planet think this is funny.

If I got only one day to live, I'd tell you I liked you and then I'd become cosmic dust. The end.

I picked up this series because I saw it was an anime and wanted to check it out. I'm so glad that I did because I loved every moment of Hori and Miyamura's sweet relationship. It's such an adorable story with engaging characters. I love that the story has all their friends lives intertwined within their romance.

I ended up devouring the first 10 in quick succession because I wanted to see how the series would play out. I need to finish the series so I can watch the anime. I think the new season is coming out.

Highly recommend one of my favorite manga series that I read in 2023.

Great characters and a sweet adorable love story.

I'm stilling enjoying their high school antics, but I'm still not recalling some of the edge side characters. And a lot of the guys really look the same to me...
