Krayter is the fifth book in the Mated to the Alien series about a race of aliens doomed to die if they don't meet their fated mates. The series can be read in any order and there are no cliffhangers!
Krayter came to Earth with his brother knowing it was the best lace to go and find a mate, a mate if he doesnlt find my his 30th birthday, he will waste away and die like his sister before him. When he crashes on a hostile, anti-alien settlement the last thing he expects to find is his mate.
Human, Penny, doesn't share the ant-alien hate filled sentiments of her father, but in order to protect her two younger sisters she keeps her thoughts to herself and tries to toe the line, but when she comes across Krayter, she knows that she can’t let her father’s men find him. Something about him calls to her and she will not let him die. When she, along with her sistsers and Krayter journey to get somewhere safe, her father's men follow and if they get hold of any of them things won't be good.
I have to say I think Penny having been put in a situation where she had I did want a bit more heat to fan off the pages but the attraction between Krayter and Penny was apparent.
Penny💋 is the daughter of the two most powerful people in her 🌎world. Her world is the Highland Settlement, a closed society, no aliens👹 or outsiders, even as the rest of the world goes on without her. There is an electronic field around the Settlement lands that disables any type of vehicle driven through it. Krayter🐺🍌🌋 is an alien, a huge blue Detyen warrior🔪🔫, come to 🌎Earth to find a mate before he is 30. He will die at 30 if he doesn't find his lifemate💘, or Denya. He drives his speeder through the barrier surrounding the Settlement, and crash lands in a river when the electronics go out on it. Penny's younger sisters, Nicole and Resa, find Krayter🐺🍌🌋🔪🔫, half drowned and dying of hypothermia, and haul him back to their cabin to hide him. Penny💋 catches them, and she knows that if her father's men find his crashed speeder, they will search for him relentlessly, and kill him. Her father is the law at Highland Settlement. Something draws her to Krayter🐺🍌🌋🔫🔪. Krayter🐺🍌🌋🔪🔫 is drawn to her. She is his Denya,💘 his lifemate. Now she is his, he is hers, and she has to save his life. Krayter🐺🍌🌋 seems to be able to read her mind and influence her thoughts, drawing her into his arms, and his huge 🔥hot blue Johnson🍌🌋. YEHAW! Ride Em Bareback🍌, Cowgirl!🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
This a well written book, and although it takes place on 🌎Earth, the Settlement is a very foreign feeling place somewhere in the United States. There are some xxx scenes but this is mainly an adventure story and a story of how two people become friends and lovers🍌🌋, and change other people's bigoted minds. Recommend!
This Book 5 in the Mated to the Alien Series is an exceptionally-written story with amazing characters that are strong, powerful and arrogant. These characters are well crafted and you feel as if you know them and feel their emotions. This story has action, adventure, twists, turns, chemistry and love. This is a must read story in a great series by an amazing Author

This was a very interesting and enjoyable read, with a slight different take on alien males and their mates. The world created around the characters and the reasons for what they do is new and exciting, and all round entertaining. Krayter and Penny are intriguing characters, Krayter is not your typical alien male but his really sweet. Penny is a strong, compassionate character, but both have have their own fair share of troubles. A entertaining read, and I'm looking forward to the next book. Two lovers who risk their lives for a future together! by sewsummore
Krater had not expected to find himself the captive of two young girls, but after his speeder had crashed into the river, he counted himself lucky to be alive, even if he was blindfolded and tied to a chair. Penny was upset and angry at the risk her two younger sisters had taken in capturing the blue-skinned alien. She knew if her father had found him, he would have been killed on sight but, now that they had she knew it would be up to here to remedy the situation. She would have to take him to safety, and she knew her sisters would not let her go alone. Penny's father was the leader of the Highland Settlement, a human-only village that had sprouted fifty years ago that didn't allow space aliens within its borders. Their escape from the village would be difficult, but Penny had long planned for this eventuality, and she just hoped they could make their way to her mother's home without their father catching them. Penny had been both sister and mother to her two younger sisters after her mother had fled the village, she refused to let them become xenophobic or hardened like her father. I found his book interesting and absorbing read. Krayter had come to Earth in search of his denya after his cousin had found and bonded with his human denya. Krayter had felt his bond with Penny almost immediately but refused to reveal what it would mean if Penny accepted their bond and became his one true mate. Penny, as the leader's daughter, had been isolated from romantic attachments, and caring for her younger sisters had not left any time for romance. I enjoyed reading about the attraction between Krayter and Jenny, his protection and admiration for Jenny was genuinely romantic, and his love for Jenny would not let her confuse her love with pity to obligation. Two lovers who risk their lives for a future together! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Being Detyan isn't as bad as it used to be. The sexy young males who search the universe for their mates (denyas) must still succeed by age 30 or die, but ever since some Detyans discovered that human females can be denyas the odds have shifted more in their favor. In addition to being sexy gorgeous hunks, Detyans are smart, which explains why Kayleb and younger brother Krayter have moved to Earth If you need a human female, go to the source, right? Ah, but Detyan luck being what it is, poor Krayter finds his denya only to discover she's the renegade daughter of some crazed xenophobe gun-nut survivalist. Penny's on the run from Daddy Dearest, towing along her two younger sisters, and Krayter's crash-landing in prepper-land is as likely to get them all killed as it is to save them. Penny can't think of anything beyond getting herself and her sisters to freedom and safety, and since Krayter is certain Penny's his denya, he's along for the ride. Scary crashes, creepy chases, assorted nut-cases, and bitter betrayals that aren't what they seem - the twists and turns are crazy right up to the end. Penny's a little self-involved, but she gets better as the story progresses. Krayter is all Detyan - resourceful, true-blue, committed to his woman, her sisters, his brother, and a future for all of them. It's a thrilling, chilling, sexy and wild love story, with brother Kayleb waiting in the wings for his turn. BTW, I'm reviewing an ARC of this book, but the opinion expressed is totally my own. Go, Detyans!
For me this book has an old fashioned feel to it, where the men are in charge and the women need to do as they are told. Penny is a strong if not belabored sister taking care of her younger siblings. Some of that protection is also in regards to their father who thinks of his female children as objects that he can control and do with what he pleases.
When Krayter runs amok of their protective fence he finds himself also falling under Penny’s protection. The people that work with her father would kill an alien with no compunction. The plan is to get her sisters and Krayter out from under her father’s watchful eye and some place safe for all of them.
Of course once Penny and Krayter meet the Detyen bonds kicks in and these two have to try and stave it off while trying to get Krayter out to meet his family. Penny is myopic when it comes to her sister, it seems “must protect them” was her mantra to the exclusion of common sense at times.
Once they hit the city it’s like stepping into the future and away from the very rural rustic setting that they just left. Once Krayter is reunited with his family several new wrinkles arise and then we have to wade throw a very preachy, feminist session to let the old males in the city know that women have rights too.
So while the relationship between Penny and Krayter was sweet, the rest of the story seemed to be a bit over the place for me.

Great plot and characters! I love the Starr Huntress books and especially this one by Kate Rudolph. Krayter hoped to find his denya on Earth but lost hope that it would happen in time when his air shuttle crashes. But fortunately, he is saved by his fated one. Penny had always shouldered the burden of caring for those dependent upon her, including her two young sisters. She felt an instant inexplicable connection with Krayter but put it down to a simple, but strong, attraction. I loved this story and all the complicated obstacles, family uber-drama, dangerous survivalist surroundings, and a hateful villain. Yet still, our H/h find and explore that love connection. Krayter is strong but not aggressive, letting his mate be the strong, caring woman and leader she is. Her sisters are a handful but she is raising them well despite her mother, newly in the picture again, and her horrible father who only acknowledges his daughters as necessary adjuncts to his power position in their community. Great story, strong characters, and a satisfying HFN. I received a free copy of this book and which I voluntarily read and reviewed.
Kayleb and Krayter have moved to Earth looking for possible Denyas. But when Krayter goes on a scouting mission, he gets shot down by a forcefield over very dangerous country, think very strict cult who HATE aliens!!
Penny is the eldest daughter of the leader of said cult but even though she and her sisters have been immersed in this rhetoric, they still come to Krayters aid, albeit with ropes and threats of harm included! Penny knows she has to get Krayter away from her father ASAP. but she didn't think her two young sisters would come to! But Resa and Nicole are hellions and will not be left behind at their fathers mercy.
They end up on the run, ambushed and they are plenty of twists and turns to get your blood pumping. Penny is reluctant at first when she realises what she is to Krayter, but I loved all the wooing he did, he really had to work for his HEA.
I really can't wait for the next book cos I need to know that poor Kayleb is ok. He was in a sorry state by the end of this book.
I absolutely love this series about the Detyen warriors. As a Detyen nears his 30th birthday, he must find his Denya (mate) or he will die. There is an option to become soulless, extending their lives in a sort of emotionless existence where they carry out assignments for the Legion until they are “retired” (disposed of).
Krayter knows that the best way to locate his Denya is to go to Earth to look for his female. But his cruiser crashes in the settlement where they would immediately kill an alien. Krayter is found and rescued by two sisters whose older sister, Penny, realizes she had to get him away right now. Something about the intriguing blue man calls to her and she will not let him die.
With no other choice, Penny, Krayter, and her sisters head out to try to reach a safe place. Krayter and Penny are responding to the mate instinct and feel the attraction. But what will Krayter do when Penny and one of her sisters are captured by their crazed father?
When Krayer has a speeder accident while staying on Earth, and discovers he’s crashed in the territory of an Alien hating isolationist enclave, he turns to humor and notes that the murderous cult wasn’t marked on his map, or he’d have steered clear. Penny is known to be her father’s daughter, which affords her some protections, but also means it is assumed she hates Aliens as much as her father, the enclave’s leader.
When Krayter realizes Penny is the one being for him, the Denys who could save his life, it is not lost on him he may first have to deal with some of her views of life, and living beings.
I loved the way Penny not only took responsibility for herself, but also caring for her younger sisters. The family dynamic, and Krayter’s respect and appreciation for it turned this story into a page turner for me.

Krayter is a Detyan who has traveled to Earth to find his denya before he turns 30.
Penny is a woman who lives in her father's isolated, alien hating compound. She is protecting her two younger sisters, so she can't leave, even if she wanted to.
That is, until Krayter crashes into the river in her father's compound. Penny and her sisters flee, taking Krayter with them. He's happy to go, because Penny is his denya.
I love this series, and this book is no different. Krayter is different to other Detyans we've seen. He's been worried about finding his denya, but that never stopped him from sowing his oats. But, when he finds Penny, she's all he thinks about. I like Penny, she's tough, strong, and protective. She's careful and plans way ahead. I can respect that.
I have not figured out where books 1-4 are but #5 was a delight. The storyline was not your average girl meets alien. Rather, it took place on the planet where the heroine Penny lived with her two sisters under the thumb of a controlling father in an area where they all hated aliens. Our hero is Krayter, an alien, who crashes on the territory of the alien-haters. Captured by the two younger sisters of Penny, the story continues as the three girls try to save Krayter from the people who live with their father and are also alien haters. As Penny and Krayter bond, the situation gets more and more complicated. Add more aliens, the mother who lost her children to the alien-hating father and the story gets better and better. So, you should give this book a try and find out the surprising ending.
The Detyen Species is really fantastic. They must find their fated mates by the age of thirty of they waste away and die. Krayter goes to Earth to find his mate as he is running out of time. He crashes into a hostile settlement. He gets rescued by Penny's younger sisters. Penny knows that if her father finds him then he's as good as dead. Penny grabs her sisters and all four head to their mothers settlement in order to be safe. There just one problem and that's when Penny and one sister gets kidnapped by their father. Will Krayter be able to save them without getting himself killed. I love this who series. I can't pick one that I like better than another one. If I do then Kate Rudolph writes another great story. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Krayter never expected to meet his mate after a freak accident. He also never expected to be hogtied by 2 little girl either. Penny never expected to find an alien tied up in her shed. Regardless she knows how the people in her town feel about aliens and need to figure out a way to get him out. Using Krayter as a catalyst she decides to escape her father and takes her sisters with her. Will she be able to get to her mother safely with her sisters and krayter? Can she and Krayter have a relationship? Will her father seek revenge for her decision to leave and take her sister? This is worth the read to find out. I enjoyed it and can't wait to read the next story for this series.

This is a true love story. Krayter and Penny are the perfect match and the denya bond starts to form before he even sees her. Considering she was raised in the belief killing aliens on sight was the correct thing to do it doesn't take long for a change of heart after meeting the imprisoned Krator. I loved how he isn't a kick-ass hero with outstanding weapon and technical skills. But he will die to protect his denya and her sisters. He's a near perfect mate and will do anything for her. I especially liked their Central Park experience. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Krayter crashes his cruiser in a hostile settlement. He is rescued by two teenagers. Their older sister, Penny, finds them in the shed. Penny isn't sure what to do with him, she knows he will be killed by her father and his followers if he is found. When her father decides that her sisters need to be under his roof she determines that now is the time to escape and take her sisters. The four head out and try to get to their mothers compound in order to be safe. Krayter and Penny grow close. What happens when Penny and one of her sisters is kidnapped by their father? Must read to find out. A great story.

Loved the premise for this one! Alien Krayter crash lands in enemy territory; a human only area on Earth that is shoot to kill against aliens, but luckily for him, he finds some help from Penny. Human Penny has been raised to hate aliens, but she has a mind of her own and uses her intelligence to realize hate isn’t the way. Loved Penny’s strength, and that she stands up for herself and those she loves. Krayter is a sweetheart! Good chemistry between them; Love the whole Denya/Mate scenario too. Some good action! Fun and entertaining! I’ve really enjoyed every book I’ve read of Rudolph’s; one of my favorite alien romance authors, excited for more!
Although this story takes place on Earth, it's a whole different setting than the other stories and I was fascinated by the cult-like attitudes Penny and her sibs had to grow up with. Of course, that initially made it hard to see how a romance could come together for an alien and a supposed alien hater. Kate Rudolph pulled it off beautifully, though, and I really enjoyed the characters, their dynamics and of course the steam sparking between Penny and Krayter. Expect action, drama and a strong woman lead to hold your attention and make this a one-sit reading experience, as it was for me. Great fun!
I loved this story about Krayter and Penny! She didn't just fall in his lap. She made him work for it dbl. time. He is such an easy going guy and rather funny at times. He put up with an awful lot just to be near her. In the end, they will have the best relationship. He proved himself over and over. Penny's Dad is a real piece of work which is why he had to work so hard to win her. He got back lash from her sisters and Mother as well. Poor guy. He proved himself over and over. Lots of action and turmoil. He has a brother who is totally opposite Krayter. He is the next story. He's A grumpy puss and should be loads of fun to read.
Krayter is a Detyen an a time limit, he has 30 years to find a mate or he will die. Since some of his people have been finding mates that are from earth. He goes to earth But things aren't as smooth as he had hoped.
Penny is human and willing to do anything to protect her two sisters even it is means she is traped under her father's iron fist but when a hot blue alien craches. Things change. Now what's she going to do? Love the acting and drama in this the twists and turns are wonderful syfy fans will love it. Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.
This was another fantastic enjoyable book in this brilliant collection. I loved reading Krayter and Penny's story, characters I've met in other books briefly (I've not read the Detyen books in order). Both Krayter and his brother Kayleb are in the previous book. This had a great storyline that captures your attention and engages you, with likeable imaginative characters that you become invested in. I haven't get read Kaylebs story and I'm looking forward to it. This can be read as a standalone, however for background information I'd recommend reading the others.
Another good read by Kate. I love her books especially these because there is so much going on. The poor Deyton’s have to find a mate by a certain age and they seem to be having good luck with humans. They have no home planet and females are hard to come by. I will continue to read all these books as they come out because there are still a few I would like to know what will happen to them. I can’t wait for the next adventure.

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
Krayter is a Denyan alien who will die at the age of thirty if he doesn’t find his mate. Penny is a resident of an alien hating town called Highland Settlement. Krayter finds himself captive and Penny wants him free. She refuses to murder him for being. Their journey takes them to Penny’s mother and then, New York where Krayter’s brother, Kayleb, is worrying about him. After some adventure, they mate and find their HEA.
Kate and Starr have done it again. With each book in The Mated to the Alien it gets better and better. It is gritty and powerful. It kept me on the edge of my seat and did not let me get off this ride until it was finished. The thing I like most about this series is that the authors do not use a lot of filler. They make each word count. It was exceptionally written and the world development is really good. I am looking forward to more.

Krayter is on a mission to find his mate before he dies at age 30. He heads to earth where he crashes in anti-alien territory and is saved by Resa and Nicole, the younger daughters of the leader of the territory. When the older sister Penny shows up to get him out of harms way and decide to move him to her mothers compound, Krayter meets his mate. The story line was interesting and had action, kidnappings, lies, crazy cult leader and amazing chemistry between Penny and her alien. A great read.

This is one of my favorite stories so far in this series. Penny is just a down to earth young woman in a not very pleasant situation when she discovers her sisters have captured an alien. The alien, Krayter, recognizes her as his fated one. The conflict in this story is not between the H/h but rather with her father and his hatred of aliens. The story moves along at a good pace and there is that HEA we are waiting for. Great reading.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and was under no obligation to leave a favorable review. All opinions are my own.
Penny is a Denya . penny is practically pit as soon as her maid lands or kind of crashes into a human settlement. Problem? Her family is one of the most influential. She is not an anti-alien meeting person. She is just wants to be a mate. Krytrons is not surprised his Denya is human. That’s where the adventure begins. Villains, hiding, exposing the truth and keeping Penny is the goal. Can’t wait to see if his brother gets his turn.

I stayed up ridiculously late to finish reading this book, it was so addictive! All of the story elements were on point. There is a fantastic base story, with Penny and Kreyak and their survival journey, and the subplots could have easily been main plots in another kind of story. There is deep emotional development and so much violent action, I was spellbound. It's a great story, you should check it out!
Kate Rudolph writes about the Detyen species as if they're real, alive and healthy. An amazing read with all of her books. Each one I think is my fave until I read the next one!! Krayter was among one of the best books I've read! He's sweet and delicious and his mate is very relatable to us women and amazing! You won't regret reading/buying this book! I didn't!
