Rosa

With those searing whiskey eyes, chiseled face, and cocky attitude it was pretty obvious he was a player. Ordinarily, I would have been able to resist him, but it was my best friend’s wedding, and I’d had a lot of alcohol, so I thought, what the hell. At the very least he'd have the skills, and judging by that huge swell in his pants, the equipment to give a bridesmaid a good time.
Of course, we used a condom, actually, a few, but one month later I’m sitting on my bathroom floor looking at five pregnancy sticks all lined up. Each one telling me the same thing: Girl, you’re pregnant.
Clearly, he won’t want to know, being a player and everything, but my best friend says telling him is the right thing to do.

Looks like I’ll have to go to Italy to give him the bad news.

Dante

I wasn’t asleep when she woke up that morning and crept out of my hotel room. For the first time in my life I didn’t want a hook-up to leave, but that made me more determined than ever not to see her again. I liked my carefree life too much.
I left England and flew to Monte Carlo. The big plan was to hit the casinos and lose myself in other women, but I got back to Italy and simply couldn’t forget her.
A month later out of the blue, she swans back into my life to drop her bombshell.
I let her slip away once. I won't again. This time I'm doing the unthinkable. I'm going to limit myself to just one woman.
I'll show her I can be the perfect daddy.
This woman and the baby in her belly are going nowhere.

They are both mine now.

I'm a bit late for the party but ta-da,
I'm here now...

And I'm so glad I came to the party, cause I got to experience a true Georgia Le Carre storytelling-fast paced, brilliantly intertwined descriptions of people, places, events, that can only do one thing, place you directly in the middle of setting.

Here, it's one of the most romantic cities in the world-Rome.

The way Georgia describes in such a palpable detailed manner every bit of surrounding elements-food, odour exterier, interier, just makes this story within its plot one extraordinary journey, made me feel like I'm there, seeing it, experiencing it on my own.

Besides all of the above, this is a classic Georgia Le Carre storytelling, filled with funny banter, sassy dialogues, sexy steamy interactions, likable hero & heroine that find their HEA after the dramatic turmoil and twisty ploy plaxed against them.

This is Rosa Winchester & Dante D'Angelo's story!

it's a perfect royal drama of devious, ambitious ploys, with insta attraction that lead to a one-night stand, only to have two utterly different people re-connected with a firm bond, as they get to know one another, entering another sphere of interactions, after the revelation of the real name and the heritage Dante's name entailes.

But mark my words, there's more to the man's name! *wink*

Almost like a fairytale, well, it is...but then again, it's just the right amount of everything one can wish to read about on a lazy summer afternoon.

Oh boy, this was NOTHING like I was hoping for...
I can’t even believe this is the same author of the Billionaire Banker series, not even the writing is at the same level, but what really surprised, negatively I mean, and disappointed me was the main couple. Yes, I said it, BOTH were horrible in the most diverse of ways, from the unrealistic and exaggerated personas to their inconsistency... Lord, I hated Rosa as much as I hated the PLAYBOY prince, and that’s saying something, considering he committed one of my biggest pet peeves, even though the blurb leads us to believe the opposite, . I rest my case, because honestly I’m too disappointed for words... :(

My love affair with this author's books continues. At first reading,I could not help but be put off by the playboy hero,he was so cocky and full of himself, totally unrepentant, but you know what ? as I read and read, this playboy just sucked me right in and by books' end,I was a convert to his wicked, sexy self!
I loved the playlist for this book,it has some of my favorite songs listed and the Eros Ramazotti songs are amongst my favorites.

Fairy tales can come true...

This was sooooo stupid, but SO much fun. It makes some of the HP's we've read/loved/hated look realistic. Fantasy fairy tale fiction on speed with lots of sex.

The h has a one night stand with what she thinks is a very cocky (for more than one reason) smarmy Italian playboy. Quite crudely, but still winningly, he places the moves on her.

One month later and five pregnancy tests later she lets him know the news. Does he throw her out because no way it can be his child because he had mumps, had a vasectomy, she was too easy, etc? Nope, he wants to put a ring on it.

Fun manipulation/flirtation occurs and he has her transferred to Italy where his magic manliness is much closer. He romances the h that he is secretly crazy about and shows her Rome.Nice details and quite romantic interspersed with the graphic sex. He turns out to be a Prince that has rejected his title. I am not sure why he is so in love with her, but suspension of disbelief is key in this story so I just went with it.

More fun times occur when she finally agrees to marry him and they go back to ye olde ancestral country. Romance, danger, more danger, lots of sex and cliches abound, but it's all fun times except for the danger.

The book was a little schizophrenic in that it couldn't decide to be a sweet romance, a nasty sex romp or a thriller so it went all of the above.

P.S. Is it my imagination or does the H on the cover look like an ex-Bachelor? Not that I watch the Bachelor. Really.

God this book was awful. I mean holy crap could she have written a more air headed bimbo of a heroine?

Oh emm gee he's royalty! Ugh, barf. The heroine was a complete bimbo I couldn't stop rolling my eyes. They go from complete strangers to her agreeing to marry him for the baby in 2.5 seconds. The whole time she's more excited about her child potentially becoming royalty than continuing to have unprotected sex with a man whore she doesn't even know.

It was ridiculous.

“Life, no matter what happens, is a wonderful adventure.”

Have you ever read a book that the ending made you smile and your heart swelled with so much emotion? That you wished it never ended but you love a happily-ever-after anyway so you can't really decide if you want more or close the book and bask in the rush of feelings that finishing a good book always give you?

I admit, I was kinda surprised with this book. It was a good kind, of course. I didn't expect the humor but I definitely enjoyed it. It made for a light reading and something you just want to devour. However, never mistake the light element of it to take you away from that raw, all consuming and intense feeling that the characters always feel. Plus, and this is a must, you must always click the youtube link first before you start reading anything. It sets the mood and makes for an enjoyable read.

One thing I always love about Georgia Le Carre's book is that it always felt magical to me. So the start of this book was a surprise because it was of a light banter, a push and pull, sweet flirting, and I felt it was moving too fast I was afraid I was going to be hit and run over.

But, it actually adds to the charm of the book and everything was like a whirlwind of movements and romance.

Dante is such a smooth talker. Typical playboy. Romantic. And I can't help but just fall in love with him. He's also intense and an Alpha lover and I can't help but swoon! Rosa, on the other hand, is looking for someone she can settled with, but thesex appeal that Dante has cannot be denied and so she can't help but give in.

I love that there are twists and the story and that this is so romantic. I will stop here or I might spill the beans. I can't help but feel as if I was in that country and feel the love in the air that croons my heart and soul.

. .

I felt that the eipilogue was rushed though but then I think it was for the best. I still couldn't take my eyes off it. It still is funny and romantic. Ah, this book, it makes my heart flutter and makes me feel like a poet in love.

Definitely something worth reading and perfect for readers who want a light, romantic read and all consuming love.

“As I watch her laid out naked, her legs askew, waiting for me, I feel pride. This is my woman. All mine.”

Another beautifully written, detailed story from Georgia - with a great twist!

The continuing story is set in Rome, I loved that, it made the romance even better especially as Georgia is always so committed to noting the environment for us in glorious detail - we get to feel her books as much as read them!

It felt like a modern fairytale - not so much of GLC's conspiratorial side, as her old romantic side shines through! Dante is super hot, dirty talking, sexy as hell and much more of a good man than he initially seems.

Honestly, if this phenomenal author writes it, I'll happily read it!!!

The Heir....and this is why I love Georgia's writing! Its contemporary romance with a twist!

One look and their lives change forever! Dante and Rosa lives become intertwined after one night of Carte de Blanche sex. But oh what a tangled web one weaves when one practice to deceive! Dante played the empty headed rich playboy to the hilt and dude is anything but! Ok so yeah his hip swivel skills are notorious. I'm actually a little jealous I've missed out...not really! Dante is made for Rosa. Their chemistry, their oneness with each other's soul is incomparable.

But! There is evil afoot and somebody has to act the jolly ole fool but things settle for this duo. There is some action a bit darker than Le Carre is known for but we're all adults, right?!! I'll go as far as to say the scenes are light gray. There. All better now.

Great story! Characters and scenes are well developed, and the suspense/drama are on point!

4.5 stars!

Not for me

Didn't really like this one. I really didn't like Rosa and was not a fan of Dante. I used to really like the stories from this author, but there is just something off with this one.

Hmm.. Where to begin..

Let me just start off by saying that this book and all the turns it took was very very refreshing.

I absolutely surprisingly enjoyed the fact that the author didn't blurt out everything in the blurb.

Yay..

The story starts off and you go like..

Oh right.. That theme..

Then it takes a turns and you go like..

Wait, what?

And then there's a whole new story beginning from there..

Dafuq ,bro?

I really enjoyed this one.
It was adorable, fun, steamy and everything.
Total package.

One thing that really kinda made me go uhh was that the ending was just not there..

There was no story about what happens to certain people or how does the thing actually get resolved after the whole "event". And it just jumps to an epilogue.

But anyway, I truly enjoyed it.
Being a reader for a long time and experiencing so many stories and genres, I have kinda lost my patience..

But this one made me a very happy and patient reader!

Have you ever read a book and forgotten the blurb? Well, I did, so I was surprised when certain things were revealed. Kind of funny, actually. Speaking of funny, this book had some humor to it. There was a lot of push and pull between them throughout the first half, but to be fair neither of them planned for this. Oh man later in the story are some SERIOUSLY shocking moments! I liked the dual pov, with a hea and a song for each chapter. I very much enjoyed this and read it in one day.

I received an arc of this.

A fabulous read. This is one of a few books that I have read by Georgia and I have to say it was fantastic. It was well written, the characters of Dante and Rosa were so very likable and the storyline itself was very enjoyable. You get a bit of a sweet and sexy romance as well as some fun with a twist of disloyalty and family mayhem. I couldn't put it down, it was that good. "I'll never go to bed with a shallow beast like him. Never. Not in a million years. He can take his gorgeous teeth, and his splendid shoulders, and his laughing, teasing eyes, and his...his...full crotch, and shove it all up his ass."

Snort! I sincerely laughed out loud and ended up snorting as obviously Rosa never, ever would sleep with such a man...evil cackle! This story was filled with humour and sass, giving an extra edge to a contemporary romance that was more than I bargained for. An unexpected one night stand at a wedding leads onto a something unplanned but can Rosa keep her walls firmly in place as the playboy tries to show her he is more than just his reputation? It's certainly a whirlwind romance as the pair jet off across Europe, exploring and learning more about one another. Can Rosa overcome her bias towards his playboy status and admit he's the one for her or will his cocky attitude prevent them from having their happily ever after?

This is a magical read, delivering a story based in the here and now but with a fairytale quality. It's sublime and totally satisfies the inner little princess who dreams of her Prince Charming that most ladies secretly harbour! It has secrets and twists with a little danger, mystery and intrigue but over all it's a romance story that takes the reader on a journey of a couple falling in lust and then evolving into love. The writing style is as always very well written and almost poetic in parts as it's written so beautifully, creating wonderful imagery and stirring emotions. I laughed and shook my head at them quite a few times. I really loved this story, it's an ideal form of escapism and l feel much happier for having read it, it left me smiling from ear to ear. Reading is my therapy and this is a double dose of happy!

A five star do happily ever after endings exist read.

Dante is a big playboy used to getting anything he wants and at this wedding he wants one bridesmaid Rosa. At first Rosa is not interested at all but Dante uses his charm and he gets her for one night. However he wasn't expecting the feelings he had as he watched her slip away while thinking he was asleep. Wanting to push those feelings aside Dante goes back to his life of a playboy. Rosa works at a magazine as a writer and everything was back to normal until she got sick a month later. After multiple tests she knows that she didn't leave her night of passion behind her completely she's pregnant. Unsure of how Dante will react Rosa is confident that she can handle being a single mom if he doesn't want to be involved. Once She goes to Dante and lets him know of the baby things don't go as she plans because Dante wants to be involved and wants her and the baby to live with him. Things change quickly in Rosa's life a new job takes nothing could prepare her for Dante's secret her closer to where Dante lives so its easier to see where things will go with them and the baby. However nothing could have prepared her for Dante's secret and what it would mean for them. Especially when his family gets introduced into the equation. This book has it all romance, extremely hot chemistry between the characters and some big drama that even I didn't see coming. I loved this book and can't wait to read more by this author. I absolutely fell deeply in love with Dante. Oh my gosh! A cocky alpha male who knows what he wants and doesn't stop until he gets what he wants. He also is a romantic at heart. SWOON! He hides behind his playboy ways but Rosa comes into his life with a surprise that changes everything. However, Dante is hiding something too. Everything will eventually change.

Oh my! This book was a whirlwind of emotions. Happy, sad, turned on, crying, and so much more. My heart actually hurt. Wow! What a fabulous read. I absolutely can see myself reading this again and again.

The Heir was my first book by Georgia Le Carre and I enjoyed it very much. I love royal romances and while this story was mainly focused on royalty it was still great. Dante is crazy sexy and very cocky. He knows he is a playboy and doesn't hide that fact, but when Rosa comes into his life he takes on a different perspective. Rosa isn't having it with the cocky, hotter than hades, playboy, but somehow with a little alcohol persuasion she gives into his charm. After one night together they are tied together for the rest of their lives and their romance slowly starts to bloom. Add in hostile royal family members, a murderous, evil stepmother, a weak king, you get an intense ride with crazy hot, steamy moments mixed in. I loved this book, the ending had me worried, I laughed, I cried, and I thanked the author for Star in the end. This story is a definite one-click. There is Rosa, who is career focus. She ends up having a one night stand with an very arrogant playboy while she is at her best friend's wedding. Then there is The arrogant playboy Dante, he never expected to be so attracted to one woman but let's her leave the next morning. Jump ahead a month or so and guess what, Rosa is pregnant. She goes to tell Dante in Rome and he says he wants to have a relationship with her and his child. She doesn't believe him and goes back to London. That when the fun start stuff starts. There is intrigue, wit and mystery as well as some really hot steamy scenes. Can they make it work? What will happen when Rosa finds out about his past? You'll need to read the book to find out but its definitely worth it. Good Read!!

I truly enjoyed this story about Rosa and Dante. Georgia Le Carre provides the reader with a sweet, page turning romance.
Rosa and Dante meet at a wedding and even though she says she won't she does sleep with him and thus begins their entanglement.
Dante is the playboy who seems to never need a woman and who knows everyone.
When Rosa tells Dante she is pregnant she expects to just leave and get on with her life. He can be part of it but it isn't necessary. Little does Rosa know Dante's reach and how he will be a part of her and their child's life.
This story follows Rosa and Dante falling in love but Dante's secret and the twist and turns that come from that secret take this from a "typical" romance novel to something with a bit more substance. The reader will want to know what all is happening in Dante's family and how this will effect the two lovers.
I received this book and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

Amazing! I fell in love with this book by Georgia Le Carre. It was fantastically written and the flow to the story was outstanding. I loved how well the characters Dante and Rosa were developed. They were amazing and have the greatest personalities in this story. Their chemistry was off the charts. I loved how take charge Dante was and how independent Rosa is with her take no crap attitude. The descriptions of the scenes were amazing and made you feel like you were part of the book or they were part of their world. Georgia Le Carre writes amazing books and they are always full of action, romance, with a little suspense. This is definitely worth reading and it won't disappoint. 4.5 stars Excellent contemporary playboy vs royalty romance. Dante is known across Europe as a playboy who doesn't take life seriously. While at his friends wedding he meets bridesmaid Rosa. He seduces her and the next morning she sneaks out. About a month later she realizes she is pregnant and that she needs to tell Dante. He is surprised but doesn't seem disturbed by Ross's announcement. Now Rosa gets to learn the reality of playboy Dante's life and is she in for an overwhelming changes in her life. As the books continues there is intrigue and suspense added in so it is a good book to read when you want more than a simple romance. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Le Carre

I have yet to read a book by Georgia that I have not devoured. This is yet another hit by her that I could not put down! Rosa and Dante are hot for each other from the very start, you can FEEL it as soon as they start talking to each other. But as soon as Rosa shows up a month or so later to let Dante know that his life might change (if he so chooses) their relationship doesn't just go straight to the bedroom, they really start to become friends but Rosa doesn't just back down to everything Dante wants. This is a great give and take kinda of relationship based book. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review. And I recommend everyone to read this awesome book.
