Great read as always....Angela White doesn’t disappoint. Onto book nine...Last Call....not sure why goodreads doesn’t recognize it.

What can you say after reading this book? I said WOW, I love her writing no mater what book.
All of these books in Life After War are simply spell bound. I start start to sleep and give up sleep to read.
This book has a lot of the romantic side to it and it was good reading. This is just such a change from my other ARC reads. All through this book there are many things we learn about the characters.
It is a great read and if your reading the series then you need this book.

Well, Angela's done it again............left us hanging on until we once again join "Safe Haven" for further adventures in staying alive till we reach the island. However, Dog is again on the way home to Marc, and that's great news. We lost so many good people this time and it's sad they have departed the saga, but we still have the core group leading on and here is hoping more "good" people will find them and join up to help save humanity. OK Angela, hurry up and get with book #9 and give all of us faithful readers more of "Safe Haven" adventures. Enjoyed the ride once again and I'm doing the hurry up and wait dance once again. I did try and savor the ride and kept myself from reading in one big read, but from the time I started till I ended seemed to fly by. But I read other things in between so I could make this last as long as I did. Wanted to just keep reading, but knew it will be some time for the next book to be released.
One thing I would like to know, Angela when will we get more of Alexa's Travels books?????? Waiting for more of those too.

I can't explain why I stay with this series but I'm hopelessly hooked. It has so much depth. It's made me think of all the possibilities with regard to choices that we make in life.
I guess I've read some immediate releases that have not been completely proofed due to typos and grammatical errors, but that's ok. Those little things have not taken away from the story at all.
I have to admit that I was very confused with what was said to be book 9 because I've already read it as book 7.
I love the back stories. They explain a lot about the nature of the characters.
I also love the Alexa's travels books and am just now getting into the Bachelor Battles.
Overall, I love this story. It's had twists and turns that I did not expect at all. This would be a great mini series!
Looking forward to whatever is next!

Spectacular!!!
Just when I think everything is alright here we go again! Boss is back and the two men she loves have become pals....or have they?? We've got to get that boat and head to the island as quick as possible. No more niceties, it's now or never!!!
The only thing I disliked about this wonderful book is that it ended too soon. :( Now I'll have to find something else to read....hmmm...... while anxiously awaiting the next adventures of Safe Haven, the Eagles, and members.

As always, the Life After War series is simply amazing. White pulls you in and doesn't let go until the final sentence. Then she delights you with deleted scenes. Amazing storytelling. Can't wait for the next one. My ultimate plan is once the series is finished, I'm going to read them all back to back because the colorful landscape she depicts is so easily visualized and the characters are true and understandable. Love this series. Keep 'em coming Ms. White. Fan for life!

Love this series
I've reviewed most of this series already so this one will be short. The story line keeps getting better, the characters are full of depth and I haven't enjoyed another series as much as this one in a long time. This is my 3rd time reading this book, the whole series more than 10 times. I start over at the beginning when she comes out with a new one. Recommend to everyone who loves post-apocalyptic reading with a twist!!

Departed from the frying pan into the fire
Earthquakes, battles with enemies, battles against friends and surrounded by a dying world.
Safe Haven is not safe yet and they still haven’t reached their haven.
Amazing story filled with amazing characters and terrible editing.

Great as always
Great read. I am already looking forward to the next one. Some of the characters seem to have stopped growing. They were strong, loyal and had a personality of their own. I hope that they continue to grow.

No time to breathe
Yowza! Book 8 grabs you immediately and never lets go! Action is the theme of this chapter as the group transitions from the mountain into transportation mode. Lots of death and destruction, maybe too much but ... I'll be there for book 9!

It is interesting to see the development of the characters and the accomplishment of their goals. I will read the next in the series, wish it weren't such a long wait.
