Far Fields #2

The Remnant

Rate this book
How far will the New Age philosophy with its "politically correct" doctrine take us? The Remnant, the second futuristic novel in The Far Fields series, continues the story which began in Beyond the River - that of a world where total authoritarian government has replaced family and rewritten history.
Pursued by the relentless Peacekeepers, David, Starr and the Remnant flee into the underworld of the Domed City known as the Shadowland. Here, they gather to worship in secret, but when a spy infiltrates their ranks they find themselves captives of the Peacekeepers. Now it is up to Mingo, a former enemy turned friend, to save the Remnant.

Gilbert Morris usually doesn't write like this so it was....different. Usually his books are historical fistion, but this one was sort of based around the end times. The story line was good, but the execution of the story could have been a little better. Also, the second book jumped around alot and ended rather suddenly.
