Давам 5 звездички на тази книга, защото Мари Кюри е била велик учен. В книгата, обаче имаше много сложни за четене думи и за разбиране термини по физика и химия. Мама каза, че когато порастна ще ги уча в училище.

Научих толкова нови неща за Мари Кюри. Може и да съм ги знаела в гимназиалните години, но определено доста факти бяха нова информация за мен. Чудесни илюстрации и вълнуваща история. Малко повечко сложни думи и термини за детската аудитория.

Брала книжку на подарунок дитині - але не втрималась, і прочитала. І вона чудова!

Супер-інформативна, хоча в ній мало сторінок. У книжці описано дуже багато подробиць життя Марі Кюрі: як особистого, так і професійного, зокрема добре розкрито, як вона прийшла до своїх досягнень, чому її взагалі цікавила наука, і як виглядав її шлях до Нобелівських премій. При цьому текст супроводжується багатьма яскравими й красивими ілюстраціями, ще й цитатами з щоденника Марі (і читається ледь не як комікс!).
Взагалі, цю книжку не те, що рекомендувала б прочитати всім-всім-всім, але також і включити до програми з хімії в школах :)

Hieno elämäntarina ja ihana kuvitus. Suomentajalle palautetta että voitaisiinko jo luopua termeistä kuten ”tiedemies”? Edes silloin kun sille on jokin selkeä suomenkielinen sukupuolineutraali vaihtoehto, kuten ”tieteilijä” tässä esimerkissä.

Mit der Reihe „Kleine Bibliothek großer Persönlichkeiten“ hat der Laurence King Verlag versucht, ein Stückchen vom Erfolgskuchen der „Little People, BIG DREAMS“-Serie abzubekommen. Dieses Büchlein über die polnische Physikerin und Chemikerin Marie Curie, die Entdeckerin des Radiums, ist wunderschön gestaltet und großartig illustriert von Anke Weckmann. Besonders die Farbgebung in Neongelb und -pink hat es mir angetan. Der Text ist ausführlicher als die der „Little People, BIG DREAMS“-Reihe und damit auch interessant für ältere Kinder. „Marie Curie“ liefert einen spannenden ersten Einblick in Leben und Forschung (das ist richtig clever gemacht und mal wieder ein Beweis, dass Kinderbücher lesen auch Erwachsene schlauer macht) der Nobelpreisträgerin und ist darüberhinaus ein echtes Schmuckstück.

Simple to understand language.

An interesting (and somewhat quirky) new series of biographies. Books are uniquely shaped and brightly illustrated and contain a good amount of information on the person whose life and accomplishments are described. I read this book right before reading Demi's biography on Curie, and I found it interesting which information each author chose to share. It would be great if research information and resources were included along with the timeline, glossary and index that are in the back matter.

Lo conseguí en la biblioteca de Santiago.
Es marzo y como tradición queria leer biografías. ¿He leído muchas cosas de Marie Curie y me se muchas cosas de su vida? Sip, pero me llama la atención como lo abordan.
Intuyo que este relato esta orientado para niñes, y encuentro que es de los más completos que he encontrado, lo amo, habla de todo lo que paso Marie a rasgos generales y de manera muy bonita, cuando en realidad las cosas fueron más oscuro pero igual nombran la muerte de Pierre pero no a que punto la afecto, es una parte que me da pena:c
Ahora con respecto a esta edición es hermosa!! las ilustraciones son preciosas, las anotaciones de sus cuadernos me parecen hermosas, es un libro muy bonito y uno que espero comprar en un futuro próximo, por que sin duda espero iniciar una colección de la vida de Marie, en una vida pasan tantas cosas que espero leer y saber más detalles de su vida.

Още една от книгите за забележителни личности в съвременната световна история. Макар поредицата да е подходяща за възраст над 7-8 години, струва ми се, че специално в тази книга има малко повече химия и физика и е по-подходяща за деца над 10 години с някакви базови познания по тези дисциплини. Но, разбира се, възрастовата препоръка е винаги условна. За мен това е една от най-добрите биографични книги, написани за деца. Аз самата научих доста (или си припомних добре забравеното старо?).
Вече и с въпросник в Книговище.

Got my copy of this book in the Curie Museum in Paris. I loved this book. Especially "The Impacts of Marie's Amazing discoveries" and the timeline in the back of the book. That is why I love knowledge book for kids. You will not get overwhelmed with too many facts, but you still will learn new stuff. Very enjoyable read.

Гарна серія "Маленьки історії Великих Людей" ВСЛ. Невелички книжечки, яскраві кольорові. Але порівнюю зі "Спалах думки" К.І.С. Луки Новеллі. Там малюнки веселіші, щось типу комікс-карикатура, і текст інформативніший.
Але і ця класна.

This was a good informational book to read about all that Marie Curie did and all her accomplishments. It inspires young children everywhere and really sparked an interest in me. It was great to learn everything that Marie did and would be a good book for older children who need inspiration.
