I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, I looked at this cover, I read the summary, and here I thought I'll be getting a marathon of happy shit. BOI, I THOUGHT. This was painful, bittersweet, sad, funny, heart-wrenching, cute, and overall: amazing. It was aaaammmaaaaazing. Especially if you're a fan of the gekkou pair. Oh, baby.
This is part of the 1945 "Blue Graph" series, which you can say is the "season 2" of the main series (vol 1-5). This volume -> vol 1 of Blue Graph (or vol 6 of the 1945 series) is a collection of short stories that focuses on the characters from vol 1 (Tenkyuugi no Umi) and vol 2 (Ao no Katami). If you had any questions from vol 1 and 2, it'll probably be (mostly) answered in this book. You get tons of povs here: Rokurou, Yuki, Wataru (yes, I said Wataru!!), their older brother, Dai (djfddkf;;;), their father, Sei (omg, this one...!!!!), Yuki's classmate in the flight program, an American soldier named Roger (THIS ONE SKDJFKDF;;;), the mechanic Akiyami, etc.... surprisingly, no Motonori pov! and I wished there was a Saitou pov somewhere sob oh well D':
JUST SO MUCH FEELS PACKED OVER AND OVER, OMGGGG YOU GUYS.
I can't really say much about this book since you really need to read vol 1-2 first. You learn more about the characters, and and.... T_____T
I absolutely love the Gekkou pair so this was (sob sob sob) amazing for me over and over. Yuki is precious, Wataru is soooooo cute, Rokurou is seme of the year and forever, Motonori... I dunno. Yuki's and Wataru's family are the best though (T___T).
I'm just rambling, but even though there's super cute moments here, there's also lots of angsty, sad, and bittersweet moments in here as well (to meeeee). Tears formed several times while reading this. Absolutely no sex scenes here, so if you want butt smex, you're reading the wrong book. The illustrations are drawn by Maki, and she even added some manga type illustrations in here so major plus. There's 2 illustrations that crushed my soul, I almost choked up in tears looking at it, like wtf. Like i said, i adore Gekkou pair, so when they suffer, I suffer D:
You can read this right away after vol 1-2. No need to read vol 3-5. And yeah!
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS. READ AND WEEP! Wntil the next volume...
