It's been hard for me to find current Gestalt therapy books beyond the years of Perls, Goodman, Hefferline. This book brings Gestalt back to its roots and its current day focus on a relational gestalt therapy and for that it was highly useful to me. In particular I appreciated the first 20+ pages of the introduction where Jennifer Mackewn went back and gave a theoretical background to Gestalt pointing out which pieces are ascribed to which contributors to the field (not the field, but the field).
Highly recommend this book to anyone interested in a personal relational therapy.
