Let me just start this review by saying that I am the worst at putting down a book even when I already hate it. Not that I hated this book. If I actually hated a book in the truest sense I would naturally be unable to finish it no matter what. My point is, I did not like this book BUT I have this bad habit of trudging through the incredibly dumb books after I've already figured out I SO do not care anymore and have a list of things I dislike about either the story or characters.
In this case I did finish this book. Blame it on sick curiosity. Truth be told, I'm sure there is someone out there that could enjoy this kind of sludge but not me. I've read many books with this sort of trope and 9 out of 10 times the book has turned out good. They redeem the seemingly immature damaged man whore of a hero and we get that HEA all while having an entertaining time. This book? Well that wasn't the case for me. I'll admit the opening chapters were pretty funny to me and I had high hopes after that but everything went downhill from there.
The heroine Alicia was wishy washy. I had the impression she was sort of shy but more or less this well put together woman in her mid-twenties. Then she began to come across as contrary and extremely immature. Maybe not in actions did her immaturity show as often but in her thoughts and inner monologues? Literally all the time. The inner thoughts of this woman was a cringe worthy experience. I could not stand it. It was like I was reading a teenage girls diary.
The hero Derrick was basically your average playboy asshole who had a HUGE self entitlement problem and apparently a need to flaunt a big dick. At this point I highly doubt he didn't have an STD with how he spoke of women and the amount of sex he had with different women in the beginning. Honestly it was disgusting. But I let it go knowing there was SUPPOSE to be a good guy underneath all that muck. And there was, sort of. He had some serious daddy issues which were, as it turns out based on a bunch of lies. So he hated his daddy for no reason. SIGH.
But you know what the worst part of this whole story was? Alicia. I did not like her and it got worse the longer I read. To make it short, she was lying the entire time they had their relationship. Even after he tells her about his feelings for "Alicia", better known as the girl from his past. The only one he ever loved. (I mean come on! Oh look he admitted he loved Alicia this whole time to Alicia but not really because HE THINKS SHE'S THIS ALMOST STRIPPER DAPHNE APPLE!! --- I'm totally serious too.) And even after he admits he loves her. NOW, as in this alternate personality she had used with him she admits she loves him too and basically keep on humping like bunnies for like two months. And it even leads to him proposing to her and I was thinking FINALLY. This is it. She won't accept his proposal until she explains that she was lying and trying to dig dirt up on him to get his visa revoked...and boy was I disappointed. What happened instead? He asked, she proceeded to flail and fangirl and gush in her inner narrative before exclaiming YES! She would totally marry him.
This was the dumbest thing I had ever read. Honestly. At least this month. Let me be honest. But I was shaking my head this whole time thinking WHY WHY WHY? Who does that? NO ONE. It was all based on lies and the worst part was it didn't even bother her. No conscience. Even before then. She was too happy and gushing over having her dream man finally and all the sex she was having.
On top of this the narrative used was silly. Jumping out of turn to talk to the reader is okay, I've read books who've done this but the execution of it in this book was obnoxious. Add on the extreme usage of the work FUCK, and it was a big fat no. Honestly I LOVE the work fuck but whenever we were stuck in Derrick's head it was nearly every other word he used and I couldn't understand why an intelligent human being would need to use this expletive every other word. Honestly! And don't get me started on the villain like ex-boyfriend of Alicia's. God. Plot device, much?

Princely Passions by Alexis Angel is a sexy, humorous and steamy read. It is a royal romance between Prince Derrick aka "Prince Sin" and Alicia Bayer.
Derrick is in trouble when his less than royal behavior gets him into trouble and he needs an image makeover. His staff comes up with a plan to get a nice wholesome girl to help with that image makeover. Alicia grew up with Prince Derrick and when there came a chance to bring down the “Prince of Sin”, she jumped at it. There is history between them and she is willing to do whatever it takes but what will happen when what everyone thinks happened possibly didn’t? Will that redeem Derrick in Alicia’s eyes—since he is the only man she has ever loved or will that digs his grave even deeper in her eyes?
I liked the heat, the witty banter and definitely the steam between Derrick and Alicia aka Daphne. There are many twists and turns in this story by Alexis Angel. I cannot wait to see what she has next up to read.

Princely Passions by Alexis Angel a passionate five star read. This is a royal romance and it’s the story of a Rich, handsome, playboy prince with a reputation that leads before him meaning he is adored by women everywhere and is infamous for the wrong reasons, namely drinking and having his wicked way. He gets away with everything as he’s a crowned prince with diplomatic immunity, but that will only get him so far as one morning he goes too far, and nothing can help with this situation? Or can they? Can the Prince of Sin be turned into the Prince of Angelic delight?
Alicia Bayer is a woman with a plan, a plan to bring down the Prince of Sin. She has a history with him that means she will do whatever it takes to get her revenge. But what happens when you find out what you think may not be true?
This was a great romance with some steam and spice thrown in for good measure. Alexis Angel has once again wrote a story that will keep you entertained and hot.

Prince Derrick is a Egotistical Godlike Alpha with a physique that women swoon over. Alicia's a beautiful, smart, head strong woman who's job is to report the news whether it be ugly or not the truth is what she's after. She's just caught her scumbag of a boyfriend cheating with her roommate & rather than stay at home & stew about it goes to work to try & forget what she walked in on. Alicia finds herself to have been promoted to take on none other than the Prince himself. One little teeny tiny issue with that though. Can you guess? Grab your copy NOW to find out if you're right. I'm sorry, this is just...not my cup of tea. He's got no real redeemable qualities. She's pretty much dumb as toast. I lost count of how many girls he screws at first and I just did not like this at all. I'm sorry but it's a hard pass for me.

In this book we have Prince Derrick Blaine, aka "Prince Sin", the playboy of New York City (NYC). He is use to getting his way with everything, have it all how he wants. The Prince made it through fighting over in Afghanistan, and vowed not to lose a single day of his life, and that he would indulge in everything and anything he wanted. The Prince of course is protected by diplomatic immunity, not a US Citizen at all.
We also have Alicia Bayer who works at the news of the Times in NYC, and graduated at Yale with her journalism degree. Alicia likes safe, safe career, safe boyfriend who she is still thinking about, and she's also still a virgin.
Alicia & Prince Derrick have a history together. They attended a private school together growing up. Prince Derrick was behind much of her school ridicule. Prince Derrick tormented her past. She never forgot what he did to her throughout school. Even though Alicia was always checking out his body while he was running laps or playing football.
The NY DA & The Times are going to work together to bring down Prince Derrick. However, they want Alicia to go 'under cover' as s stripper to help bring him down. Alicia is recruited because she grew up in St. Livy along with Prince Derrick. The DA wants to get dirty laundry on the Prince to show the world that he is dangerous and wants to turn the public opinion against him.

The District Attorney wants him to be extradited due to his bad behaviour. Well he will just have to find a way to stay. Meeting Stripper Misty reminds him of a girl he used to know...Alicia, the girl who broke his heart ❤️. Well in truth he broke hers and now she wants revenge. Problem is, Misty and Alicia are one and the same but secrets being what they are, Alicia is now out for revenge and she becomes Daphne Apple. Oh what a wicked web we weave. A story of secrets, lies, passion so hot it burns the pages . The one thing Derrick and Alicia/Daphne don't anticipate is Love, pure and simple. A fantastic read you will seriously enjoy.

Fun and Sexy
This was another fun and sexy read from Alexis Angel. Alexis puts together a story so that it just keeps your involved and engrossed in the characters and what will happen next in the story line. Of course we have all the very smexy and salacious scenes in this story; it wouldn’t be an Angel story if there wasn’t. In this story we have a Prince Derrick Blaine better known as Prince Sin who has a penchant for having smexy times where ever and whenever he wants. Unfortunately he miscalculated this time. And needs to make up for it. Enter Alicia Bayer who happens to know this bad boy Prince very well. Things are about to get very heated in NYC between these two. I loved this book and only put it down because hey a girl has to work or sleep! One click it you won’t be sorry.

Yes, I enjoyed this book, it is one of Alexis better books. This book makes you ask can your past turn you into a selfish, man-whore? Apparently so. Thinking that his father is a womanizer and a horrible husband to his mother Derrick has treated women and his life like a game. Why be a good prince when his father was a horrible father and husband. Kinda childish if you ask me but whatever.
Then you have Alicia, the girl that knew Derrick as a child and let us just say they didn't get a long. So when Alicia is asked to write a story about him to bring to light how bad he really is, she jumps at the chance. But the way she goes about it leaves much to be desired.
I would recommend this book if you are looking for a book to just get lost in this is the one for you. I received an advance reader copy for my honest review.

Just Wow. I really could not put this book down. It started that I could not wait to see what ridiculous thing Prince Derrick was going to do. Could there be a more self centered, sex fiend, who uses his status to do whatever he wants with no consequences. In comes Alicia, his mystery woman who is suppose to destroy him. Only she finds out his past and her past have more meaning than she thought, and she is in love with him, and most of all she is changing him into the man he can be proud of. The problem is, he does not know who she really is, and he is in love with her. It is an amazing story of love and lost and love found in the most unusual circumstances. Great sex and a HEA that took almost a lifetime to find.

Prince Derrick has a reputation, he`s the Prince of Sin and one of the brokenhearted woman from his past is looking for revenge but what they both failed to see was they were meant of reach other! The story is full of lies, secrets, steamy passion. A fun read

I love Alexis Angel's sense of humor. It makes her books that much more fun to read and doesn't detract from the serious moments in her stories. Prince Derrick may be a little wild, but he wants a down-to-earth, good girl like Daphne. Yet, he can't help but be drawn to Misty. There are sweet times intertwined with hot, sexy, and steamy moments in this entertaining, fast read. I loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Predictable, needs a proofreader
If you're looking for an afternoon of light, mindless reading, this will do just fine. The prince is an arrogant, womanizing jerk who reforms for the right woman--a common plot device. The author uses the f-word as if she gets paid extra for each use. One would think a prince with an elite education would have a better vocabulary. The heroine starts with something like a backbone, but it dissolves into mush almost immediately.

Great read Could have been a 4 star
This could have been a 4 star read if not for the constant dialogue and inner dialogue about the size of the prince's member. Don't get me wrong I really liked the rest of it and I would recommend it. I just jumped ahead the tiniest bit a few times. The relationship between the h/h was great, lots of steamy sexy time and laugh out loud moments.

Princely Passions by Alexis Angel is a great book. Exactly what you would expect from an Alexis Angel book. This hot and steamy romance is well written, fun and has a touch of sweetness. Perfect for any fan of sizzling and sexy romances. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

Really great royal romance. I enjoyed Derrick as the bad boy prince whose embarrassing antics almost got him tossed from the country. But I loved him as the guy with the heart of gold, reformed for the right woman.

I loved this story,Derrick does what he wants and when he wants at no ones expense until Alicia and Derrick meet under certain circumstances and changes everything.Can they tame each other.Lots of hot moments and these two have off the charts chemistry that will melt your heart.I voluntarily read a readers copy of this book

I loved Alicia and Derrick. The dirty mouth, mind and way of life with the unavoidable draw to their one true love. Things were twisted on the way to the end but the end was definitely worth it. Would highly recommend this book. Happy reading!

Loved this book it was off the charts hot the characters were so on point and well naughty ( which I love ) Prince sin omg what can I say that man has some gumption and then some.

Another great, hot and steamy read from Alexis Angel. Love the storyline and it pulled me in right from the beginning and kept me hooked all the way to the end. Wonderful characters, lots of humor, great sex scenes, and twists and turns to keep you .glued to the pages. A definite must read!

This is Alexis Angel at her very best! This is one of those novels which when started cannot be put down until finished. This story had me on tenterhooks as the story unfolded, and is filled with humour, and is a hot and steamy story. This is a must read in my opinion. This author is one of my favourites, and I cannot wait to read more from her.
