Seventeen-year-old Jason Matthews made a wish when he'd shared a kiss with Katherine Conlin under the mistletoe at Dragonfly Pointe fourteen years ago. Now an Air Force Captain and wounded warrior, he awakens in the hospital in Germany where his dreams have been invaded by the girl from his past.
Once he returns home to the states, he finds out approaching Kat might be a little more difficult than he'd thought since she's been in a long term relationship for nearly two years.
But another year later when Jason discovers she’s on her way to the Dragonfly Pointe Inn for the Christmas holidays without her boyfriend, he seizes the opportunity to become reacquainted.
Kat had been expecting a proposal this Christmas, and when her boyfriend backs out yet again on the carefully laid plans she's made for them, she realizes she probably wouldn't be happy with him anyway.
Kat has often wondered what happened to Jason Matthews, the boy she'd made a wish with years ago, and the last thing she expects is to run into him again at the Dragonfly Pointe Inn.
Will there still be that special Christmas magic between them to make those long ago wishes come true?

Two Hearts' Christmas Wish is my first story by this author. I know I have missed a few stories in this series but all and all I didn't feel I was lost in this story. The author did a great job and I am looking forward to going back and reading the rest of this series.
Two Hearts' Christmas Wish was a very heartwarming story witch I absolutely loved. It warmed my heart and couldn't ask for a better book to get into the holiday spirit.
The characters Jason and Kat were great. I loved each of them. Jason a captain in the air force got hurt and was going hime. Once his mother told him that Kat was going to the inn were they have met when they were younger he had to go when she was there.
Kat never stopped thinking about Jason and after her boyfriend backed out on going to there vacation she still decides to go by herself. Once they see each other feelings of the past are coming back. Will they be able to recconect and fall in love again?
A must read for romance lovers this is one you dont want to miss.
This incredibly sweet story continues the saga of the wounded warriors who find their way to Dragonfly Pointe. Only Jason and Kat's story started there 14 years before. At a time when his world seemed to be the darkest, Jason finds himself dreaming of the teenage girl he left behind and although he has no intention of making contact with her, when she arrives at Dragonfly Pointe for Christmas - alone - he definitely is not going to pass up the opportunity that has landed at his feet. Jason was always a gentleman, even as a teenage boy, and his attraction to Kat makes him more sentimental than one would think for a warrior of his calibre. However, over the time that has elapsed, Kat has retained her sweet and lively nature, and Jason finds himself falling in love with her all over again. However, when Kat's not quite ex-boyfriend arrives, combined with the prosthesis he has to wear, Jason has his doubts about the future of a relationship with Kat. Although this book is part of a series it is nevertheless as standalone, however it does help to read the other books as well in order to have a better understanding of where the story originated. The story is well written and squeaky clean, making it suitable for a young adult to read as well. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
Two Hearts' Christmas Wish (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 4) by Tamara Ferguson is a lovely romance read, set around Christmas time, about hoping to get a second chance at happiness.
When Katherine Conlin's parents vacation one year at Crystal Rock she meets Jason Matthews, the son of a college friend of her mams, who has been asked to show her around. After spending the best part of everyday together for six days, they start to develop feelings for each other, which leads to them sharing a romantic kiss under some mistletoe at Dragonfly Pointe, where they both make a wish.
Fifteen years later, Air Force Pilot, Jason who has been injured in Germany, wakes up in hospital after dreaming of Kat. When he's home, after enquiring about Kat's family, his mam let's him know that Kat will be at Dragonfly Pointe Inn over the Christmas holidays, alone.
When Kat's boyfriend of two years cancels on her at the last minute, for a trip that she had been planning for a while, she doesn't let that stop her from going. Crystal Rock had been so beautiful when she was there 15 years ago, as her mam reminded her before she booked her stay at the Dragonfly Pointe Inn.
When they bump into each other again, will the wishes they both made when they were younger come true? After all, Dragonfly Pointe has been legendary for its power of ensuring new beginnings. Will this be a new beginning for Jason and Kat? Or have their feelings changed?
I loved this story. Wrote from the perspectives of both Jason and Kat, it's gives you an insight into how both are feeling at the same time. A lovely little read, that is perfect for snuggling up on a cold weekend next to a fire.
3.5☆ What I liked: The characters Part of a series: Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Standalone HEA
I look forward to reading more from this author. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
Two Hearts’ Christmas Wish (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 4)
By Tamara Ferguson
5 Stars (Only because I can't give more)
Holidays are approaching and what a way to get into the spirit. This book was simply awesome!! It made me feel good and I think I smiled through most of it. I love this authors style of writing, and her books have such an easy flow to them, she also has a way of describing the surroundings with just a few words making me feel like I'm right there.
This is a story of second chances and Christmas wishes. Jason and Kat met when they were just teenagers while her family vacationed at the Dragonfly Pointe Inn in Crystal Rock. Even being as young as they were they formed quite a bond and although they promised to stay in touch, he didn't, but the memories they shared almost 15 years ago were still fresh in both their minds. Jason who's back in Crystal Rock after being injured while in the Air Force hears that Kat is returning to the Inn to spend Christmas, but also knows that she has a longtime boyfriend and realizes that reconnecting after all these years might not work out the way he hopes.
Kat might be looking for a change, she planned this great Christmas vacation for her and her boyfriend at The Dragonfly Pointe Inn and he backed out at the last minute, giving her a chance to rethink many things in her life. She's often thought about the boy she met many years ago and was a bit heartbroken that after promising to stay in touch he never did. When she literally runs into him at the inn she is amazed that the same feelings she had all those years ago are still fresh. Can these two reconnect with all the time that has gone by and what happens when what she had originally hoped for and planned for this trip happens?
I will read everything this author has available and will be following her from this point forward. I love her stories and Ive absolutely fallen in love with Crystal Rock.
Two hearts Christmas Wish by Tamara Ferguson is book 4 in her Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series. It can be read as a standalone and it was the first of Tamara's books that I've read and now I can't wait to get my hands on more. To anyone that knows me it will not come as a surprise that I absolutely LOVE Hallmark movies. I count down the days until the Christmas lineup starts. Two Hearts Christmas wish was just as amazing as any Hallmark movie I've watched. In fact I'm seriously thinking of writing Hallmark and telling them this is the next one they need to make. I love the history between Jason and Kat, and being a part of their journey as they find each other again. Kat was confident and a strong female lead I fell in love from the first moment she grabbed hold of the mustard bottle. Jason was every teenage girls dream and later on every woman's dream (who doesn't love a man in uniform). I could go on and on about Two Hearts Christmas Wish but I would give away the whole book, so please just go grab it and curl up in a cozy blanket and enjoy.
Two Hearts' Christmas Wish is part of the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Series. This is a quick novella featuring new characters and I don't think you have to have read the others to enjoy this one.
Remember your first childhood love that you compare all others to and have unreasonable expectations because no one can live up to the memory of a 13 year old girl? PHEW, thank goodness I'm not alone :)
This second chance romance is quick and tidy and enjoyable for the fairy tale that it is. It's a nice little pick me up on a dark and dreary day. There is humor, sweet romance, and a little insight into the field of hand prosthesis.
I've said this before and feel like it deserves to be restated... The way Tamara Ferguson writes is very respectful to all the characters involved. It is also a book that I would recommend to my mother without blushing.
I will continue to read the future installments in this series.
Two Hearts Christmas Wish is the 4th book of the series by this is my first book by this author. I loved this book. I love reading books that have a journey that goes along with it. The book is about Jason and Kat. Jason has been wounded whike in the military and is on his way back home. The one person he has never forgotten from past family trips is Kat. When he finds out that she is at the cabin where they used to hangout he will stop and nothing to see her. Sometimes you just need a feel good book and this book was that for me. I give this book 5 stars. I will also be reading more from this author PRONTO!
Love love love!!! This book reminded me so much of my military in laws and my army retired partner. It’s a great love story of many years passing and still finding long lost love with a tragedy. I could not stop reading as you see that love after so long. I knew the feeling and it was relatable to a lot of people. The book was a great short read. I want to hear more about these two. The book flowed well and had good description. There were a few grammatical errors as I was reading but it was an amazing book. I need more of this!!!
Two Hearts' Christmas Wish is the fourth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series written by author Tamara Ferguson. I have had the pleasure of reading the other books in this series and I love how the author overlaps and intertwines the stories and characters throughout this series. This book could be read as a stand alone, but I do highly recommend reading them in order so you are more familiar with the supporting characters in the story. In Two Hearts' Christmas Wish, we learn Jason and Katherine's story. This is truly an inspiring story and it was tastefully done while also touching on some tough topics - war and the wounded warriors. This is a great series and each book feels as it's better than the previous. This was a great story to read noting the upcoming holidays. Beautiful, touching.
This is book 4 in the series, and I wasn't aware of that when I started reading it, I urge you to start reading from the beginning of the series but even though I didn't this was still a wonderful book. A book about first loves, second chances, and obstacles. I love that this book was set around the holidays as I have a soft spot for them, and the way the Dragonfly Pointe was described it sound like a magical place to be for the holidays. Jason and Kat were meant to be! I truly enjoyed this book and would love to read the whole series from start to finish.
What a beautiful lost love, second chance romance with a festive Christmas theme. I love having dual POV’s as it helps transport me into the story. Tamara Ferguson’s descriptive writing, the character development, and intriguing storyline grabbed my attention and kept me flipping the pages, engaged in the story, until the very end.
This was my first book by Tamara Ferguson, and I enjoyed it so much I have added two more to my collection and look forward to reading them.
"I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review."
Lovely sweet Christmas romance. Jason meet Kat when she is 13 and there is something about her that he doesn't want loose but....14 years later Jason is home in Crystal Rock after loosing his hand in Iraq. Kat is back for a Christmas vacation. There is a lot going on with the 2 characters and I think it would have been better if I had read the previous books in series, which I plan to do cause this one was so good. Loved it.
Sweet Christmas romance… I love this sweet Christmas romance. This interesting story has two flashbacks: one where Jason was injured in the Air Force and the other when Jason and Kat first meet. Seventeen year old Jason is surprised that he is captivated by thirteen year old Kat. Their time together is short since her family is visiting his and he will soon be entering the Air Force Academy. Fifteen years later, they meet up again. Jason hopes it's not too late and that they can pick up where they left off. I enjoyed this story very much. I received a copy of this book from Ebook Discovery. This is my honest and voluntarily given review.
I want to Thank Tamara for writing books in honor of wounded warriors. I'm an army vet, although I've never been wounded, I always love to read about happy endings with this kind of thing and the support people give. This story was very refreshing and at Christmas it's the best kind of caring and love.
This is the story of first love, a teenager's summer love. After that magical summer, and a Christmas Holiday meeting between the families Jason and Kat go their separate ways. Jason joins the Air Force and Kat becomes an interior designer. Both are looking for romance, but neither have found true love. 15 years later Jason is back from Iraq minus a hand and living in the same resort area where he first met Kat that special summer. Kat planned a fabulous vacation over Christmas with her current boyfriend to this same resort, but at the last minute he backed out. Will Kat go anyway? Will she reconnect with Jason? Will they reconcile their 1st love? I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book . This is my honest review.
Two Hearts Christmas Wish is Book 4 in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series written by Tamara Ferguson. This is my 2nd book written by Tamara Ferguson. One thing I have noticed is a small connection between the two stories they both mention Dragonfly Pointe. A nice little town and hotel where special things seem to bring people together, whether they realize it at the time or not. Jason and Kat are interesting characters. The story starts with then meeting in their teen years and then life happens. Luckily their moms are really good friends from college so whether Jason and Kat know it or not there is some choices made by the parents. This was a cute romance with a few sad and troubled parts but its nice the way they work through their issues no matter how hard they might seem. Dragonfly Pointe seems to be true to the rumors they its magical and brings new beginnings. The story is told in 3rd person and it flows nice and smooth.
Two Hearts Christmas Wish is book 4 in the two hearts wounded warrior series by Tamara Ferguson. This is such an amazing story about second chances. But not only is it about second chances it's about being able to move past tragedy. The way the author writes helps the reader feel as if they are right in the story. It's so easy to get lost in this book. I personally was not able to put the book down until I was done. Which was good and bad because I started while at work so every chance I got I glanced at my phone to read a lil more. Jason is such a great character. After surviving a tragic incident while overseas he's able to overcome his limits. Katherine learns to ram through heartbreak. I absolutely love second chance romances and this one is that and more. We see struggle being overcome, Love finding its way again and learning to overcome adversities. I give this book a 5 star rating. This is my first book by this author and won't be the last.
Two Hearts’ Christmas Wish by Tamara Ferguson Five Stars
Two Hearts’ Christmas Wish is the fourth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series by Tamara Ferguson. I love this series, but I think this is my new favorite book. This story can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend you read the series in order because you will mis a lot of backstory if you don’t. Also the characters from previous books make appearances in this one. This book is a perfect book for the Christmas season or anytime. I love Jason and Kat, they have some real chemistry going on. The way they interact is wonderfully refreshing. The way their family pushes them together for a second chance is amazing. I highly recommend this book, series and author to anyone who loves romance.
I love love love books centered around the holidays. I’m a sucker for them. Also, second chance romances? Military men? Yes please. Two Hearts’ Christmas Wish by Tamara Ferguson checked all those boxes for me. While this was book four in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series, it was my first book I’ve read by this author and I was able to read it as a stand alone.
This was a sweet book. It touched on some serious subject matter and showed me things from an angle I hadn’t considered before. I loved Kat’s sassy and confident personality. I also liked Jason, he was responsible and caring, and it was nice seeing his softer side. This book flowed well, a very smooth read for me. It mentioned characters I assume were from the other books and I can definitely see myself looking into their stories in the future.
I really enjoyed the story of Kat and Jason. This story can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend you read the series in order because you will miss a lot of backstory if you don’t. Also the characters from previous books make appearances in this one. If you like second chances at love, then this book is definitely for you. I loved the deep connection Kat and Jason had and I was rooting for them from the very first page!
I have a 13 year old daughter, and another one before her. No way would I have allowed a 17 year old boy be alone with her if I thought there was an interest.
The injuries. The three would not have recovered from burns that severe WITH amputations in a year.
And what's with all the italics? The premise of the story was good but it was poorly written.
This is a very touching series! It hits on some serious subjects such as our Veterans returning home with issues and disabilities of our young and old.
Two Hearts' Christmas Wish (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 4) by Tamara Ferguson is the fourth book in her Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series. This story can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest that you read the previous three books first. You will get to see other characters and this author's writing style. I have read many of this author's books and have loved them all. I know exactly what I am getting when I pick up one of her books or short stories. I know that I am in for a journey that I won't be able to put down and I will be reading it in one sitting. Her writing style is such that she will pull you in from the first word and keep you engaged until the last. Her attention to details really just keep the story popping off the pages. Her characters are lovable, connectable and true to life. They will take you on a roller coaster ride of various emotions that you don't want to miss. They will pull you into their world and make you feel like you are right there. This is the story of Jason and Kat. They met through their parents when they were younger and spent time together when they were teenagers. But like most teenagers they go their separate ways. Jason joined the Air Force and now finds himself wounded and on his way home. The one thing that has never left is his thoughts of her. When he finds out that she will be spending time alone for a week at Dragonfly Point, what will he do? When they meet again, the attraction is still there. Their memories of the past are as fresh as ever. Will they be able to rekindle what they once had? Will his wound make a difference to Kat? I loved these two characters. They are two strong characters that both are strong and independent. They both know what they want and how to get it. I kept hoping they would find their HEA together but you will need to read to find out! Dragonfly Point is a great magical place but will it be able to make magic with them? These two are sweet together and really do make a great couple. Their lives took them in two different directions but yet fate places them together at Dragonfly Point. Their story will no doubt keep you engaged until the end and I highly recommend you read this story. I know you will want to see Dragonfly Point work its magic one more time.
Book Review: Two Hearts Christmas Wish Author: Tamara Ferguson FIVE STARS Ferguson brings us Jason Matthews who is an Air Force pilot who has been injured and is now working with the Wounded Warrior Foundation. And Katherine Conlin who is an interior designer from Chicago. Jason and Kat met the summer they were 16 and 13 respectively. Kat knew there was no way that Jason could ever be interested in her as young as she was, could he? By the end of her vacation spent with Jason they had fallen for each other yet, it wasn’t fair to either of them. After Christmas Jason was going away to the Air Force Academy and would not be able to keep in contact with Kat. He had to let her go. Kat’s family ended up being able to come back to visit before Jason and his mother left to go to Germany for the new year and then Jason would be heading off. Jason and Kat spent the entire time together and finally admitted how they felt about each other and had their first and last kisses. Flash forward 15 years, Kat and Jason meet up (due to some planning by their mothers) and the sparks fly again. Their story is one of many that Ferguson has written that takes place in this town that is Dragonfly Pointe. I love all of these storys as they touch close to home. I was with a wounded warrior. He didn't carry the physical affects of war but he did suffer greatly from PTSD and I support our veterans near and far as much as I possibly can. I loved that man and I hated what the PTSD did to his self confidence and his inability to make commitments to me and my children. I still love this man and wish there had been a chance of us making things work. Hopefully anyone out there that is suffering will seek out the help they need.
A very sweet and special story about love lost and found again.
TWO HEARTS' CHRISTMAS WISH (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 4) By: Tamara Ferguson 5 out of 5 stars
The story TWO HEARTS' CHRISTMAS WISH (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 4) by Tamara Ferguson is an amazing book that I loved reading. It is a story about a second chance at love and the power of a wish. Jason Matthews and Katherine Conlin may have lost touch with each other however once they find themselves reunited at the Dragonfly Pointe Inn they find that their feelings for each other have not changed. The story is told from both Jason and Katherine’s POV. This is a book that warmed my heart and had me believing in true love. It is set at Christmas time, one of my favorite times of the year. Picking a tree and decorating it are just two of the activities that these two find themselves engaged in. What else will this Christmas season have in store for them? Will Jason and Katherine’s wish to find a future together come true? This is the fourth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series and if you have read the other books you will recognize some of the characters that Jason and Katherine meet and spend time with. I have fallen in love with Dragonfly Pointe and the Dragonfly Pointe Inn. There is a magical feel when reading about them and that anything is possible when you are there. If you haven’t read the previous books I highly recommend doing so. They are just as amazing as this one. I have read many books by the author and will continue to read her work. She has a way of weaving a story that draws you in from the very beginning and I find myself not wanting to put the book down until I have finished the final page. This is a series and story to be put at the top of your TBR list.
Two Hearts’ Christmas Wish By Tamara Ferguson 5 stars
I have read a few stories by this author and I know that I am always going to be in for a beautifully written book that will no doubt have me shedding a few tears – and this one was no exception! She just manages to pull me into her stories and the lives of the characters in them so easily. Her books really are just an absolute pleasure to read. After reading this one I do feel a little Christmassy! I really love stories that are set at this time of year for some reason it makes them all the more romantic. I loved Kat and Jason – they had such a deep connection that I was rooting for them from the very first page! Jason was just a little swoon worthy for me – I really did think he was such a lovely, genuine person and it was so obvious Kat was everything to him. I really liked Kat too and I just felt this connection with her – she was a really likeable character. As with all of Tamara’s books the setting for this story was great. She has an amazing ability when describing the scenes for her books – it makes it so easy for me as a reader to visualise exactly where her characters are. If you are looking for a beautifully written romance story with a Christmassy setting then you will not be disappointed with this book at all. Although it is part of a series it could be read as a standalone but I would always recommend reading the others too because they are equally as fabulous as this one! I am really looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.
