Wenn man den Anime nicht kennt, ist der Manga ab und zu etwas verwirrend, aber es gibt sooo viele Zuatzcomics zu den Pleiaden <3

This is a great book! In this one, the lizardmen are ganna fight Cocytus army but Cocytus won't join the fight? Will the lizardmen win or will Cocytus.

Maruyama's, the author of the Overlord novel source material, talent is the ability to create likable characters the reader would invest in. The author would introduce several characters at once, develop them, then feed them to the meat grinder that is the main character and his followers.

The reader would get invested in these noble lizardmen, only to realize at the end that Ainz can't be stopped. As the villain in this series, and as well as the main character, Ainz will get his devil's due.

Our new protagonist Zaryusu begins his quest to unite the lizardmen tribes against the rising threat that is "The Supreme One" and his undead army while the mini boss Cocytus observes from afar.

And if this were truly Zaryusu's story, he would prevail with the power of love and friendship, taking his first step in the epic tale that ends with him finally defeating the evil Ainz Ooal Gown and saving the world! But this is not that tale, so be ready for some twists.

The battles in this volume are really cool and well built up too. The lizardmen tribes have some really interesting abilities along with weapons

The extra between the chapters explaining about them along with there treasures were really welcomed.

That final special chapter was really cool too seeing the pleiades day!

The art and story were okay, but among the light novels, anime, and manga, this is probably my least liked story arc. I am looking forward to when the 7th volume in the manga is released, but I believe that to be another few months away, sadly.

Ich empfand diesen Band bisher als den Besten aus der Reihe. Wie die Charaktere introduced wurden & der Kampf an sich gefielen mir recht gut. Aber dennoch nicht top notch

After getting a warning of imminent invasion the various lizard men tribes must band together to face the threat. Curiously Ainz has limited his commander for the invasion which makes me wonder if Cocytus is being taught some kind of lesson or if Ainz really just wants tougher undead. Either way Cocytus being too honorable gave the lizard tribes time to gather and this book gives us the results of what forces they could muster. It is interesting what a common enemy can do to bring people together no matter how different they are.

I think one of my favorite moments of the book is probably the macho displays between Zaryusu and Zenberu Gugu early in the volume because it is obvious Zaryusu has a thing for Crusch Lulu though she is not his yet significant other yet and Zenberu uses that affection to motivate Zayusu to fight harder (and we get a little sample of how strong the Lizard folks can get before the actual battle or alliance is formed.)
